The Short Horror Story
Umpet, Jalangkung, & Ouija Board

Umpet Box

One afternoon, a group of children were playing hide-and-seek in a park in the middle of the city. One of the children, Rama, was chosen to be a "hider" in the first round. He ran small looking for a safe place to hide from the seekers.

Shortly after, the searchers started looking one by one for the hiding players. However, when it was Rama's turn to be found, he was not found in his hiding place. Everyone looked left and right, but Rama was never found.

The next day, news of the missing Rama spread throughout the city. Police and volunteers are trying to find her presence all over the city. However, no sign of Rama was found.

That night, a mother who was washing clothes in her yard saw something terrible. He saw the ghost of a headless little boy walking slowly towards him, and he was surprised to see that it was Rama. The little boy's ghost showed his head hanging in his hand and shouted in a terrifying voice, "I won, I won!"

The mother screamed in fear and ran into the house. His neighbors came to see what was happening and saw the ghost of the little boy, but when they tried to approach him, the ghost disappeared.

Rama was never found and until now, some say that he fell victim to the ghost of a headless little boy in a cemetery adjacent to the park. People passing by at night said they could hear the sound of children's laughter echoing around the cemetery, and some say that the ghost of a headless little boy is still wandering around the park.

Jalangkungs

The atmosphere of the day was very quiet and dark at the school. All the students have gone home, only a few teachers are still finishing their work. But then, a pupil returns to school to search for the book he left in the classroom. He went to his classroom and found some friends playing in the classroom.

The student immediately joined his friends and they played the jalangkung together. However, while they were playing, suddenly the lights in the classroom were off. They felt scared and wanted to get out of the classroom immediately, but the door was locked from the outside.

They panicked and kept screaming for help. After a while, the door finally opened and a teacher came to help them out. However, they realize that one of their friends is invisible.

Until finally, one of the students found a message in his friend's lost notebook, that they should not play kangkung at the school because there are subtle creatures that roam there.

After that, no one else dared to play the dragonfly at that school and the story became a legend among students and teachers at that school.

Ouija Boards

This is the story of a student who committed suicide by playing ouija board at his school. Her name was Rika, and she was very interested in mystical things. One day, he and a group of his classmates decide to try playing ouija board in the extracurricular club room at their school.

As they started playing, Rika felt something was strange. He felt an odd presence around him, like someone was watching him from the corner of the room. However, he ignored his feelings and continued playing.

In accordance with the rules of playing ouija board, they begin to summon spirits that may be around them. After a while, they felt a sinister presence. At first, they thought of it as a joke, but the longer it got the more serious and terrible it became.

Rika who is most interested in this begins to feel like she is engaging in a disturbing conversation with an unknown spirit. The next day, when Rika does not come to school, her friends start to feel worried. They go to Rika's house to look for her, but find nothing.

A few days later, police found Rika's body hanging from a tree in the woods near the school. There is a note left nearby, which reveals that she felt disturbed by the evil spirits she had summoned during the ouija board play. He felt that there was no way out other than suicide.

Since the incident, the extracurricular clubroom at their school has been closed and is no longer in use. Many students feel frightened and uncomfortable around the area, especially at night. They regard the place as a haunted place and always avoid it.
