The Shackles of Love of the Substitute Woman

Vina was lying in a hospital bed, several doctors who were nurses were surrounding her but her eyes were still looking for the figure of the husband she loved, but not even her nose was visible.

With the pain that began to spread throughout his body, he felt a pain that was truly extraordinary. Vina was going to give birth normally but the woman chose to give birth cesarean on the grounds that the baby was born prematurely. But the fact that the baby was born in the 9th month, it was just an excuse for Luis's family not to be suspicious of him.

Slowly Vina's eyes began to close, the anesthetic given by the doctor began to show the effect.

Outside the room, the two old men of Vina were sitting with panicked and worried faces. They are still thinking about Vina's condition in the operating room, especially Luis can not be contacted.

"Mas, call Luis again. Vina must be waiting for her husband." Pinta Sinta to her husband.

"I've been trying to contact Luis but the man hasn't picked up at all the call from me" he replied with a face of despair.

"What now, Vina must be waiting for Luis. The man was not responsible to Vina, he even ignored his wife while she was giving birth" Sinta said with a feeling of annoyance and also disappointed in the attitude of her son-in-law.

"Of course, we can't blame Luis either. It's Vina's choice to marry Luis" said Vishnu, seeking to appease his wife.

"But Mas, Vina's our son. I as his mother feel hurt if my son is treated like that."

As the two were fighting with their mouths, the sound of footsteps could be heard echoing in the hospital hallway. The figure of a handsome man wrapped in a light blue shirt walked over to his two in-laws.

"Luis." said Sinta when he saw the figure of Luis coming.

"Thank God you came, Vina's running the operation. But the doctor said that you can also go in to see the state of Vina" Vishnu told his son-in-law.

But Luis' gaze seemed not interested at all with the news, he just stared coldly without a smile at all.

"I had no time to accompany Vina, for all the hospital fees I had paid for her and after the surgery she would be placed directly in the VIP room with good care," luis said with eyes fixed on his phone.

"What is your business more important than Vina's labor?" Ask Sinta who was ignited by emotion when she heard the words from her daughter-in-law.

"My business is very important and will make billions" Luis replied without any guilt at all.

"But your wife is giving birth, she is now risking her life to give birth to your child" Sinta said trying to resuscitate her daughter-in-law.

"Birth of a child is already the duty of a woman and it is my duty to make money to meet her needs. Especially Vina's very glamorous lifestyle, even she could spend hundreds of millions in one week. So I hope she's not spoiled, just giving birth should be accompanied."

"You're her husband, you're the one who's got to play a big part in taking care of Vina. She also needs your attention, especially when she is giving birth, she must be very waiting for your arrival" said Sinta who said that with a high tone.

A nurse came and immediately rebuked the three of them, "Sir, Mom. You better not be noisy, this is a hospital and I beg you to calm down and finish your private affairs outside the hospital."

"Okay" answered Luis.

Then the nurse left, and Luis looked back at his mother-in-law. "I have to go" said Luis, who walked away.

Eagerly wanting Sinta to grab her daughter-in-law's hair, she saw Luis' back start to drift away.

"Oh, let's sit down first."

Vishnu immediately led his wife to sit and wait until the delivery of Vina was completed, as they waited for Vina's in-laws to come with a panicked look.

"How's Vina doing? Why can she give birth at the age of the womb which is still not 9 months," said Maria because she knows if the age of the womb Vina is still 8 months but actually already 9 months.

"Maybe it's time and the baby has to be born prematurely" Sinta replied in a sad tone.

"Then where's Luis? Has he not come yet?" ask Maria who didn't see Luis.

Sinta slowly shook her head, "Luis has come but he immediately left because there is business," replied Sinta.

Hearing that Maria was very angry she did not expect that her son would leave Vina at the time the woman was giving birth.

"Steven, you see your son he even left his wife when she was giving birth. I'm sure this is the demeanor that was passed down from you" Mary told her husband.

"Why are you even cursing at me, you'd better shut up and sit down while we wait for the Doctor to come out of the ward," Steven persuaded with a hand that held both of Maria's shoulders and invited her to sit down.

Maria, who was still upset, took her cell phone to call Luis and tell him to come to the hospital.

"Luis, where are you?"

"I'm in the office."

"Hurry to the hospital, your wife is giving birth. Don't you have any thoughts until you leave your wife and prefer to go to the office!"

"I've paid for all Vina's treatment, after all she's just had a cesarean section and it won't put her life at risk."

"Who taught you to say that, even if it's just a cesarean but you as a husband should be next to Vina."

"I'm still busy, so I'm closing first."

"Luisne.. Luis.? Huh hello? Hello?"

Luis immediately turned off the call from his mother unilaterally, Maria who was upset could only return to call Luis but the man immediately turned off his cellphone.

"It's okay, Miss Maria. I'm sure what Luis did may have a reason and it could be that his work is very important" replied Vishnu with a friendly smile.

Now the four of them can only sit with worry and anxiety because the Doctor who performed the operation to Vina is still not out of the operating room.

Until suddenly the lights on the operating room door turned green which indicates the operation is complete.
