It had been 12 hours since Zhu Mengyi started her second day trying to reach a perfect quality pill, and she had just completed her third Earth Advancement Pill for the day.

"Nearly a high-quality pill, yes .." Zhu Mengyi looked at the pill in her hand with a dejected look.

"You should be done, because you have time to sit there and cry," Su Yang's voice suddenly sounded behind him.

Zhu Mengyi turned to look at him, who appeared suddenly, and quickly wiped her eyes dry.

"I'm sorry, but I can't do it .. I know you expect me to make a perfect quality pill, but I've betrayed your expectations.." he said muttering in a sobbing voice, which is full of sadness.

"Ha ha ha!" Su Yang suddenly laughed out loud, making him dumbfounded.

He then wiped away the tears in his eyes and said to him, "Who expects you to make a perfect quality pill? I'm saying that just as a means to make you more serious!"

"A-What—?"

Zhu Mengyi looked at him with a puzzled expression, stunned by his words.

"Do you think you are concocting a Basic level pill or something? Forget about a Heaven-level pill like the Earth Progress Pill, you won't be able to concoct even an Earth-grade without a flaw!"

Zhu Mengyi should have been pleased after hearing such words, but instead of smiling, her eyes showed sadness.

"Right ... she won't be here forever .." she sighed inwardly.

"That being said, stop wasting time and go back to concocting," Su Yang's voice woke him from his thoughts.

"Tr-True!"

Time passed, and in the blink of an eye, three days passed by their heads.

It had been almost a week since Su Yang had arrived at the Four Seasons Academy, and with his help, Zhu Mengyi could finally concoct a high-quality pill at a consistent speed.

"How's your progress?" Matriarch Zhu asked Zhu Mengyi when she returned.

"Look at this and you'll understand," he replied with his nose pointed to the sky, his face screaming in pride, and retrieving many pill bottles from his storage ring.

When Matriarch Zhu first saw the pill bottle, her eyes widened in shock. "So many Earth Progress Pills!"

However, as soon as he noticed their qualities, his jaw dropped to the ground in shock.

"And they're all high-quality pills!"

"W-Did you make all this? W-impossible!"

"I'm sure so!" Zhu Mengyi said, her head raised as high as usual.

Matriarch Zhu looked at him with a solemn expression and thought to herself, "In just a week's time, he had not only managed to overcome his problems with the Earth Advancement Pill but had also grown to such an extent that he could concoct them with high quality!"

Matriarch Zhu acknowledged Su Yang was someone profound and mysterious and held him to a high standard, but unfortunately, she did not think that he actually still underestimated his abilities!

"Good boy!" He couldn't help but praise her. "If this continues, you will even surpass me in a few more weeks!"

However, Zhu Mengyi did not express any excitement after hearing his praise.

"Unfortunately, he's leaving soon. Forget a few weeks, I'd be so happy if she stayed a few more days!"

"You ..." Matriarch Zhu looked into his eyes and noticed something different about him other than his newfound strength in concocting pills.

"This girl did not say that because she wanted to improve her technique but because she wanted to stay with the young man!"

"Then I will do it soon! Thank you, mom!"

After saying that, Zhu Mengyi left the place swiftly.
