The Smile You Gave Me

The Smile You Gave Me
Chapter 8 ~ Gives You The Most Wide Smile

The XI-A class.

Devan is reading his book seriously. The young man seemed to not care about his friends who chatted with each other to miss after a long time did not meet, he was like immersed in his own world. His friends were not surprised, because Devan was the general rank of their generation. So it was only natural that the young man was a bit quiet and reserved.

Actually he really wants to mingle with his friends, but he does not want his ugliness to be exposed. It has been difficult for him to create an extraordinary image in school and at home, he could have destroyed by accident if too free to express himself. Therefore he was always careful and only friendly with Boy and Gabriel who clearly already knew the originals himself.

Among the busyness of the class students, almost all eyes were turned when two handsome students entered there. Each one boasted a lollipop and looked indifferent but it was precisely that scene that attracted a lot of attention. Those who share with them also choose to retreat, not looking for trouble then better.

"Woi, the imaging man," Boy whispered suddenly right in Devan's ear.

"Damn you. Don't be so loud!" reply Devan whispered back. Gabriel sat quietly at Devan's back table.

Boy chuckles, laughs at the friend's life full of falsehoods. The young man was not afraid even though Devan kept looking at him sharply.

"Why? Want candy?" boy asked, the little laugh still did not subside on his face. The young man throws a lollipop that Devan immediately catches.

"Aren't you going to skip?" devan asked as he opened the lollipop and put it in his mouth.

"At first it was. But how else? In the middle of the road I met an angel. The angel pulled me to school and asked me to be a good boy."

For a moment Devan nodded, but upon realizing his face turned cynical. "Chey, you're so much better," he chuckled while laughing witfully.

Boy did not rub, the man turned his body and faced Gabriel. "Bray, I already know your sister's name" he said as he lowered his eyebrows.

Gabriel looked at him sharply. "If you dare to mess around, I won't stay silent even if you're my friend" threatened Briel to make Boy put on a scared face, but instantly turned witty.

"Oh? Turns out you're very considerate of your little sister, aren't you?" ledek Boy, but Gabriel chose to flinch.

"Haha, don't put on a face like that, Bray. Let's go back to class, this class doesn't suit us" Boy said at last and pulled Gabriel's hand.

"See you, exemplary student" said the young man, winking one eye. Devan also put on an annoyed face, especially the eyes of the class are now on him.

"Hem." The man cleared his throat, tried to neutralize the situation and went back to reading his book seriously. The only thing that astonished Devan's classmates was that Devan, an exemplary student, could befriend two delinquents from the worst class, even though they were from prestigious families. Not only did they know who was the most dilapidated among the three of them.

Grade XI-9.

Classes are far from quiet. How not? Early in the morning the students were already noisily, shouts were heard here and there welcoming the arrival of Boy and Gabriel.

"Boy, we meet again" cried a student who immediately cheered his friends. Boy chuckled, then blinked one eye at the girl.

"Akkhhh," cried the girl in joy after getting the wink of death. Instantly the class grew more and more excited.

While Gabriel rolled his eyes lazily, how could he believe a man like Boy would be serious with his sister? Therefore he will not let the man approach Amanda even though Boy is his best friend.

Boy also did not care about the girl's scream, the young man walked casually towards the back bench which was deliberately emptied for him.

"Briel, here!" he said while pushing back his index finger and smiling widely.

Gabriel was lazily sitting next to him because the bench was already filled.

"Ei, don't you want to tell me a little bit about your sister?" boy said when Gabriel just landed his ass on the chair.

"Hey, didn't you hear me ask what?" Boy asked worriedly, Gabriel thought it was nothing. The man was busy himself.

"I won't talk about anything related to my family especially to you."

"Ck, you ...."

"All quiet!" A loud echoing voice managed to break all the commotion within that class. Including Boy who still wants to protest with his best friend and sister of his prospective lover.

All the students who had previously scattered now flocked back to their respective benches. The class starts with the teacher's friendliness. About their class which is super noisier, their class which is considered one eye and so on. Not to forget also the homeroom teacher gave encouragement so that his students can prove themselves.

"You know? Your voice has even been heard from under the stairs. While the class located below your class is class X-1. You clearly know what class it is. I hope you can set a good example for your brothers ...."

The speech of the homeroom teacher is still long but only one sentence makes the drowsiness of Boy disappear.

...

The first day of school passed. Amanda walked out of her class with a little limp. It was not so painful, but now it hurts so much but he also does not know how to respond to the pain.

"Amanda," cried Feli who immediately patted the back of the friend to make Amanda almost fell if Boy did not immediately hold it.

"Eh, be careful" said the young man with perfectly curved lips. Amanda looked up, then stared at Boy flatly as usual.

"Well, almost a month we didn't meet you changed a lot huh. You even have new friends now." Feli put on a bent face. They feel jealous of their closeness.

Amanda shook her head, then took off Boy's hand which was still holding his arm. "He's not my friend, he's my brother's friend."

"Yes, I'm not his friend. But his future girlfriend" Boy added with a face full of confidence. Amanda wants to retaliate but Feli stops her.

The girl narrowed her eyes, looking at the face of the friend who was always expressionless. Then turned to look at Boy who gave him a beautiful wide smile.

"Ck, tsk, tsk. Seen however I won't let my innocent best friend be toyed with by you," said Feli staring at Boy sharply, the girl even immediately pulled Amanda's hand to hide behind him.

"What do you mean?"

"Don't you think I'm a new student so I don't know anything about this school. Hoho, you're wrong Boy Listio Laurent aka Bad Boy. Your name has ruined the reputation of this school. Too bad your father's chairman of the foundation, otherwise you might have been kicked out of here a long time ago."

"You!"

"Come Amanda! Don't listen to him!" Feli pulls Amanda's hand, but Amanda's still sore leg makes the girl can't walk fast.

Boy realized that, he then chased after them and took off the pull of Feli. "You're crazy, his leg's hurt!" snapped Boy unconsciously but managed to resuscitate Feli.

"Oh, Amanda. You're not papa?" ask Feli to panic. While Amanda shook her head.

"I'll take her home!" said Boy who without many words immediately pulled Amanda into the elevator that happened to open.

"Eh, what are you doing?" pekik Feli who also pursued their steps.

"Get out!" boy's word was undeniable to the students who were inside that elevator. Without anyone daring to argue, they flocked out and blocked Feli who wanted to come in.

"Damn," the girl growled as the elevator doors closed. The girl pressed the elevator button with a very upset face. Not wanting to wait for long, he turned around and ran towards the stairs.

While in the elevator Amanda looked at Boy. Boy returned that look with a smile. He knew Amanda would be upset with him. But why doesn't this girl's face show any feelings?"

"Why ask them to come out?" ask Amanda.

"Your leg hurts, what if someone accidentally nudges."

"Although you're the son of the chairman of the foundation, you shouldn't do such a thing. This elevator is for the public, the rights of all school residents. So you can't monopolize like this."

"Sstt, why are you so chatty with such a flat face?"

Amanda lowered her head, whenever anyone protested with her flat expression, she somehow felt uneasy.

"I've never even seen you smile" Boy continued, still staring at Amanda.

"Don't you not be able to smile?"

Amanda shook her head, looked up at Boy at a glance and turned the other way. As if confirming the young man's guess.

"Well, I didn't think. Though I'm sure you'll be even more beautiful if you can smile."

Still, Amanda did not answer.

"Hey, look at me!" Boy took the position where Amanda was staring.

"No papa you can't smile. I'll give it to her. The widest smile." said the man staring fixedly and in both irises of hazel eyes.
