Chapter 82. Get Close

Kana nodded and with Gino's help the girl stood up.

Gino grabs Kana's hand and takes her back into the building. Kana glanced at Gino's hand that was grasping it.

"Sorry" said Gino and immediately released his hand.

"It's okay" said Kana while trying to smile amid the bitterness of reality she felt.

"That's it, smile. Your smile will look twice as beautiful. Getting more people from Wendi will be easier," Gino teased.

"Gombal," Kana said with a bitter smile. "Sir Wendi just don't want to be the same me let alone a guy who is more than him?"

"You don't know what God's destiny will be like. Our life in this world is like riding on a ship. It's up to the captain to go down that path as long as it doesn't get us into danger. Insyallah when we get to the destination will increase experience and knowledge. Enjoy the journey that God has prepared in our lives, it will make us feel more grateful to Him."

Kana looked at Gino unblinking.

"Why look at me like that?" gino asked as if he understood Kana's strange gaze.

"You're a poet or an ustadz anyway? Very wise," Kana curled and chuckled.

Gino just shook his head and smiled seeing Kana was already starting to cheer up again.

"According to your request, I can be anything you want."

"Curtain, dreadlocks." Kana seemed to laugh crisply making Gino even happier to see the laughter on her sweet lips.

"Come inside!" Kana unconsciously holds Gino's hand and drags him to the table where his friends had eaten.

Gino glanced and smiled. They joined their friends back.

"Why did he turn cheerful? Strange," muttered Syahdu seeing Kana now starting to brighten again. His face was nothing like that which looked cloudy like the sky as if it was going to rain.

Wouldn't it be after the cloudy rain and after the sun subsides it will shine brightly again? That's what's happening to Kana right now. After his gloomy face fell tears and after his cry subsided now changed with a cheerful smile.

That is the flow of life sometimes sad sometimes happy depending on how much the current that drags us to a happy and suffering and how we behave towards something that happens including how big the people in the world beside us who participate in giving spirit to us.

Gino seemed to take the fruit ice and give it to Kana.

"Drink dessert first! You haven't had a chance to eat dessert, have you?" Gino thrust a glass filled with fruit ice in his hand.

"Don't let Gin drink alone let me take it myself."

"This is for you." Gino looked urgent. Kana's still shaking.

"Come on!" Finally Gino took the initiative to scoop the fruit ice and feed Kana. Kana increasingly shakes because it is not good for Syahdu.

"Let's open his mouth!" gino orders Kana again while giving the code to Wendi who is staring at him.

Kana looked at Syahdu, feeling bad for his best friend if like people make out with Gino even though Syahdu seems to have supported Kana with Gino compared to having to pursue Wendi who already has and not necessarily also like Kana. Kana does not want Syahdu hurt like she was.

"Come on!" Urge Gino again. It looks like Wendi is still looking at them like a person who is curious about what the two will do.

For not wanting to see Gino embarrassedly supported Syahdu who did not look at him and his heartache on Wendi forced Cana to open her mouth.

Hup.

Kana immediately chewed the fruit in her mouth now.

"There's no ice? It's hot weather I need a cold one" Kana asked Gino.

"Wait for me to add some ice cubes" Gino said as he picked up the ice cubes and put them in a glass of fruit. After stirring, he finally fed Kana again.

"How is it fresher?" asked Gino and Kana nodded while showing her thumb.

"Here let me now feed you." Kana immediately snatches the glass in Gino's hand and instead feeds the ice cubes into Gino's mouth and turns out there is a small piece of ice cubes that come into his spoon.

"Adu Kan coldly knows you want to make me freeze yes," protest Gino and Kana instead laugh crisply make Gino laugh while his friends are surprised to see the change in Kana's attitude is so significant. Wasn't he sad? Why is it so easy to turn into cheerful?
