The Sky Tower Ruler

The Sky Tower Ruler
Episode 18's

Arriving at the fourth floor, Gu Lang headed straight to the middle of the altar to undergo the fourth exam.

Gu Lang was shocked as the altar floor disappeared, leaving only one place for him to stand and one place in the middle of the altar that seemed to be a gift, if he escaped this test.

He was confused as to what he should do, did he have to jump all the way to the middle there?

But it seemed impossible, it was so far away to pass even if he used cloud steps though.

Until a voice sounded again.

"Luck is also power. The journey of a cultivator reaching the peak, did not escape luck. Try your luck."

At that instant, in Gu Lang's hands appeared a dice the size of his head, "So my fate and my life will be determined by this dice?"

Not wanting to take a headache, Gu Lang threw the dice and waited for the numbers to come out.

The dice stopped and displayed the number three, instantly appearing three plots of floors in front of Gu Lang.

He took a step forward step by step, and upon arriving at the third square was a blue-coloured light emitting from the floor, leaving him a little surprised.

And at that instant, a robe appeared before him, which seemed to be a protective robe.

"It's pretty good, it's my first good luck." Gu Lang said, "Let's continue the game." Gu Lang again threw the dice and showed the number one.

Gu Lang took one step forward and now it was no longer blue light but golden light. A ring fell before him.

"Ring space?" Gu Lang took the ring and put it on.

At least he could store all his belongings into that ring. After saving all his belongings to the space ring, Gu Lang rolled the dice again and showed the number six.

Now it was no longer blue or golden light, but a dark gray light until flames appeared and began to burn his body.

The fire was not as red as fire in general, but was pitch-black and felt even more terrifying.

"Aarrrgh!"

Gu Lang screamed in pain, as he felt his skin peel off and his flesh as if it was charred toast. But the truth is his body is still fine.

For a few minutes he endured the mad torture, until the moment the fire disappeared and Gu Lang's body fell down with a gasp of breath.

"It seems like the soul forging spell is useful again, and my body feels stronger." Gu Lang muttered, "The misfortune that became a fortune, is really unexpected." Gu Lang smiled.

Now he understood why so many cultivators had died in this tower, just like what was written inside the scroll that Gu Lang had found.

If they are not people who are from the same place as the original owner of the scroll, then, then they would not obtain a soul-forging spell that could protect them from the many trials in the nine-level tower.

"The body of the Wajra and the Soul of the God, is truly a powerful body soul forging spell." Gu Lang took back his chest, and threw the thing.

Until the dice stop spinning and show the number two. After that, two plots of floors appeared and Gu Lang stepped forward with a cautious heart.

Maybe so far, he still continues to be lucky, but isn't there a time when someone will experience misfortune?

Then what if it happened to him after this, would he die like a cultivator who had already entered this tower.

This time a white colored light appeared, seeing the bright color of the light Gu Lang could breathe a sigh of relief.

Shortly after the light appeared, a voice echoed throughout the room.

"Water flows following the current. The air blows according to its rhythm. The creature moves to follow his heart. But they don't realize that what they're doing is already outlined."

Gu Lang pensively heard those words. What did those words mean, was he asked to look for the meaning of those words.

But what did he mean, Gu Lang thought hard and tried to find the answer.

"Water flows following the current. The air blows according to its rhythm. The creature moves to follow his heart. But they don't realize that what they're doing is already outlined."

Gu Lang recalled those words back to find the right answer, until he seemed to find an answer that he believed to be true.

"Destiny!" Gu Lang replied confidently.

"Why destiny?" The voice asked back.

"Destiny is invisible, destiny cannot be touched. We do whatever we want, but actually it's all been outlined by the fate line."

Suddenly the road in front of Gu Lang continued to appear until it reached the middle of the altar.

Gu Lang was slightly surprised to see it, what might be the reward of the question just now was to directly reach the end point.

In other words, he escaped through the express lane, because Gu Lang was still the remaining half.

He's only halfway through, but now he's got that much luck.

"It looks like it's a jackpot, right?"

Gu Lang who then immediately stepped towards the middle of the altar, where there was a stone coaster with a dragon head and something on it.

The fourth exam had already passed Gu Lang, there were still five more exams left and he could save Xiao San like his original goal.

And all the things he got from this tower, for him, were just a bonus.

Right now Gu Lang was already standing right in front of that dragon-headed stone slat, and saw something on it.

That thing was, a plaque made of jade. Jade with a dragon carving and inscribed with a sky tower, which I don't know what it means.

"A plaque? But what is the use of this plaque? Sky tower, is that the real name of this nine-level tower?"

Gu Lang who did not want to waste any time immediately put the jade into his spatial ring, ignoring the question after question that still haunted his mind.

He immediately stepped onto the stairs to get to the fifth floor, where he would receive his fifth exam.

Arriving at the center of the altar, Gu Lang's body suddenly collapsed and fell unconscious.

Gu Lang blinked his eyes slowly. His body was now lying on a large bed, but something surprised him.

He looked around him, there were many beautiful women in clothes that were so open and certainly invited the lust of the men who saw him.
