The Calming Rain

Brianna was still lying on her bed because Jesslyn's gaze seemed like it would beat her if she moved from there.

" Thank you Jess ..." said Brianna.

" Don't think of seducing me you won't be able to get out of there." Jesslyn said.

" Hey.I'm serious Jess I'm not seducing you.." said Brianna.

" Then why are you saying thank you I can't even help you." Jesslyn said.

" Did you think I was too panicked to the point of being blind I also realized while chasing after the shadow that a big mess was going on here." Brianna said.

" I just calm them down Brianna because I know I can at least do that little thing for you." Jesslyn said.

Slowly things really have returned to how they were but Brianna has not returned this makes Jesslyn very worried.

And all of a sudden there's people telling him Brianna's back .

He rushes to see her and Jesslyn is shocked to see her friend in a man's arms and Brianna looks not okay.

In an inn room at the end of town a man was drowning in his daydream.

" I have to get closer to her in order to take care of her..."

Inner Michael.

Michael is increasingly convinced he must protect Brianna because of Budi's debt also because of his feelings.

After a long break Brianna awoke from her sleep. He saw his friend sleeping in the chair.

* You're stubborn why you fell asleep in the chair * Brianna said in her heart while looking at Jesslyn .

Brianna opened the cupboard and pulled out a blanket to cover Jesslyn as the rain made the air even colder.

After enveloping Jesslyn Brianna walked towards the balcony and opened the glass door and headed towards the balcony.

The rain slowly drenched the slender body but Brianna just walked out and was completely in the rain.

Brianna was soaking wet for a long time but she still enjoyed the rain like she did not feel the bone-chilling cold.

Jesslyn opened her eyes and was surprised to see the empty bed .

" God!! Where Brianna can't sleep peacefully is this a disease." Jesslyn said.

As Jesslyn circled her gaze she saw the balcony door open and a cold wind blowing from the balcony.

And she was even more shocked that a woman was standing in a white nightgown soaked in rain.

" Are you crazy !!! Why are you standing there Brianna.." Jesslyn panicked.

" Hey, why did you wake up Jess, just look at the rain so beautifully." Brianna said.

" It turns out you're really crazy." Jesslyn said.

" I'm not crazy I just love Jess' rain because the sound and cold make me calm." Brianna said.

" That's why I say you're crazy because of which there are people who are hurt inside but instead stand still in the rain and from your body temperature you must have been soaked for a long time...." jesslyn.

" I'd better have Jess calm down.I'm not that weak .." said Brianna.

" Yes, I know, but any strong person can be cold.." Jesslyn said.

" Ha ha ha you're right I'm cold but the rain makes me calm." Brianna said.

" I know that responsibility is very heavy and all these circumstances must be causing you so much anxiety." Jesslyn said.

Brianna simply responded to Jesslyn's words with a smile that made Jesslyn even sadder at how hard her best friend's life was.

" Hey even if you say I'm crazy, but it seems like I've managed to drive you crazy, too." Brianna said.

" What do you mean ..." Jesslyn said.

" You're also with me in the rain." said Brianna.

" Yes you're a real bitch come on in.." Jesslyn said.

" All right let's go in ..." said Brianna.

They went in and cleaned themselves and changed their clothes. After that they drank warm tea and accompanied by some snacks and books.

" Brianna why do you like the rain so much is there any reason other than to calm you down....?" ask Jesslyn.

Brianna turned to look at Jesslyn from the book she was reading.

" Of course there is because the rain teaches us to value ourselves." Brianna replied.

" Hemm I seem to understand like rain is still doing the task of wetting the soil even though it cannot be all at once in all places." said Jesslyn.

" Yes you're right and also because the rain is like you, it makes me calm even though you often humble yourself for no reason." Brianna said.

" Yes you're right now I know why you can be so strong and I also realize I'm too eager to be strong until sometimes I forget that we have our own limits, I just want to help you." Jesslyn said.

" You've done it Jess I'm so grateful for that. I'm not strong I'm just trying my best Jess and I'm going to try to do better." Brianna said.

" Yes I know that and I will try to always be by your side." Jesslyn said.

" Thanks Jess I really appreciate her." Brianna said.

Jesslyn nodded slightly and smiled as they fell silent Brianna was busy reading her father's old book while Jesslyn was busy with her thoughts.

They were back in their minds.
