The Rise Of A Princess

The Rise Of A Princess
Part 29 The magic river

"Hey-hey can you not be quiet?"

Then Rain and I looked up, looking at the source of the sound. Finding someone standing staring at us fiercely, he was Xin's grandfather. Rain and I grinned at each other and grabbed each other's arms.

"It's night, why haven't you guys slept? Or just sleep outside? Why even a fuss? What are you guys fussing about?" grandpa Xin asked in a row, making me awkward and embarrassed.

"I'm sorry our cake, this is all Rain's fault. She--"

"Hey why am I? You're du---"

"It is already! Sleep quickly!"

Grandpa Xin scolded me and Rain, and we apologized to her immediately because we had interrupted her sleep.

After Grandpa Xin left us, I glared back at Rain.

"It's all because of you! Huh!" I half whispered to Rain.

"Why me? I didn't get anything wrong either, huh!" Rain passed while sticking out his tongue as if it was hurting me again.

I rolled my eyes, of course I felt very annoyed at him. Why did he turn into a human being anyway? It sucks it to double! I want to punch her in that shitty face! I was so sorry I kicked something.

Duakhs!

"Aw! It hurts! It hurts!" I groaned in pain, and held onto my leg which had just kicked something.

Why today is causing once, especially plus Rain which is very very annoying! I stepped up limping while grumbling from today's misfortune.

I walked towards the bed and found Rain looking at me with a soft look. Huh! I want to hit him with a book!

"You why? Why is your path so?" rain asked astonished to see me.

I didn't answer Rain's question and my thump spilled over my body and slept on Rain's back.

"Don't talk much, go to bed quickly. If you keep talking, I'll kick you out" I said threatening Rain.

After Rain did not speak anymore, he finally listened to me as well.

I blinked because I felt glare with the sunlight coming through the window and hit my face. I stretched my entire body, looking towards the place where Rain slept. Empty, where's Rain? Tumben really woke up before me.

I got up from the bed and stepped into the bathroom, not forgetting to bring a change of clothes. I took it from the closet I saw yesterday.

After a few minutes of bathing, I felt my energy replenish. Indeed, because of yesterday's trip my body became all sick.

I stepped out, looking for Rain and grandfather Xin. Until I found them chatting together at the place yesterday. I don't know what they're talking about seems so exciting.

"Ehem! What are you guys talking about? It looks so good, doesn't it?" ask me and then sit on a piece of a tree.

Rain and Grandpa Xin looked at me with flat faces, why are they? How strange.

"Here, hurry up and eat and we'll practice right away" said grandfather Xin as he offered a sweet potato stew.

"What's? That fast?" I asked in wonder, then took the sweet potato stew that was offered by grandfather Xin and I ate it.

"You don't have much time, don't you have to hurry back to where you came from? And save the people you love? If you're late to go back there, then it could be that your loved ones have been killed" grandfather Xin said at length to make me think of them.

"Rain has already told me all about you," Grandfather Xin replied glancing at Rain at a glance and then looked back at me.

I looked down, imagining the faces of the people I loved there. How are they doing now, huh? Are you guys all right? Yeah I hope you're okay. It's all my fault, if I don't deal with that demon Zei, maybe now I can laugh happily with them.

"It's not time to regret something, it's not all your fault. You just got caught in Zei's trap, now you just have to try to get out of the trap" Rain calmed me down while stroking my hand and hugging me.

Rain, he sucks sometimes. But on the other hand, he also understands my feelings. I can't say anything right now. Rain's words were indeed true, I should try to get out of Zei's trap!

"Ekhem! Okay, let's get sad. Now follow me," said grandfather Xin and then moved from his seat.

Rain let go of her embrace and gestured for me to get excited.

I followed Grandpa Xin behind him, me and Rain walking in tandem while looking around. Many trees are towering, as well as the leaves are very green. It was cold, the sound of birds chirping. Beautiful butterflies fly here and there. Why is it so beautiful here that I feel a calmness I never felt before.

A few minutes into the forest, we reached the river. It is seen that this river is very different, because it is so clear that the rock inside the river looks very clear. But what surprised me was that the stones in this river were as colorful as jewels.

"Well! Why is this river different, the water is so clear!" Rain was amazed at the view of the river. So did I.

I turned to look at grandfather Xin who continued to stare at this river.

"We're going to practice here" said grandfather Xin suddenly, then crouched down to fetch the river water with his hands and drank.

"Why---"

"We're training here because of this river, and then this place is huge. It's perfect for you to practice," said grandfather Xin cutting off my words.

"What is so special about this river? Why are there so many stones like that gem?" I was amazed to see the river.

Grandfather Xin looked at me sharply, then he took out a stone from the river that was blue.

I crouched down and observed the stone that grandfather Xin was holding, looking very beautiful and the color was very sparkling blue.

"These stones are a source of energy, so this river can cure all low and very severe diseases. There are so many benefits, if you drink the water of this river just a drop, you will feel the change in yourself." Grandfather Xin explained at length, I had already guessed that this river was very extraordinary.

"That means the stones have power?" manya curious.

"Yes, you could say, try drinking this river water" said Xin's grandfather.

I stared at the river water, hesitating enough to drink it. But I try it first.

I took the river with my hand and drank it. Awah! What is this feeling? I became fresher and my thirst was gone. Miraculously, I even felt my energy increase. Is this a coincidence?

I turned my head towards grandfather Xin, I smiled happily. It is true what he said.

"It turns out grandpa Xin was right, this water is truly magical! I feel my energy is replenished!" I kept smiling happily.

Grandfather Xin simply nodded with a smile.

Byurs!

"Waaah! Help me!"
