CHAPTER 69

As he opened his eyes, his ears buzzed loudly. His head hurt as if it was about to break. Grinding with difficulty, Abraham forced his eyes to open.

Faintly Abraham looked, a big bathtub in front of him. Instantly, he was surprised. Trying to get up, he was shocked by the presence of Jun lying next to him. With the whole torn clothes and disheveled appearance.

Like a fast-moving photo slide, the memory after memory he had forgotten hit him hard.

Abraham's heart melted, he trembled with great guilt.

"What have I done?!" muttered.

For a while Abraham simply pecked, drowning in regret.

He regrets touching a woman other than his wife and regrets having hurt Jun who was so kind to him.

"No.." said Abraham.

He made a terrible mistake with his wife's friend. Even if he does it unconsciously, a mistake is still a mistake. To him, there was no excuse for that!!!

Seeing the terrible state of June, he was sure that the woman also suffered greatly.

Gently, he lifted Jun's body. The woman's body was cold as if it was frozen. How long have they been lying on the bathroom floor?!

He was confused to think about June's reaction when he woke up later.

Slowly, Abraham approached him.

"Ju-june." stuttered Abraham called him.

Seeing the figure of Abraham in front of him, Jun was shocked beyond measure. As if Abraham was the beast that was about to pounce on him, Jun crossed over to the end of the sofa. He was shaking so much.

Seeing June like that, Abraham's heart was broken. He really feels guilty.

"June.. I'm sorry! I'm really sorry!!" said Abraham. Her tears are shed.

June was silent, staring at Abraham blankly.

"June, I. I..." Abraham could not speak. He suddenly blanked when he saw June's tears melt.

"I'm really sorry.I'm sorry.." for a few minutes, Abraham could only say a soft apology. June did the same, June just cried and cried.

"I know." said June, she trembled. Trying to stay calm, he squeezed his fingers until they felt numb. "It wasn't your fault. Zeline gave you medicine, right!?"

"That's not your wish, so it's not your fault!! It's a disaster for both of us!" june said with trembling lips. "You-you don't have to think about it! Forget everything!!"

Abraham jerks. I can't believe what he heard.

"No!!" reject Abraham later, "Error is still a mistake, whether done intentionally or not! It remains a wound for you who are victims. I can't pretend nothing happened and forget it!!"

Abraham was a straight man. If he makes a mistake, he has to take responsibility. It is impossible to pretend that nothing happened. All his life, he would suffer from guilt.

June shook her head, "If it's a mistake. I made a mistake too!!"
