Chapter 2: In The Plane

As the sun goes down, the five teenagers sit in airport seats, waiting for their plane to go on their next adventure. Their suitcases full of dreams and hopes lie next to them. In the crowd of terminals, they felt separated from the world for a moment, capturing this moment to reflect and chat.

They opened the food box they had brought from home. Amidst the nuggets and sandwiches, they tell each other about the memories at school and the hopes for their trip. James asked a funny question that invited laughter, making the atmosphere more relaxed.

"Ok, guys, I have a question for you guys. If you could choose one food that represents you, what would it be?" james said with a smile.

Leo answered quickly, "Pizza. I mean, who can resist the delicacy of pizza?"

"I chose sushi. There are so many variations and colors, like our different personalities," Maya said with a laugh.

Claire thought for a moment, then said, "I chose pasta. Like a well-established life, but it can also be flexible and creative."

Nathaniel added, "I am the meatball. It feels simple but has a surprising depth, like life."

Laughing, James said, "We really are a balanced food team. But we also know how to mix everything into a delicious dish, just like our adventures will."

Suddenly, the announcement to board their plane was heard over the loudspeakers. With a pounding heart, they grabbed their suitcases and walked towards the waiting plane. As he stepped through the door of the plane, a mixed feeling of nervousness and excitement filled their chests.

They sat in the seats of first-class aircraft, their eyes looking at the windows and looking at other planes passing by. A feeling of victory and gratitude felt. They felt like adventurers who would explore a new world, without limits.

"It turns out, sitting in this first-class chair is more comfortable than I imagined," Leo said as he leaned into the padded chair.

"Rubber too. But remember, we also have a responsibility to make every moment of this journey meaningful" Claire said.

As the plane took off, they felt a slow vibration beneath them. It felt like setting foot on the threshold of a new world. In a few moments, the planes were in space, and their gaze was fixed on the stunning starry sky.

After a while of flying, the flight attendant came with food. They enjoy delicious dishes, while continuing to talk about their plans in the next country. They compile a list of places they want to visit and the experiences they want to experience.

After eating, a quiet moment allowed them to ponder. Leo looked up at the night sky through the window, saying, "Crazy, we're really on the plane to a true adventure. It's like a dream come true."

"And we know, this dream is not just for us. We have a responsibility to take lessons from every place we visit and share our stories with the world" Maya said sincerely.

Just then, a middle-aged man sitting next to Nathaniel asked the question, "Sorry, I can't help but hear your conversation. What made you so enthusiastic about this journey?"

They looked at each other, and Nathaniel replied, "We got a visa reward that allowed us to explore the world. This is an irreplaceable opportunity to learn, grow, and experience life in a variety of cultures."

The man smiled, "You guys really have an incredible spirit of adventure. I hope you can inspire others to see the world with new eyes."

They talked to the man for the rest of the trip, heard his travel story and shared about their plans. As the plane prepares to land, they feel connected to the man who was previously just a stranger.

As the plane finally lands gently on the runway, the five teenagers know they have embarked on an adventure that will not only change their lives, but it also exerts influence on others they meet along the way.

With hearts filled with passion and hope, they stepped out of the plane and into the boundless world.
