CHAPTER 07 Estuary

Diamond tears do not stop dripping without cue after Malik's departure, he said, he did not expect the man who had been good to him and also always defended him when many a handful of people humbled him but now he was the same demeaning Diamond and made the heart of Diamonds broken into pieces does not exist again who will defend himself besides aunt Ami. 

"Well this is my life that I have to live with my head held high even without the person who will defend myself when many people are condescending" murmured Diamond. 

Aunt Ami who had heard the conversation Malik and Diamond were sad, what had been feared by him finally happened, when Diamond had entered the house immediately Aunt Ami immediately hugged her nephew and made Diamond wonder, then Diamond took off her embrace from her aunt. 

"What's wrong with aunt?" 

"Auntie is afraid you feel sad about what Malik said" said Aunt Ami while staring at Diamond. 

"No, I don't feel sad, aunt calm down for what I have to be sad, I just realized when there is someone good in front of us not necessarily when behind us" said Berlian who went straight into his room and came out again while wearing a sweater and also carrying a small bag that he wore on his right shoulder. 

"Bi I want to meet with Sabila, I say goodbye first" Berlian said before Aunt Ami asked and shook hands and kissed the back of her aunt's hand. 

Sabila Berlian friend who has a beautiful face and works as a teacher is one of Diamond's friends who understand how the life lived Diamond there is no secret between the two they understand each other with the other others until the friendship since sitting in the elementary class seat continues until now when both of them turn twenty-five years old. 

"Assalamualaikum" said Diamond while knocking on the door of a simple house inhabited by Sabila, and immediately got an answer from inside the house. 

"Oh Diamond deck please enter Sabila is in her room" said the middle-aged mother of Sabila as she opened the door and smiled kindly to Diamond revealing her beautiful face at her age who was not young anymore and did not forget Diamond shaking hands while kissing the back of her hand from Sabila. 

"Dek Lian didn't work tonight when Tumben came here?" asked Ms. Leli who immediately got an answer with Diamond shaking her head. 

"Aunt me to Sabila's room first yes" said Berlian who immediately stepped foot into Sabila's room. 

"It's so busy for this teacher" said Berlian, raising his head behind the door. 

"There must be something important that made my best friend come here without informing me first"

"I will get married in two days" said Berlian while bowing lethargic which made Sabila look directly at her best friend. 

"I didn't mishear that fast Malik wanted to make you his companion" 

"Malik" said Diamond who immediately stared at Sabila while raising both eyebrows.

"Yes Malik who else is the man you love besides Malik" said Sabila with a happy smile while cupping Diamond's face. 

The diamond breathed violently and went from Sabila's bed to Sabila's window and stared out as the rain fell on the earth and the rain flowed towards the estuary but not with Diamond finding an estuary for his heart because the man Diamond had always loved had hurt his heart. 

"I will not marry Malik" said Diamond who immediately made Sabila approach him and turned Diamond's body facing towards him. 

"Did I not hear wrong with what you said?" 

"Not that's the fact." Diamond said briefly and immediately told me everything that happened today including Malik's words to him and made Sabila feel concerned about her best friend then hugged Diamond and calmed her down. 

"I know humans can change, hopefully your future husband can change as time passes and remember to marry only once in a lifetime, I will always be with you" sabila's advice to her poor friend. 

"Thank you" said Diamond briefly as he laid his body on Sabila's bed.
