The Seed You Threw

The Seed You Threw
Chapter 17

With tears in her eyes, Kiran accompanied her son to a meal. Not only the meat that he brought, there were other foods that he brought. It was his ration of food while working in the hotel, for the sake of his beloved son he was willing to endure hunger.

"Now, eat a lot." Kiran offered some food, there was rice, bread, sweets, also fruits.

Krish smiled, not in vain he waited a long time. Disappointed because the meat is small, but treated with other foods.

"It's so good, Mommy." Krish ate with gourmand.

"Yes, eat it" Kiran said.

"Why doesn't Mommy eat? Mommy must have eaten a lot there," Krish guessed.

The answer is certainly no, Kiran endured hunger just for the sake of her son's satisfaction. All his rations he brought home and gave to, Krish.

"Yes, Mommy ate. That's all for you, Mommy to the back first."

In the kitchen, he stuffed his stomach with a piece of bread that was still left this morning. Kiran ate it voraciously, then drank it very much so that the fullness was more pronounced.

He saw a pile of clothes that had not been ironed, and it would be taken by the owner tomorrow morning. With all the energy left, he returned to work. Kiran warms up and tells Krish to go to bed when he has finished eating.

"Krish, get out of bed and don't forget to wash your hands" Kiran shouted from the next room.

"Yes, Mom. I'm not done yet" Krish said.

The boy finished all the food, his stomach became distended from eating so much, then drowsiness began to attack when his stomach felt full. Krish is happy tonight because he can eat good food. I don't know when he's going to enjoy the food again.

Kiran tidied up the clothes that had been finished in the iron. He stretched the muscles because his job tonight was done. He washed his face first, then changed his clothes and after that followed his son who was asleep.

Stared at his tiny face and nose pointed it, then rubbed the head of his son who began to sweat. Seeing her son healthy, she was very happy.

"Krish," said Kiran. "Mommy can make you happy." He pecked the head of his son, and he also broke his tired body. Hopefully tomorrow will be better than today.

Next morning.

Kiran returned to her activities, not forgetting that she left Krish to Neha.

"Krish, Mommy works first. You don't be naughty." As usual he would warn his son to obey Neha.

"Yes, Mommy."

Krish sees the loss of his mother who has entered the bajaj. It was a means of transportation to his workplace.

"Krish," call one of her peers.

"Yes" the boy replied.

"Aunt Neha, I'm going with Rahul" cried Krish before leaving.

"Yes" answered Krish again.

Because that's the place where children play. However, Rahul did not invite Krish to play ball this time. The boy informed him that today there was a good food distribution event.

"Where, Rahul?" ask Krish. "I can't go far, Mommy forbid me to go" Krish said.

"Not far, Krish. We just have to get in line to get a good meal, I'll go there and you'll have to come" Rahul said.

"Yes, I'll come."

Krish and Rahul are already queuing up to get some good food. As Krish queues up, he sees the man who gave him a lot of money yesterday. The man was in the limelight, until Krish did not see the man again because he was obstructed by some people there.

"Rahul, why that guy?" ask Krish. He pointed towards Dev.

"No idea, who else did you see?" ask Rahul.

"That guy gave me a lot of money yesterday" Krish explained.

"Correct? Why were you given money?" ask Rahul.

Krish explains it, and Rahul is more interested in it than having to queue with a long queue.

"Krish, why don't we just go there? You can sing again and maybe he'll give you more money, let me hang out." Rahul pulls Krish's hand to get closer to Dev.

Krish falls down and complains, but he is grabbed by the adults who are asking for Dev's signature. Then, Dev sees the boy fall down and immediately approaches him. He smiled as he looked at the boy, the boy who sang yesterday.

Dev was more interested in the boy and immediately grabbed his body. And the crowd got out of the way, amazed that Dev was such a good person. He cares for poor people like Krish.

"You okay?" ask Dev. Krish shook his head in response. "What are you doing here?" ask Dev.

"We're queuing up there, sir." Show Rahul. "But we're more interested in meeting, sir," he continued. "Sir, the singer, right?" tanyanya.

Dev smiled because the boy recognized him, but why didn't the boy next to him recognize him?

"You know me?" ask Dev.

"Yes" answered Rahul.

"You know him?" krish then asked Rahul.

"Yes, don't you know him? Oh yeah, I forgot. You don't have a tv, so how do you know who he is?" Rahul laughs at Krish for being a poor man who has nothing. "He's Devgan, Krish. That famous singer, even your mommy used to listen to that song from your butut radio." Rahul was back laughing.

Krish also became sad because it often became a material teasing. No sincere friend made him a friend, even Rahul who he thought was good laughed at him.
