Regret After Losing Chapter 13

Upon arrival at the pharmacy, Lee was reminded of his best friend who will work as well as honeymoon to Sidney. He decided to buy Zilgwin a powerful medicine. But unfortunately, because of the almost the same form of medicine, Lee's and Zilgwin's powerful sleeping pills became confused.

Lee finally took the changed medicine and got ready for bed.

However, moments later, Lee felt his body so hot and agitated.

Lee then undressed and raised the temperature of his room AC, but the results were nil. His body was getting hotter and his juniors felt hardened.

Lee was astonished why his body suddenly like this, he finally contacted one of his friends who was a doctor at a hospital.

After Lee explained all his complaints to his friend, Lee was so surprised to hear the tenant's explanation that said if Lee might take strong medicine.

Lee couldn't sleep all night. He then decided to soak in the bathub as suggested by his friend so that he was forced to sleep in the bathroom overnight.

Meanwhile, the next day, Kanaya wakes up earlier than Zilgwin. He also finished taking a shower and doing other activities.

Moments later, Zilgwin finally woke up with a slightly dizzy head. Slowly, he again remembered the incident last night, where he suddenly felt extreme sleepiness after taking the medicine that Lee gave him which made his honeymoon with Kanaya a complete failure.

"Damn the Lee, he must have deliberately fouled me by giving sleeping pills. Just watch out for the son of a bitch" said Zilgwin in the morning.

"Sleeping pills? Since when do you take sleeping pills?" kanaya suddenly came to Zilgwin.

"Jeez Kanaya, you really surprised me. Where have you been?" zilgwin said a little surprised.

"Sorry brother. I didn't mean that. I just got off the balcony. The view here is so beautiful. Oh yeah, I heard you talking about sleeping pills. Since when do you consume it?" ask Kanaya again.

"I never take sleeping pills. It's just that Lee gave me the wrong medicine" Zilgwin replied as he stretched his body.

"Indeed, before what did you order? Is brother sick?" Kanaya asked back.

"No. Aky's not sick at all. That, what, Lee gave me medicine." Zilgwin replied pausing.

He was ashamed to tell Kanaya the truth.

Zilgwin was afraid that Kanaya would consider him an underpowered man.

"What medicine?" kanaya asked curiously.

"That's not really a drug. But it can be said as a vitamin for endurance only. We do not know how the condition and health in this country of people," replied Zilgwin reasoned.

"Yes, yes, too. Why don't I think about it until there. Yes already, if the medicine is wrong, how about we go to the pharmacy to buy the vitamins," proposes Kanaya while folding the blanket that has been released from Zilgwin's body.

"Ok doesn't matter. Then I'll take a shower first. I had an important meeting this morning, but not for long. I'll go home as soon as I can and take you for a walk around Sidney" replied Zilgwin, who remembered his plans to visit Laura's house to ask for an explanation from him.

A few moments later, Zilgwin finished his bath and changed his clothes. After breakfast with Kanaya, Zilgwin decided to leave. He was impatient to meet with Laura and hear the explanation of the ex-wife who he had known had died in the tragedy of the accident.

"Kanaya, I'm leaving first huh. You don't papa live alone?" zilgwin said goodbye to Kanaya.

"Yes, no papa. Be careful on the road, yes" answered Kanaya kissing the back of her husband's hand.

"I should be able to meet Laura today as well" Zilgwin murmured as he was on his way to Laura's house.

Not long after, Zilgwin arrived at Laura's compound. He observed the movement of his ex-wife's house, until a few minutes later Steve was seen leaving the house.

Not wasting a chance, Zilgwin put his hat and mask on and went down and walked to Laura's house.

Zilgwin pressed the bell button near his door and waited for some time.

"Darling you why come home la.." said Laura who was cut off from her house. Laura thought if Steve came back again to pick up something to leave behind. However, Laura was a little surprised as she still saw that there was a well-built man standing before her at this moment.

"Who are you?" laura asked, twitching her eyebrows.

Hearing Laura's question, Zilgwin then opened his hat, glasses and mask.

Laura who was curious was surprised by the person in front of her.

"Zi.. The Zi.. Zilgwin?" laura was nervous.

He could not believe what was in front of him right now.

"Yes, it's Zilgwin. Are you surprised? Hmmmm?" zilgwin answered, asking.

"You.. Ye.. Why are you here?" asked Laura shock.

"Why am I here? I should have asked like that Laura. Why are you here, then,? Didn't you die in a plane crash that time? Or the...Did you intentionally camouflage your death so you could huduo with Steve? Your first love?" zilgwin said that made Laura pale.

"Zil, no.. Nope.. That's not what I meant. Steve and I met by accident. He helped me and finally we.. We." answered Laura.

"And finally you live happily on top of my suffering and Kenzie. Aye right?" zilgwin asked still trying hard to hold back his emotions.

"If so, why?" yelled at someone who had just arrived. He is Steve, Zilgwin's best friend who has now become the wife of Laura, his ex-wife.

"Steve," said Zilgwin clenched his hand.

"Zilgwin, we haven't seen each other in a long time. How are you after the death of your wife? Oh yes, meet Laura, my wife, this is Laura" Steve said, his wife told Zilgwin.

"Learnest of Steve. Love me, your own friend. Do you know that Laura and I have a child?" reply Zilgwin emotions. His breathing felt tight as he tried to control his emotions.

"Haha, me? Lo nikung? You realize that Laura and I have known each other for a long time, even I have known him long before you know Laura. If you don't believe it, you just ask Laura who the man she loved until this moment," said Steve makes Zilgwin immediately look at Laura asking for answers to his questions.

"I'm sorry Zilgwin, even though we have children, I can't forget Steve. Steve was right, I love him so much. She is my first love and will be my last, too" Laura replied, breaking Zilgwin's heart into pieces.
