Eps 3 - Solution

After running errands and searching for each other's information, they all returned to the office.

Cindy and Karyn arrive first at the office.

"Kring.cring..cring." door bell sound. "Yes, we're the first ones back in the office! " said Karyn. "Well, they're gonna have to find information here and there, we're gonna be the first" Cindy said.

"Yes-yes, huh. We have to wait for them again, long time." you know Karyn. "Udah, don't complain, just wait" Cindy said.

After 1 hour passed, James, Edward and Derren returned to the office at the same time.

"Kring.cring..cring." door bell sound. "Hi..., we went home." said Derren with a happy face. "Welcome back, what have you found? " ask Cindy looked at the happy facial expressions of the three of them as if to say that they were getting satisfactory results.

"I found the culprit! " said James and Derren simultaneously. "Huh? " again, James and Derren said. "Don't follow donk!! hmmm! " again, James and Derren said. "Stop it! Let's explain one by one, starting with James" Cindy said.

"Me and Edward went to his company. We find an employee who may have a problem with Ms. Lydia but, it seems that she is not the culprit because she does not feel frightened after seeing Edward disguised as Miss Lydia. Besides, the perpetrator I'm referring to is the director. When Edward and I went into the director's room, the director suddenly stood up from his seat and was terrified and screaming that Miss Lydia was dead" James explained.

"If you were Derren? " ask Cindy. "So I went to Miss Lydia's apartment disguised as a parcel-sender. But, after I mentioned Miss Lydia's name, she was immediately frightened and could not believe it was from Miss Lydia. Then I watched her package and then, suddenly she screamed in fear and ran into the house and closed the door. So, I assumed that he was the culprit" Derren replied.

"Alright, I've heard your explanation. I'll call the inspector and have him round up the two people you suspect to be the perpetrators" Cindy said.

Cindy called the inspector immediately. "Hello, good morning inspector, this is Cindy. I'd like the inspector's help to round up the two people we suspect are the perpetrators of the murder case" Cindy said. "Oh, ok fine! " said the inspector. " Well, thank you inspector" Cindy said.

After that, Cindy hung up the phone and the inspector immediately gathered the two people Cindy said she called earlier.

"Next, let's go to the crime scene and confirm their alibis! " said Cindy. "Good chief! " answer all.

*Note: Alibi \= proof that the suspect is innocent

After that, Cindy and her friends head to the crime scene.

When they get there...

"Oh, you've arrived, Supernatural Detective! I've gathered two people who are suspected of being the perpetrators you said earlier, the first is Miss Lydia's director at 8eauty company. Brandy Ainsley, 32, is married. The second is Miss Lydia, she's Genof Efrain, 28, unmarried. They are currently in the next room "the inspector said.

"Alright, the inspector also please come with us to make sure their alibi" Cindy said. " All right" said the inspector.

Afterwards Supernatural Detective and inspector Albert together went to the next room to confirm their alibi.

"Good day Sir Brandy and Sir Genof "greet Cindy. "Good day, miss " replied Sir Brandy and Sir Genof at the same time.

"Why am I being called here? " ask Sir Brandy. "Well, why am I being called here? " continued Sir Genof.

"You're called here because you're suspects in Ms. Lydia's murder" the inspector replied.

"Well! whahuh? Lydia's murdered? " said Sir Brandy and Sir Genof who were shocked simultaneously. "Yes, Ms. Lydia was murdered around 9pm to 12pm yesterday" the inspector said.

"All right, let's get started. The first is Sir Brandy, where and what do you do from 9pm to 12pm? " ask Cindy. "At 9 o'clock, I still have work in the office and overtime until 11 p.m." replied Sir Brandy.

"Can anyone confirm your alibi? " ask Cindy. "Ti. does not exist, because by that time all employees had gone home" replied Sir Brandy.

"Alright, next Sir Genof. The question is still the same, where and what do you do from 9 pm to 12 pm? " ask Cindy. "At 9 to 12 p.m., I was at home" replied Sir Genof.

"Can anyone confirm your alibi? " ask Cindy. "Some, you can ask my friends and neighbors, because I was fighting with my friend again and maybe his voice was heard by my neighbor" replied Sir Genof.

"Well, can the inspector call his friends and neighbors to confirm his alibi? " ask Cindy. "Okay, you two! immediately call here the friend and neighbor who was said earlier! " the inspector's order. "Okay inspector! " answer the two policemen.

After getting an order from the inspector, the two policemen immediately called the two men who were witnesses to Sir Genof's alibi.

*Note: alibi witness \= the person who proved the alibi

Back to the next room...

"When Edward and James went undercover to your company, why were you scared and yelled Sir Brandy, could you explain? " ask Cindy. "I.i. it was because actually at 11:30 I went to Lydia's apartment and by the time I got there, I had already discovered that Lydia was dead. I was afraid of being suspected as the culprit, so I went straight home " replied Sir Brandy.

"Ho... Why did you go to Miss Lydia's apartment at 11:30? " ask Cindy. "That's you.because Lydia and I are actually dating" replied Sir Brandy.

"Well, Sir Genof, why are you so scared and yelling when Derren, disguised as the sender of the package, mentions Miss Lydia's name? " ask Cindy.

"Huh? turns out it was a lady's man? sa. I do so, the reason is also the same as Sir Brandy said "Sir Genof.

After that, the two policemen returned with the two people said earlier and the two men were interrogated.

"Is it true Sir Genof was in the apartment at 9 p.m? " ask the police. "Yes, right sir, I heard the sound of a fight from Sir Genof's room, even I also heard the sound of a knock on the door" replied neighbor Sir Genof.

"How do you know that you got into a fight at exactly 9 p.m? " ask the police. "That's because Genof was standing right in front of the clock, so I could see him" replied his friend Sir Genof.

"Oh, well, thanks for the information" said the police. "Yes, sir" said the two men.

After that, the police reported everything to the inspector.

"Oh, thank you for the information. Cindy, Sir Genof's alibi has been proven right" the inspector said.

"Alright, next, do you two always carry a small knife? " ask Cindy. "Yes, it is therefore necessary to cut out photographs and cosmetic information as a reference " replied Sir Brandy.

"Ho... What about Sir Genof? " ask Cindy. "No, I have no such thing" replied Sir Genof.

"Well, Sir Brandy, can you give me your little knife to check? " ask Cindy. "Yes, but what is it, why should it be checked? " just ask Sir Brandy.

"Because the weapon used to kill Miss Lydia is a small knife that can be carried everywhere" Cindy replied. "O. oh well" said Sir Brandy, giving him his little knife.

"Inspector, please check the luminol reaction in the knife" Cindy said. "Well Cindy, you! give this to the forensics team to check for luminol reactions! " the inspector's order. "Okay inspector! " answered one of the police.

*Note: luminol \= reaction an object that has been exposed to blood will emit blue light when given luminol compounds.

Soon the police gave the small knife to the forensic team for examination. A few moments later after checking the luminol reaction...

"Inspector, the knife's been checked. The result was a luminol reaction and the knife matched the incision in the victim's neck "one of the police said. "All right, thanks for the information. Sir Brandy, can you come with us to the police station and explain everything there? " said the inspector.

"A. what! I'm not guilty inspector! I am not guilty! My knife was stolen a few days ago and just returned today. I didn't kill Lydia!!! please believe me inspector!!! " shouted Sir Brandy whose voice was getting away from being taken by the police.

"Now that the culprit has been arrested, am I allowed to go home? " ask Sir Genof. "Yes, please Sir " replied Cindy.

"Well, thank you for helping us find the perpetrator of this case, Supernatural Detective! " said the Inspector. "Yes, equally inspector, this is also our duty" Cindy replied.

After that, Sir Genof went home and by then the inspector also rushed to return to the police station. But before opening the door, Cindy called back the inspector and whispered something. After he finished whispering something, the inspector immediately rushed back to the police station.

Later then...

"Chairman, why did you let him get arrested? the chairman would have known that he wasn't the culprit" Karyn said. "Yes, right, we just realized that he was not the culprit. If he did, he would have immediately thrown the knife, which perpetrator did not get rid of his weapon" continued Derren.

"I also know, I already have a plan" Cindy said. "Oh.. Our chief is indeed the wisest! " praise Derren. "Yes! " continue the other.

After that, they all went back to the office.

At 9pm, Sir Genof stepped out of his apartment.

"Huh..had I wasn't caught, I had to immediately throw this video tape! " sir Genof said in his heart.

*Note: video tape \= an object like a cassette that can store sound recordings.

After walking around, Sir Genof finally got to the bottom. Just as Sir Genof reached below, a light suddenly flashed towards him. He was surprised and it turned out...

"You can't run anymore Sir Genof ! I know you killed Miss Lydia! " said the inspector. "Huh? whahuh? didn't Lydia kill Sir Brandy? you have also arrested him " said Sir Genof.

"No! it was you who killed him! " said the inspector.

Back to when Cindy whispered something to the inspector....

"Inspector, tonight at 9 o'clock, come to Sir Genof's apartment" whispered Cindy. "Why? Is there something unfinished? " ask the inspector. "Just the inspector comes, when you get there you will know ", Cindy replied.

Back to this moment...

Little by little came the sound of footsteps of women approaching.

"If you weren't the culprit, could you give me the video tape to check? " ask Cindy. "Ti. ti. ti do not need to be checked, this is just an insignificant thing" replied Sir Genof. "Ho.. Then give it to me, it looks like you're going to throw it away, just give it to me, I want it" Cindy said.

"Ti. ti. can't" said Sir Genof. "James! " the Cindy command. "Good chief! " answered James. After being ordered by Cindy, James immediately seized the tape and gave it to Cindy.

"Ah.. I've been found out, I have to run! " sir Genof said in his heart. Sir Genof immediately ran away, but he was intercepted by Karyn "Eh...eh... eh.... where are you going? " said Karyn. "Hahaha, you're just a woman, but what can you do! " said Sir Genof. "Sadly, I don't like to be underestimated by a lowly human like you! A shark! " Karyn directly beat Sir Genof and gave it to the police.

"Again, thank you Supernatural Detective! But by the way how do you know he did Cindy? " ask the inspector.

"I felt something was off about this case, so I went to Sir Genof's apartment and asked his neighbor again. It turned out that the neighbors did not see directly and only heard. So did his friend, when I asked, his friend said that Sir Genof told him to go to his apartment and told him to close the door firmly because if it closed slowly, the door would not be closed, but when he came Sir Genof wasn't in the apartment. So I thought it was possible that the voice heard by the neighbors was a video tape and the sound of the door being knocked down was caused by a friend who closed the door loudly when he entered. He also changed the clock to 1 hour later so that when his friend came and fought with him, his friend could find out that it was 9. Then, after killing Ms. Lydia, she went straight home and made her friend angry so there was a fight. His motive for killing Ms. Lydia was because Ms. Lydia did not agree to turn him back and would demand to return all the money she had borrowed "Cindy's explanation.

"Oh.. Then it is true that Sir Brandy's knife has been stolen, Cindy's good work and of course the other Supernatural Detective! " praise the inspector. " Together inspector" replied everyone.

That way, Sir Genof is captured and Sir Brandy is released. Supernatural Detective returned to the office.
