Chapter 57 - Familiarity During the Trip
Long story short they arrived in front of the entrance of Purple Orchid Village.
"Excuse me, you wander, these nights are of any interest to the wandering master coming to this village ?" a guard asked quite warily to Bai Long.
"Let me answer Bai Long" telepathically from Bai Chen.
Bai Chen opened a little window of the horse carriage and said "Relax uncle guard, we just want to stay over and rest, tomorrow we will go straight on with the journey".
"Well if that's it, welcome to our village, please come in" the guard politely invited. Bai Chen tossed the golden bag containing 100 gold coins.
"Thank you young master" the guard's tone immediately differed after receiving the bag of gold.
Nothing significant happened in this village. Just silence along their way towards a small inn. They rested in the inn until the next day.
The next day, the sun was emitting its rays on the eastern horizon of the wind eye, Bai Chen and the entourage were already up and preparing to continue the journey.
Before that trip, Bai Chen sold his horse carriage to a merchant who happened to be staying at the inn as well. Bai Chen obtained around 10,000 gold pieces.
"Everything, let's just continue flying, so as not to take too much time" Bai Chen said as he and they just nodded their heads in understanding.
They immediately left the village then headed eastward, estimating they would reach the Eastern Continent Empire within two weeks.
Along the way, they try to get along with each other. At first it was a little stiff but over time they all started getting used to it.
Long story short they were already half on their way to the Empire of the Eastern Continent, they then rested for a while before continuing on their way.
"Chen Gege, wouldn't it be better for us to stop for a while, the three of us aren't as strong as Chen Gege and Uncle Bai Long, even though our cultivation looks higher" Bai Feng complained to Bai Chen.
Over the past week, Bai Feng had become familiar with Bai Chen, initially because of Bai Long who often teased Bai Feng for keeping his eyes on Bai Chen.
Bai Chen who was initially unconcerned, was instead made to pity upon seeing Bai Feng who was continuously teased by Bai Long. He finally decided to try chatting with Bai Feng.
And over the past week the relationship between the two of them got closer without them noticing themselves and Bai Chen had Bai Feng call him Gege.
"Young master Bai Chen, now princess Bai Feng wants to rest, does the young master not want to fulfill that light request" Bai Long instead teased the two of them more because he was tired of this slow journey, he was just looking for entertainment by teasing the two of them.
Bai Chen had looked at Bai Long cynically for constantly teasing him with Bai Feng, but it had always been ignored by Bai Long and had never touched his threat. He was finally only able to sigh and slow down his flying movements.
"Well we rest up ahead there, there's a big tree we can use to shelter" Bai Chen pointed to a tree that was quite large, even its branches might be used to sleep freely.
"Both Chen Gege and Uncle Bai Long if you keep teasing me, maybe I will never talk again with uncle" Bai Feng slightly threatened Bai Long.

That was why they had all called Bai Chen with the young master again, as everyone was now watching them and thought that there was an entourage of nobles willing to pass by.
