Ch. 6 | Room Secrets

Moving into a room located under the ruins of the Sakti Boxing Sect, Lin Chen who was sitting restored his strength.

"I'm finally fully recovered, fortunately I had the chance to take this token on Zu Dong's body otherwise I might have died by now." Lin Chen started to stand up and looked around which was filled with gold coins.

Lin Chen who saw the large number of gold coins instantly inserted them into the space ring. After he took all the gold coins that Lin Chen started to enter the door that was in front of him, and what he found was a pile of swords and a throne. Lin Chen sensed that all the swords contained qi and recalled what his teacher said 3 years ago, if he could absorb any item as long as it contained qi.

Lin Chen who was looking at this room had an enormous qi aura, without a second thought Lin Chen started cultivating while absorbing all the qi present in the sword to increase his strength.

1 month passed Lin Chen managed to level up to the Qi Forging Realm stage 4, and his aura as a demon grew sharper. Lin Chen realized that he was now in human-owned territory, he would no longer use his demonic blood unless in a desperate state.

After cultivating for a month Lin Chen wanted to return to his village to meet his family's grave.

After arriving at his village he went to the graves of his parents and his sister and began to put a flower.

"Dad, mother, Lin Ran forgive me, ak-I can't protect you guys." Said Lin Chen whose tears slowly came out while bowed looking at his family tomb.

Not wanting to be eaten to the grief Lin Chen stood up and started vowing to become the strongest in this world.

And as Lin Chen's journey continued, his next goal was to go to Baiqing Empire before Lin Chen came to Gu Du to ask him to make a mask that could cover his dark qi.

When Lin Chen arrived at Gu Du's house he saw him forging a sword.

"Hey Gu Du's." Said Lin Chen.

"Lin Chen? Ahaha! You finally came to my place, so what do you need?"

"I need a mask that can cover my dark qi" said Lin Chen.

"Mask? Well, if that's all maybe half a day your mask will be."

Gu Du also began to make the mask it did not take long the mask was so.

"Here's your mask." Gu Du gave the fox-like mask to Lin Chen.

"Very good, thank you Gu Du." Said Lin Chen while wearing that mask and left Gu Du.

Because the Baiqing Empire was so far away Lin Chen's journey was filled with many obstacles. Sometimes he encountered powerful monsters killing him then eating him, he also often stopped to rest and cultivate, this he did repeatedly which made Lin Chen in the Qi Forging realm of stage 6.

After a long journey Lin Chen finally reached Baiqing Empire but to enter he needed an identity, Lin Chen who had no identity was confused and started acting as a dying person.

A horse carriage passed by and saw Lin Chen who was lying down with fake blood on his body.

"Sorry young lady, I'm going to get this guy out of our way." Said one of their soldiers and slowly got off the carriage.

"It looks like he's alive, we should take him to treat" the young lady said in a cold tone.

"Aren't you listening to me?" Said the lady with an ice aura that made the soldiers obey her immediately.

"Alright young lady."

They also brought Lin Chen into Baiqing empire. Their journey was warmly welcomed by the Baiqing imperial warriors.

"Looks like this lady isn't a random person I should get out of here right away." Said Lin Chen in a heart that was lying down, he instantly activated the light step technique and started to disappear from the carriage.

The young miss realized that there was a glimpse of light emanating from the place where the man she helped before had directly told her soldiers to check her condition but all she got was blood from the man and her body was gone don't go anywhere.

Unwilling to think of this the young lady ignored that and started heading towards the palace.

Moving to Lin Chen who had run away from the carriage, he started to hire someone to provide information about this empire.

"Hey, do you want this gold coin?" Asked Lin Chen to a young man.

"My name is Miss Li, what does this young master want from me." The young man immediately changed his attitude and clenched his hands.

"Give me information about this empire and why was the carriage welcomed by those soldiers?" Ask Lin Chen.

"Alright, the first reason why the carriage was greeted by many warriors was because the woman on the carriage was the 1st level Snow Cloud Sect Chief named Lian Fei." Answer the man.

In this world there are various sects that are divided into 9 levels, and the 1st is the highest level sect.

"The second reason, because the woman once saved the emperor when attacked by an assassin."

Lin Chen who was shocked to hear that was relieved that he had escaped from the lady.

"What about this empire?" Said Lin Chen.

This empire was one of the strongest among the 5 empires because their ancestor was an immortal. The emperor who currently controlled the Baiqing Empire named Bai Feng he was the youngest emperor in history, the disposition of Emperor Bai Feng was so cruel and heartless he even killed his own brother for the sake of becoming emperor. Once upon a time the emperor was bored without a companion so he began to marry several concubines, but even though he had married several concubines he was not even interested in them and considered them only as a tool to carry on the offspring. But the head of the Snow Cloud Sect changed the emperor, when the sect master saved the emperor from an assassin attack made the emperor fall in love with Lian Fei, which made the emperor want to make Lian Fei his wife.

After hearing all those stories came up some questions in his brain, not wanting to think about it Lin Chen began to question the person where he could buy the precious item, the man directly guided Lin Chen to the largest auction house in the empire.

Before entering Lin Chen used the mask he had made before and a robe. Lin Chen entered the auction house and he found that there were many people who were jostling to enter the auction room, because Lin Chen had many gold coins he started renting a VIP room.

"Hey miss! can you get me a VIP room."

"Will this young master be able to pay for the VIP room." Said the woman who doubted Lin Chen.

"Let's calm, miss!" Lin Chen started to take out his gold coins in front of the woman.

The lady directly brought Lin Chen to the VIP room along with Bu Li.
