Rise from Death

Elisha woke up because his phone ringing continuously rang and disturbed his sleep. He grabbed the phone without looking at the screen.

"Yes" he replied lazily with his eyes closed.

Someone on the other side gave him very surprising news, the car accident that his parents were carrying happened early this morning. Both were killed after their cars entered the ravine.

"No, no way! Where's this news from?"

Someone answered and confirmed the truth, he also sent the news that was revealed by one of the online news portals.

Elisha read it with trembling hands, and he was hysterical for a moment. Elisha was devastated by the shocking deaths of his parents. Along with that the secretary Luna came. Luna who was about to report the news came in time to become a backup for Elisha when Nico was not there beside him.

Elisha was terrified, Elisha was in great shock, poor Elisha.

The day cloudy adorned the sky as if understanding Elisha's sorrow. The bodies of her parents were buried in the funeral home, Elisha was unceasingly crying over the sudden departure of her parents. Accompanied by Luna, Elisha received condolences from relatives and relatives. But there's something else that bothers him, Nico.

"Lun, where's Nico? She can't call me, her phone's off. Did she know papa's mom died?"

"Mas Erwin has been trying to contact from yesterday and .. we haven't succeeded." Luna answered the gamang, honestly she also had a bad feeling about Nico.

"Where is Lun? I'm so worried something's happening to Nico." 

Luna hesitated to say it but finally decided to tell Elisha.

"Can we talk inside, is there something I need to say?"

Elisha looked at Luna suspiciously, but he was reluctant to say it in front of the mourners. After asking for help from the General manager to replace his position to accept mourners, Elisha went to his father's office.

"What exactly is Lun, did something happen to Nico?"

Luna did not answer, she took her briefcase and handed Elisha a report.

"We get a report that there is a process behind the company name unilaterally by …,"

"Of Alex!" guess Elisa while reading the file in her hand.

In the hands of Elisa, the company's financial statements and also the results of the general meeting of shareholders clearly listed the name of Alex Nataprawira as the new owner. Elisha was wide-eyed when he saw the confirmation date listed in the GMS dated the day before the news of his parents' deaths.

"Lun, this .. is impossible! I wasn't invited to this meeting?! How can they sign me here!"

"That worries me Lis, obviously the people around us who play here. Maybe insert a blank sheet as you sign or something." 

Luna looked quite worried, this concerned her work as well. His credibility as a confidant of Elisha is at stake. Elisha was his friend and helper as he and his family got into trouble. That's why Luna devoted all her ability to help Elisha including at a time like this.

"I don't know what else to do! Where's Nico, why would he disappear at a time like this!"

"Ehm, Nico actually sent this message to you." 

Luna handed a piece of paper to Elisha, Elisha quickly grabbed it and read it. His eyes widened as he caught the sentence, 'Run and leave as soon as possible!'

Nico also said that something had happened related to the transfer of inheritance rights. Nico says goodbye to Elisha and hopes to see him again soon. But Elisha's intuition says Nico isn't okay, his last sentence clearly gives him a warning to save himself if Nico doesn't come.

He looked at Luna with a complicated expression, his body trembling violently. "W-what happened to Lun exactly?"

"Be patient, we are investigating. Calm down, now you must deliver the bodies of your parents to the cemetery."

"Sir, the body will be dispatched immediately should mbak ahead." The young man named Banyu reminded Elisa, he was the General Manager whom Elisa trusted. Second person after Luna.

Elisha obeyed the orders of Luna and Banyu, and he immediately followed the funeral procession. Rain accompanied the funeral process. Elisha sat on the edge of the wet mound of the two tombs of his parents. His gaze was blankly staring at the two wooden headstones. 

Luna and Banyu still faithfully accompanied. Elisha still wanted to linger there while reciting prayers as the most beautiful gift that could be given to them. The availability of their return to Indonesia is to celebrate the anniversary of the golden wedding, as well as giving up longing after three months abroad. Death is too soon to pick up.

Elisha longed to turn back time, back when joking laughter still filled his heart space. Back when he still had togetherness and happiness with his parents.

Time never goes backwards!

"When is this afternoon going to be here? We're going home now?" Banyu reminded Elisha who was reluctant to change his position.

"You go first, I will follow." said Elisha without looking at the two.

Banyu and Luna stared at each other, "But Lis, it's already the afternoon in a moment, magrib do you want to sleep here?" Luna reminded me again.

"Go tell me!" Elisha rebuked, he did not want to be denied.

"All right, if that's what you want. Let us know as soon as you're home okay?" Linda and Banyu give up.

"OK," he said.

With a heavy heart Luna and Banyu left Elisha. Sometimes Luna turned to look at Elisha who was still sitting.

"I hope so too, may he be strong."

"Where is Nico, you can call him?"

Banyu shook his head, "We lost track."

"Jeez, why is it so complicated!"

THE DOOR!!

There were two sounds of explosions like shots in the air. Luna and Banyu stared at each other.

"B, didn't I hear wrong?" 

"Sheel!" both of them scream at the same time.

Sure enough, Elisha's body fell on top of eating the father. Luna and Banyu ran to Elisha.

"Elisa, wakeup! My God, B fast ambulance phone!" Luna grabbed Elisha's blood-soaked body.

Elisha did not open his eyes even though Luna tried to resuscitate him. Banyu moved quickly by holding Elisha's body into the car, ignoring Luna's request. Elisa can't wait, she's critical. In her last breath, Elisha opened his eyes before finally breathing out his last breath.

"Dead, you! The heir of Vishnu Nataprawira is now all mine!"

Along with a loud noise clanging on her head, Elisha opened his eyes suddenly. His eyes were wide open and his breath felt heavy. It scoops up as much air as it seems to run out of oxygen.

"Where, where am I!"

[Welcome back Elisa, you were chosen as the current period Super Chef System host and I am your guide Amy.]

Elisha's eyes were looking for who was speaking to him. "Who's talking to me?!"

[You can't see me, miss, but I can see you.]

Elisha came down from his ice-cold bed, surprised to find himself not wearing a single piece of clothing, even sleeping on an iron table.

"Where am I, it's so cold like …,"

[Corpse room, you've been here for almost thirty-six hours. You have been declared dead because of a bullet lodged right in your heart and lungs. Two fatal shots that instantly kill you.]

"Oh yeah I remember now, the gunshots! Am I dreaming?"

[No miss, you have been selected to be revived with the system. I'll guide you on a rewarding mission until you make some money.]  

Alisa frowned in surprise, she looked for the source of the sound. "Price mission? Should I believe this Amy? Don't joke, because it's not funny! I feel like I'm playing in a movie."

[Amy never jokes, miss. The system is always honest.]

Elisha wrapped around a thin white cloth of his plain body, his head a little sore but he tried to hold on. He settles the precipitate out of the morgue.

"Well Amy, forget about the mission. If you are indeed a system that saves and merges in my body, help me get out of here first!"
