The Ultimate Principality System

The Ultimate Principality System
Chapter 5 - The Prince Who Saved the Girl

On the next day. I hurriedly left though by leaving behind the remaining Orc meat.

I felt weird eating it, so I left it there and it rotted.

Instead, I've prepared a bit of wolf body pieces.

That will probably be enough to help me when in a condition that requires treatment.

But there is still less.

"I have to find a city." Yeah, if it keeps going like this.

Not only would I feel exhausted from lack of sleep, but it would be fatal if my concentration decreased because of it.

So, I went in one direction of the territory and followed the path of the river.

I thought doing it would take me somewhere.

"Hmmmm?" My eyes paused for a moment to see something emerging from the water.

There were some bubbles and a little back of something that showed itself.

I felt strange about it, so with this hand I took a stone and threw it into the river.

"AwWwuGhHhh!!!" My eyes turned in disbelief as the voice just appeared right after I hit it.

"That's a crocodile?!" I decided to stay away from the river.

And the crocodiles stopped chasing.

I don't know why they decided to retreat, but from what I saw it looks like this thing looks smart.

Yes, I did not benefit when I was in the water.

And, also ... It would be a worst-case scenario if I got surrounded by some of those animal species over there.

"Oh ... Some have appeared." Eyes observing.

There are a few more bubbles coming out and sure, the owner is a herd of crocodiles moving in one direction.

If you look more carefully, I can even find them targeting someone ... Hm?

"Wait, what?!"

***

I don't know why there's someone in the woods like this.

But from that incident, I found someone lying unconscious there, precisely on the river bank.

She's a little girl who, in my old world, looked like a kid from elementary school.

I quickly ran over to the girl no matter how much the crocodile was approaching me right now.

The distance on land is shorter than through water.

So, I outperformed the crocodile's moving speed.

"Oi, are you okay?" I don't think he's taking a nap or anything, because at some point I found a red stain on his shirt. "This girl must be in trouble."

Between choosing to save or not, I would prefer not to waste time thinking about it.

Inevitably I had to do it until the end even though it meant that I had to serve some crocodiles who looked dissatisfied.

"To-please ... I ... Very ..." I then turned to someone whose head was on my right hand now.

The girl's mouth spoke indistinctly, I took out the wolf meat in small size and put it into the girl's body.

"Nhuk ..."

"What's going on?" Like the girl refused the incoming food.

Wait, wouldn't it work if you put something in and made it heal?

[Tells, master ... This may sound strange, but only you can recover from eating your hunted monsters.]

In other words, that power is special just for me?

On the one hand I feel proud and special because of that.

But on the other hand, the other I was disappointed.

"GggooAarRRgGhhh!" The crocodile that had reached a distance of several meters from me immediately started its attack.

I then jumped up and got the girl in my arms to dodge.

"If it's like this, I think I can only escape." Load, I mean, it would be hard to use a sword if both hands were used to hold the child's body.

After passing through a life-threatening siege, I finally left the riverfront territory.

***

"Can you still survive?" I looked at this boy.

He's still a little hard to open his eyes.

One thing I could do was wet the part of his head near his eyes with a little water and force him to get up.

"I ... Ummm ... Water ..." I shook my head and gave her a bottle full of water.

*Note: It was the water that Lein collected before continuing the journey following the river path.

"What's your name?"

"Sistine ..." The girl despite the difficulty of speaking, she was still able to put out a sentence that could be caught by this ear.

I then let him rest for a while, maybe he needed that.

"And, it seems like he's a human being."

So look, if there is him here of course it means at least somewhere not far from here, there must be a city or village.

I found the answer afterwards, that for me to go there, maybe this girl could be my guide if she could still survive.

And, it seemed like he had only a slight scratch on his stomach and back.

It's not too bad I think, it looks like it'll get better in a few days.

So, in this way I feel no regret for saving her.
