Chapter 43. Love is not condoned

His eyes quivered at the photo of a brown-haired girl, with a face similar to Nabila and Mark. The mixture between the two is in Aileen Sheravina Xavier.

"Toni! Find out who the girl is with Leonardo Xavier, if you need to dig deep about this girl and Leonardo Xavier!" tell Eric to his subordinates.

"Okay, sir, I'll get the information right away." Toni nods her head, goes somewhere and leaves Eric alone.

Eric's attention is fixed on the photo of Aileen who is known as the daughter of Leonardo Xavier. His chest rumbled, looking at the photo of the girl.

"Why do you look so much like Mark and that damn woman?" eric is confused.

Then it flashed through his head, an incident several years ago when Mark left his luxurious mansion for the sake of a servant's daughter.

23 Years ago, at the Arlando mansion.

Two young men walked while holding hands into the Orlando mansion. The woman looked troubled and frightened, but the man smiled and tried to calm her down.

"You take it easy Nabila, no matter what happens.we will always be together." said Mark while smiling and holding the hand of Nabila, a beautiful woman with long hair and brown eye beads, her clothes look simple but charming.

"All right, Mark." Nabila nodded her head.

The two of them entered a closed room, the room was a work room from Eric. The father of Mark Arlando, known as the leader of gangsters and the leader of a feeling group called Orlando.

Mark is the only son of Eric, meaning he is the heir who will continue his business later. But Mark rejected his papa's illicit efforts as a gangster in the black world, he only accepted the duties as the company's leader. Mark is not like his violent father, he has good qualities like his mother.

"You've come, Mark?" greet Eric as he smokes the smoke from his expensive cigar. The look in his eyes was so sharp on Mark, especially on Nabila. The daughter of a waitress at his house that Eric fired a variety of days ago.

"Yes pa, I'm coming home" Mark replied as he ventured to look at his creepy-looking papa. Even Mark still remembers how often the man tortured himself when he was a child until now.

His father is a strong man and difficult to resist.Whoever is guilty he must get indiscriminate punishment.

"Why are you coming home with this woman, huh?" asked Eric with such keen attention to Nabila. A month has passed since Mark left his mansion and here he is back with Nabila.

"From now on, Nabila and I will always be together" Mark said.

"What do you mean Mark?" asked Eric sharply.

"Me and Nabila, we're married Pah!" said the man firmly while holding the hand of the woman who had officially become his wife exactly 1 month ago.

"What did you say? Are you married to this JALANGG woman?" eric's voice was so high, when he saw the figure of the woman who had been recognized by his son as a wife. And that woman is none other than her daughter-in-law.

Eric spits on the floor, he doesn't want to have the daughter-in-law of a lowly servant. She was clearly against her son's marriage to the woman named Nabila.

"Curtain! Don't joke you Mark, papa never wanted to have a daughter-in-law like her! Papa told you that, didn't he? If you have to marry Armand's daughter!"

"Pa, me and Nabila are married. And papa must accept the fact that papa's determinant is Nabila."

"Fucking kid! How dare you defy papa's orders! Quickly divorce this lady and marry the Sahara!" shouted Eric firmly.

Yes, their love is not condoned because of the huge difference in social status. Mark is like a prince and Nabila is like someone with a low status. Eric who always attach importance to the good name of the family, of course he would not have a daughter-in-law like Nabila.

"No Pah! If Papa wants me to return to live in this house, then Papa must accept Nabila as the daughter-in-law of this family! If papa, do not want to accept Nabila..then I will not be the heir to papa's company!" mark said firmly.

One month stay in the luxurious mansion of Arlando surrounded by many guards and also servants. In fact, it does not make Nabila live happily, while her husband is not at home she is treated as a maid and when her husband is at home everyone pretends to be nice to her, as if nothing had happened. One day, the treatment of all dimension people against Nabila was revealed by Mark after his business trip.

Mark was so angry that his wife was treated like a maid, even worse than that. Finally Mark decided to take Nabila who was pregnant at that time, away from the Orlando mansion.

With great difficulty, Mark and his wife left the mansion. They fled abroad to start a new life. Even though their love is not sanctioned by Eric.

They live by a new name and identity in a modest house far from the city. Mark and Nabila are very happy, especially with the presence of their little daughter, Aileen.

But a situation requires Mark and Nabila to return to the country of Indonesia. The two of them along with Aileen went on a plane.

That's where they met Leon and his fiancee Giselle. Then there was a plane crash that killed Mark, Nabila and Giselle.

Afterwards Eric receives news that Mark, Nabila and his son were killed in a plane crash. Though Aileen's son is still alive in the care of Leon, his best friend and junior in school first.

"If it's true Mark and Nabila's son is alive and he's this kid, it's certain he's-"

When Eric was alone, Toni suddenly went into the room and brought documents about Leon and his daughter.

Eric looked at the document and repeatedly frowned. "Aileen is the son of Giselle and Leonard Xavier? Is this true? Why am I not sure? Did they enter their identities to cover up my granddaughter's identity?" eric was confused.

After reading the documents given by Toni, Eric orders his aide to keep an eye on Aileen and Leon. Although it is a bit difficult because Leon and Aileen also have a lot of bodyguards.

"Just keep an eye on it from a distance. If I can get something out of the girl's body, I want to test her DNA test." explains Eric Paga.

"Okay sir, I will order our men to watch over the girl and get her hair even if it's just a strand" Toni said.

That afternoon, in the middle room of the Xavier mansion. Aileen and Leon just got home from work. Both of them still looked tired, seeing Aileen tired. Leon tells Aileen to cancel the show they went out.

"Darling, are you tired?" leon asked as he rubbed Aileen's hair.

"A little reward."

"If you're tired, let's just delay the exit."

"ah! No pa! We'll keep going, pa, I'm not tired." Aileen shook her head, her lips pursed.

Seeing the girl's face, Leon couldn't bear it. "Are you really not tired?" ask again.

Aileen nodded her head. "No reward, I'm not cape. Let's take a walk after I get out of the hospital I'm just locked up in the house. I'm bored, pah." grumbled the girl with pursed lips.

"Well, Papa take a shower and get ready. You also take a break and get ready." Leon stroked Aileen's head gently.

The girl smiled then excitedly walked up the stairs leading to the second floor to her room. Leon saw the girl's departure with pleasure.

Then he called someone. "Hello.....is everything ready?........Yes I am Leonardo Xavier. I don't want any mistakes."

After talking to someone on the phone, Leon smiled. Then she went up to the second floor to clean up and get ready for her date.
