The Rise of the Sword Expert

The Rise of the Sword Expert
Nobles' Basics

I was wearing my shirt when the wind blew and entered through the wide open window of the room.

Tanka shivered, but not with me.

I feel lucky because the arrangement of these muscles is like a brick blocking the wind through it. It's cold.

The blood vessels behind it work well, carrying blood from the heart throughout the body, binding oxygen well and warming my body. When I touched my chest, the blood vessels within it throbbed.

I buttoned my shirt.

"Dad, I managed to kill three ogres."

From the forest of Darkness Sunny informed me of his achievement today. He was a child who kept telling his parents.

"good. Have you eaten it?"

"Not yet, Dad."

"What about Levian?"

"Good, dad. He did his job well. Even the house for them to rest a little more is finished, Father."

"alright. You please enjoy your hunting, Sunny. Catch more."

"Good, Dad."

Our conversation was interrupted. Knowing everything was okay kept me calm.

After the clothes I was wearing were neat, I styled a little of my hair. Everything's ready, so I'm out now. As usual Tanka sat on my shoulder relaxed and hummed a little.

On my doorstep, I felt someone was standing behind it, so I was wary, as I opened it, Altair was shocked.

I greeted him, and closed the door as he slightly stepped out of my way out of my room.

"I'd like to take a morning walk with you, Mr. Akion."

"All right."

I accept it, my goal today is indeed to take a leisurely walk in the palace. Paying attention to all and maybe other nobles will see me curious.

"Are you sleeping well?"

"Yes" I replied casually, but his face doubted my answer.

We went down a slightly circular staircase, underneath which was a dark red carpet.

"What about you?"

He stopped on the stairs, looking at my back. Sound like a baby."

Oh that's sweet, did she stop to hide her shy face?

Then we walked again, seeing some servants busy carrying things in their hands. Behind them, I saw a knight I knew.

I glanced at Altair, she tried not to look at me nervously.

"Are you going to move to the western palace with me?"

She smiled awkwardly after I found out why all the servants were busy this morning.

"Better both than alone." His awkward smile still adorned his face.

I'm not angry, he shouldn't be afraid not to look at me. It's just that my heart felt bad because of that little act.

"Let's walk. Looks like I'll have to buy you again." I smiled mischievously at him.

I thought, she would reject him like yesterday, but she kept quiet and accepted it with her smile.

We arrived at the palace flower garden, very spacious, well-maintained, and also very lively. Flowers still bloom in cold temperatures. I think in the basement they planted Mana stones to keep the temperature.

"Aren't you the young Baron of Sanktessy?"

"For Viscount Ruvenan." I smiled warmly at him. It's no use reading the tome Bastian gave me.

Remembering their names when looking at their faces is a form of basic etiquette.

The family of Viscount Ruvenan was famous for their descendants who were great in state administration. Every one of their descendants must have worked in the governing body.

"You're so generous considering an old noble like me." he rubbed his beard as if to show it off to me.

"Who's the young man next to you?"

I looked at Altair, he immediately behaved respectfully and introduced himself.

"I am Altair Dena Elbram, the first son of Count Elbram, Viscount Ruvenan."

Viscount Ruvenan looked coldly, then he returned to his previous face.

"Send condolences to your father, Count Elbram, Altair."

He leaned over as if his sadness was real. After that ignore Altair back.

"Can we sit down and talk about business, Mr Akion?"

I looked at him coldly. My smile was still a little on my face. Viscount Ruvenan must have been told by the Emperor to be able to lobby me, bringing all the Mana stones into the palace.

"Sorry, Viscount Ruvenan, I can't right now as you can see, I'm having an appointment with Altair."

His face was disappointed and wanted to beg me, but I looked down at him and left him to look at himself.

If he needs me, why haven't he come to me since yesterday. Even they deliberately ignored me and gave me an ugly room.

"Is it okay to ignore Viscount Ruvenan, Mr Akion?"

Face worries.

"That's unnecessary worry, Altair."

He did not reply, only glancing towards Viscount Ruvenan earlier.

"Look at this kid worrying about you."

I smiled at Tanka's words. Our feet stepped quickly, several times I saw another noble in the other corner of the garden. They were chatting which seemed very exciting.

"Altair, don't you want to hang out with them?"

Altair shook his head, there were many nobles who had aged. However if Altair was able to establish a good connection with them, it would help him further develop the territory of Count Elbram.

"Isn't that young Baron Sanktessy, Akion Naal Sanktessy,"

A noble wearing a brown suit whispered to the others. They hurriedly saw me from a distance. Although I clearly see them, but I feel them. It was like a warning alarm to me.

The two nobles of the society approached me, casual footsteps full of intent.

"I've just seen you. Would you like to take a morning walk in the park, young Baron?"

The base makes me ticklish. Even Altair who had just come learned that I had arrived at the palace since two days ago.

"I really want to go for a walk with this kind friend of mine."

"Isn't he Count Elbram's son?"

"Yes, my name is Altair Denn Elbram, nice to meet you, Earl Woodsy."

"What if you join us. We'll be doing tea time in a minute."

It was Marquis Gallhant. A person who looked very firm, with a thin mustache under his nose. Even though he was over fifty, his body was still firm. Former leader of the Empire's war forces.

I looked at Altair, and responded to his humble request.
