"System."
[Good.]
In a flash, all objects as far as the eye could see turned purplish, as if there were ignorant hands deliberately spilling paint on top of a painting.
Victor stared dumbfoundedly at the corner of the room, clapping in amazement. The young man before him was indeed as per the rumors. Justjust wonderful. But he was confident in his black skills and magic.
“Interesting. As far as I'm concerned, dimensional bulkhead magic is just a myth, a fairy tale. I now understand why this magic is considered bird news. Because between the two of us, there will only be one person who will come out of this magic to tell it.”
Victor took the horses, his wand pointed forward.
“And that person is me!”
Without a cue he darted forward with a red light enveloping his entire body. That's fast. It was an advanced application of fire magic.
Dimitri swiftly stretched both hands forward, preparing for the defense.
“System, Wind Fortress!”
[You kidding? We need something stronger.]
A purple layer of ice floated in front of Dimitri. Thin, snow-shaped. But that's enough defense.
Victor slammed back a few steps, the purple ice layer cracking in half.
[I told you, right? He is not an easy opponent. You have to fight it with all your might or you'll regret it.]
Dimitri snorted, taking the horses. He underestimated Victor just for having a high-level magic system.
“Not bad. Your defense is strong too. How about this?”
Victor raised his staff high, cast a high-class spell. The magic circle shimmered brightly around his feet.
A fireball formed up there, expanding to the size of a hill. The color that was red had slowly turned bright yellow, then blue.
“Show danger.” Dimitri muttered softly.
[The magic scale is amazing.]
“Be quiet. I have to focus on overcoming that.”
“Eat this!”
Right at the end of his sentence, Victor threw the giant fireball towards Dimitri. The air roared ferociously as the large-scale magic shot out.
“Haa!”
Dimitri raised a hand, eight ice pillars the size of a house emerged from the ground, blocking the lashing of the fireball.
The deafening thump rang out, two spells with different elements clashing at an extremely high level.
Dimitri slammed back two steps, Victor disappeared somewhere.
Not yet had time to guess where Victor was going, the wind arrow shot rapidly towards Dimitri. He did not have time to block the magic, his body was torn apart.
Blood splashed to the ground. Luckily his body was regenerating quickly. If not, he could die.
Dimitri growled in annoyance, smoke still billowing everywhere, the impact of his ice magic lashing with Victor's fire magic.
The young man threw ice magic in any direction, the sharp flakes darting quickly tore through anything he passed.
There was no shouting whatsoever, there was only the sound of walls breaking and trees falling from the blind ice magic.
Unexpectedly a magic hit Dimitri's back hard, making him stifled.
“Argh!”
[Use wind magic to remove this ice fog.]
Dimitri shook his head, he had a plan. He stuck, put up the horses.
His lips cast high-level magic.
The next wave came from behind the fog. This time it's fire magic. Luminous little balls shot out quickly, shrill in maneuver as Dimitri dodged.
It's homing magic with a powerful warhead. Some that did not manage to turn hit the surface, making the ground fly in the air.
There were countless number of times Dimitri had been slammed by the blast. Although it was not directly exposed, it was still deadly magic.
In the midst of the explosion that was about to finish him off, Dimitri raised his hand to the sky, releasing streams of magic that had already gathered in his fingers.
“Come. Kirin!”
The bright purple clouds suddenly darkened, thunderbolts struck ferociously.
A split second, a blue lightning dragon-shaped head struck the palace, smashing everything within a five hundred meter radius.
Smoke billows high, the smell of charred fill the smell. Dimitri stood up, a groan heard from behind the thick smoke.
“Use the wind magic you suggested.”
[Alright. Your plan turned out not to be bad, fortunately I had the chance to use protective magic before the huge lightning struck. Otherwise you are already dying.]
The wind whipped in all directions, bringing the puff of smoke away.
Twenty steps from where the young man was standing, Victor sat down with a nearly charred body. The attack was very fast and powerful
Victor coughed, black blood splattered on the ground.
“This is not finished!”
Dark magic circles emerged from the splash of blood, multilayered. The size gets bigger with time.
“You will die in my hands, Dimitri. You have no chance against this magic.”
Dimitri stepped back, panicking. It's black magic with the largest magic circle he's ever seen. Dangerous.
The young man threw a bright white colored fireball, the highest level of fire element. Trying to stop Victor.
However, like a fire thrown into the water, the magic vanished engulfed in the black aura of money enveloping Victor's body.
“Sial! What kind of magic will he use? What do I do to fight it?”
[That's Ecthra, one of the most forbidden black magic. A dangerous entity summoning magic from the middle of nowhere. Once he uses it, your chance of life is less than zero percent.]
“Sial! Your information doesn't help, System. There must be a way to stop it, right?”
[....]
Silent system. Not answering. In front of there, in the middle of the black circle that continued to widen, a huge hand appeared from within the ground.
“Sial!”
Seeing him Dimitri took a step back, trembling. Moreover, a second later, the hand pulled out a huge tall jet-black creature with long horns.
His eyes were flaming red, his snort of breath making the stones around melt.
“Hei, System! Help me!”
[....]
Again, the system is silent.
The creature roared angrily, followed by Victor's grinning smile.
“Turn you, Dimitri. You should be honored to die at the hands of Azazel.”
The creature gazed down, towards a human who was only as tall as its eyes. With a single movement he lunged at Dimitri with long nails.
However, having not had the attack hit the target, Victor coughed, his body convulsed, his eyes bleeding as black as the night sky.
The creature named Azazel stopped its claws in the air, turned its head towards Victor, looking at him in silence.
The next instant the creature vanished, back into the ground. Leaving Victor lying without life.
“A-what happened?”
Dimitri asked with high curiosity.
[It's forbidden magic. Told you. Magic takes a lot of life energy, using it while dying will only kill yourself.]
Dimitri nodded in understanding. With this he is the winner.
While coming out of the Spatial Dimension, Rachel asked him where he went when the fight with Victor's soldiers broke out.
“Eh, the ... Victor took me to the mountains to fight four eyes. He did not want our fight to be interrupted. Lucky I won.”
Rachel looked suspiciously at Dimitri's words, feeling that something was hidden by the young man.
“Where is Victor's body?”
“Nothing, he used forbidden black magic to summon Azazel, but his body was instead devoured by that monstrous creature for not being strong.”
Dimitri with an improvised story.
“In which mountains do you fight? I didn't hear anything from the mountains around here, Victor must have used blast magic. He is a user of fire element.”
“Eh? I-it, I'm also not sure where.” is
Dimitri could not say that they were fighting in the special time space he created with magic. A dimension separate from the world.
Rachel could be excited. He doesn't want that.
“Terussle.” The girl switched the conversation, Dimitri was grateful for it.
“We some time ago fought the royal warriors, currently the people who surrendered are being gathered. We have information that this is all the work of the Holy Mount. Those who designed all this mess.”
Dimitri turned his head, the name caught his attention.
Indeed, he had expected the involvement of the organization with all these divisions.
“I've expected it from a long time ago,” Dimitri looked at Rachel, making the girl forced to throw her face. “so now, we already know the next goal to bring back peace, right?”
Rachel turned her head, this time they stared for a few seconds.
“Ya, you're right.”
“Tell others, we will directly attack Holy Mount.”
The next fight was decided.
