Mondy drove the car at full speed. Right now all he was thinking about was how to quickly get home safely. However, when their car crossed the red light, it turned out that the person who used to follow them was now not chasing them anymore.

“Why is he straight? Why not follow us?” asked Mondy while watching the back of his car through the rearview mirror.

Keyla also looked back, and there was nothing suspicious because the road was quiet. The woman pursed her lips, upset that Mondy had lied to her. “What the hell, must be a lie deh.”

“Om Mondy, lying is a sin,” said Gabriel who sat quietly in Keyla's lap.
