Chapter 14 Meeting Yamato

In the underground Konoha village, there is a dark organization called Root! Konoha was bathed in sunlight, while Root struggled in the darkness, and in this darkness, there was a man who controlled this darkness. That man is Danzo!

Danzo appears as a frail old man, who usually walks with a cane. He had black and disheveled hair, and his right eye was bandaged. Danzo has an x-shaped scar on her chin. He was wearing a white shirt, with a dark black or gray robe on it covering from his feet, until it passed his right shoulder. The robe covered his bandaged right arm.

Danzo stood next to several Root shinobi, and they all lowered their heads while waiting for Danzo's orders.

After a long time, Danzo started talking saying: “Some of you should know that tomorrow Sandaime will go to Daimyo's place to make himself Hokage again. We need to kill him because the Village is gradually getting weaker in his hands!”

"Yes, Danzo-sama!" All the shinobi then answered in unison, they were like a bunch of mindless puppets, even when told to kill the Hokage, they remained calm.

Hokage Office

Kakashi now faces Sandaime Hokage, Hiruzen Sarutobi!

“Kakashi, tomorrow I will go to Daimyo's place to reapply myself as Hokage so that I can handle Konoha's affairs. I hope you can lead some Anbu members to escort me.”

Kakashi, feeling remembered something after hearing this and thought of something. “Isn't it time for Danzo to try and kill Sandaime? Why doesn't he try to recruit me like the original?”

Seeing Kakashi still silent, Sandaime inevitably asked: “What happened to Kakashi? Is there a problem?"

“No, it's nothing Sandaime-sama. It is important for you to take back the position of Hokage. But I'm worried along the way you might be attacked. I think it's better for us to split up. I will walk through the usual road to the place of Daimyo, while Sandaime-same will go through another road. With that, even when attacked, you will not be late to meet with Daimyo.”

Kakashi thought of his plan. Otherwise, if something really happened to Sandaime, the plot would be chaotic.

“Any, why didn't Danzo come looking for me?” Kakashi felt a bit strange. According to the original work, Danzo had to try to find him. Why isn't he coming now?

Sandaime then said with a smile: “Of course. Konoha still needs a younger generation like you. In the future, this Konoha village needs to be supported by you.”

Sandaime's statement made Kakashi feel a heavy burden on his shoulders, but he also felt somewhat happy.
