Queen 59's. Odor of Intention

The sound of horse shoes is mutually unpretentious. The sound of the chicken kokokan sounds so loud that it signifies the dawn is soon to break. Hyeon's horse started to enter the capital's gates. There were so many soldiers standing guard. Hyeon certainly felt a little something else than usual.

" What's going on?"

" Honor Your Majesty the King, we were ordered by Commander Kyung Sam to stand guard."

" Commander Kyung Sam, where is he now?"

" His Majesty replied, he is in the palace."

Hyeon again drove his horse followed by Du Ho and Yesung behind. Wool felt a little weird. Not a single citizen was active. Usually though it was still a little dark, they had already passed by.

" Isn't this a noble freak, there isn't a single citizen outside the house."

" You're right my queen. Let's get to the palace. Your brother must have his reasons for everything that's happening right now."

Hyeon, Wool and the others finally arrived at the gate of the palace. Everyone seemed relieved to see the arrival of the king and his queen. Along with Kyung Sam and Jae Hwan, the two immediately ran over to their sister and hugged Wool so tightly.

" Thank God, thank God nothing happened to you."

" First brother, second brother, I'm fine. Good thing Pyeha came to help."

Jae Hwan and Kyung Sam instantly see Hyeon together. They thanked Hyeon. They also entered the palace. Before Hyeon asks Kyung Sam already explained in advance what happened in the capital.

Hyeon breathed a sigh of relief when she found out that the blood caterpillar problem was sorted out. Soon Dae Jung and In Jae come together.

" His Majesty the King."

" His Majesty the Queen."

Hyeon and Wool looked at each other. It seemed like both of their right hands each had important news.

" What's Dae Jung doing?"

" It's about the glorious Sung Won. Apparently Sung Won was indeed planning a rebellion against his highness. And the mastermind behind yesterday's outbreak was Myung Ki Sung Won's younger brother. He also invited some palace officials to defect you."

Dugs

Kyung Sam tapped his sword on the floor of the Palace. He's really furious. How can those who have been given power and office defected.

Hyeon was wasting his breath rudely, he did not expect that this would happen in his leadership era. He looked at Dae Jung sharply, Dae Jung nodded his head and immediately resigned.

" This noble one is about concubine Da Eun. He's dead."

Hyeon and Wool were certainly not surprised, but the others were very surprised. Wool calmly invites everyone there to see Da Eun for the last time.

In the cold palace looks Boram who curled up in fear. Apparently he saw Da Eun's charred body. That girl looks so pathetic. For a moment Dasom pityed his companion.

Next to Da Eun's coffin is Tabib Kwang. Physician Kwang saluted the king and his queen. He opens Da Eun's chest. All were shocked to see Da Eun's charred body. Even the stench of rotten smell emanated from the body.

" Healer Kwang, close the crate. Immediately bury. Not at the royal family's funeral, but just bury it outside."

" Good noble, as your request."

Although Wool and Hyeon see Da Eun's soul burning and melting, but they never thought that her body would be charred.

" The black magic. There seems to be an exchange one made for Da Eun's soul."

Hearing Jae Hwan's answer to Kyung Sam's question makes Wool remember something. He remembered Ae Ran's words earlier during the fight.

" I'm going to kill that woman so you can get back into your body" Ae Ran obviously said.

" I know, he traded my soul for Da Eun. One of us has to die. And my and Hyeon's togetherness is their weakness. Ae Ran Da Eun's mother vows to destroy the royal family. She used Da Eun as her destroyer and my arrival broke all her plans. If Da Eun becomes queen then I will die. And just the opposite."

Kyung Sam nodded in understanding, he himself did not expect his youngest brother to be very calm facing all that.

" Well, it's time to face a real enemy."

Everyone agrees with Kyung Sam. Hyeon went back into his room. There's already Eunuch Nam. Apparently Eunuch Nam had prepared the armor that Hyeon would use. Even Hyeon's sword was ready.

The sword with the handle of the eagle's head seemed to glow. That sword was the sword that Hyeon had specially used to be on the battlefield.

" Are you ready, your majesty?"

" More than you know Eunuch Nam."

Eunuch Nam smiled. He also drove his king to the palace grounds. But apparently Hyeon wants to meet Gyeo Wool first in his residence.

When he got inside, Hyeon was surprised to see the appearance of his wife. Gyeo Wool stood handsomely with a harness that was also attached to her body.

" You, why are you dressed so."

Wool smiled, he then asked Dasom and Eunuch Ho to come out of his room. After the two people came out Wool hugged Hyeon tightly.

" I want to be with you to take care of this country."

" But~"

Hyeon had not finished his words, Wool had already silenced Hyeon's mouth with a kiss. They sipped each other for a moment until Wool broke the kiss.

" I don't want to wait for you here with worry. I want to be next to you."

Hyeon hugged Wool. Pleasure mixed worry into one. But as Hyeon forbids for sure Wool will still come eventually he agreed to Wool's desire to go down to the battlefield.

" All right let's face it together."

The king and queen came out together wearing their armor and carrying their swords. Both look handsome. All the eyes of the palace residents were glued to see the couple.

The concubines then came out of their respective residences and faced the king and queen. They saluted them respectfully.

" Thank you, I've got your regards. But there's something I have to say. You saw our clothes, didn't you? I'm sure you already know that me and the queen are going to war. We don't know who will win. Our side or the enemy. One thing I offer you is freedom. You can choose to stay or leave. But I can't promise you victory. You must know, if we lose then you will be slaves to the spoils of war so please choose."

The concubines looked at each other, their current dilemma. But there was someone who dared to speak up in the midst of their turmoil.

" I'm sorry your majesty the king and queen. It is not that the servant does not love this country but the servant chooses to leave. I pray that the kings and queens may be safe and prosperous."

" Well if that's your decision. I really appreciate it. Go through the back door, the soldiers will deliver you safely to your destination."

Apparently what one of the concubines did was followed by another concubine. Hyeon was seen smiling with satisfaction as she watched all her concubines leave. Wool was certainly surprised by Hyeon's behavior. She looked at her husband and said, "I smell the smells of will."
