Edzard's Feelings

    My heart stopped, there was a strange sense of tickling myself. The sudden pain that was present, I tried to calmly hide everything. The dining room seemed to grow colder, as cold as it enveloped, I took off one button of the top shirt I was wearing. Loosening the choked neck instantly.

    "It seems you've been very close to him lately" whispered Nayla who was still chewing her food.

    "Em, Re, Kenzo doesn't mind you. He didn't do anything weird?" tanyaku.

    "No Bang, Brother Ken is a good person, but he expressed his feelings for me and invited me to get married" Rere said.

    "Most importantly you take good care of Re, if Ken does something bad to you. You tell Bang Edzard straight away. Ok," my suggestion returned a strong smile towards Rere.

    "Yes right Re, I'm happy if you're happy. But don't get to...." Nayla no longer continued her words.

    Rere rolled his eyeballs and then stared intently at Nayla. "Rere is still a virgin until now Nay, so don't misunderstand always, your brain treveling too far, deh. You guys calm down, Rere will try to take good care of it as possible" Rere assured. She glanced at her best friend, Nayla looking grimacing.

     After dinner, the three of us joked, watching tv in Rere's room. Nayla and Rere fell asleep. I breathe heavily. I pulled up the blanket, wrapped it in both. Then stepped forward, turned off the tv channel, and rushed out of the room down the stairs. I stopped at the living room sofa, laying down a tired body on the sofa. Looking at the clean white painted ceiling, for the umpteenth time I accompanied Nayla to stay at Rere's house since her grandmother had a house outside to go to the hospital. I glanced at the watch, had it shown at twelve o'clock in the night. My hands reached out, picked up the phone in my pants pocket, and called the number I was going to.

    "Hay Zard, tumben night-night phone, why?" There was a sleepy tone, Kenzo's voice coming from behind the phone.

    "I'm staying at your girlfriend's house" I said showing off, heating up, with a big smile.

    "What! Geez, don't-don't" Kenzo said in surprise.

    "Yes, I was sleeping in Rere's house" I continued, chuckling.

    "Lack of acid, just watch out, I'm approaching you right now" Kenzo said in a high tone, turning off his phone.

   "Hello Ken," call me to make sure once again. "Dimicked," I continued, wide open. "Ok, I'm waiting for you guys, let's stay together tonight" I said, smiling triumphantly.

   Half an hour later, the sound of the door being pounded loudly, I immediately got up from sitting and opened the door, Kenzo just slipped inside. He looked at me sharply, his hands clenched. I've never seen him this angry before.

    "Where's Rere," choked Kenzo into the collar of my shirt.

    Kenzo frowned, still second-guessing, he then walked up the stairs quickly and towards the room I showed him. I crossed my arms, standing in the same spot for a long time. There was the sound of footsteps, quite loud and fast down the stairs approaching.

    "Less acid you're Zard," she said, she gave me a punch on my left shoulder. I laughed incessantly at Kenzo's annoyance.

    "Kok can you just as Nayla sleeps here?"

    "Rere's grandmother is hospitalized, her maid and driver take turns with Rere to guard. Nayla also often accompanies Rere in the hospital as well. Well, it just so happened that tonight it was Rere's turn to rest at home, his grandmother was worried so he told us to accompany." I'm explaining.

    "Why Rere didn't tell me" Edzard complained.

    "Relax Zard, I'll definitely take care of him. I'm not going to marry him unless he asks" he said with a sinless face.

    Crack it! Satisfied I hit his head to wake up. I looked coldly in the other direction.

    "Edzard's pain" cried Kenzo, "you are crazy, yes" he added.

    "You are crazy not to stumble" I murmured.

    "I'm just kidding, as long as you know, I'm really in love with Rere, Zard. From the bottom of this heart it's like an alarm" he said, touching his chest. I shuddered at Kenzo's foreign behavior. "I want to take care of him, I can't bear to touch him beyond the limit" he continued to amaze me as a listener.

    I was dumbfounded to hear an absurd explanation, but it was real to hear. It was as if his words were inconsequential but I knew this time Kenzo was really seriously in love. There's been a strange taste in the body, since Rere's confession at dinner last night. And even when I heard Kenzo's statement, the stifling churn of the chest resurfaced. I smiled bitterly, too late I understood my silly feelings. How can I like the same girl as Kenzo? Miris.

   I don't expect more, I just pray for their happiness. Hope this love doesn't grow too deep. I was scared, afraid of losing everything. All this time I've been used to succumbing, and hopefully this time I'm still the same.

    "Ken, I sleep first" I said looking away. I walked into one of the rooms I used to stay in. I stopped at the door to look. "Oh yeah, you can sleep in the room next to me, or you want to sleep in the room with me." I raised an eyebrow, joking.

    "God! Your brain isn't sliding, is it, Edzard," said Kenzo, looking amused, he threw a pillow, and I pushed him away by closing the door. Tubs! The sound of pillows slamming the door was heard.

     I grinned, feeling stupid, "It seems like tonight is going to be a long night" I lamented as I lay.
