"A-pa should we do now, Mbah?" ask Sarkim while closing his nose tightly. Several times he endured a surge of nausea that stifled the chest. Jawah Kepala Kampung was among the berserk thoughts, "We wait until Juanda Juragan comes later, Kim." The young man pointed to the bottom of the tomb, then said, "But the condition of the body's neck is like—"
"I know, Sarkim," said Mbah Jarwo, "that we must not act rashly before everything is clear. Understand you?"
"Bye-yeah, Mbah. S-i .. hhoeeekkk!"
The old figure was snorting. "Damn it! You vomited near me. Huh!" his curse with a disgust grin adorned the look of his face. Though he himself from earlier tried to resist the same thing, once the aroma from inside the grave began to crack.
"Sorry, Mbah, s-me .. can't stand .. hooeekkkk!" Sarkim again took out the stock of the contents of his stomach until coughing.
"Far away from here, Sarkim!" jendak Mbah Jarwo also felt severe nausea instantly. "Hooeek! Ahhhh!"
They immediately moved away from the tomb pit and sought fresh air to simply loosen their breathing. The stench was still vaguely following the gust of morning wind.
Not long after, a perlente man arrived with other figures following from behind. His face looked cloudy with the scent of wrath emanating from both eyeballs.
"The Juragan! Thank goodness, you've finally come!" mbah Jarwo exclaimed so to recognize the new figure that came.
"What happened to my son's grave, Mbah?" ask Juragan Juanda while looking at the tomb. Replied the Head of Sirnagalih Village later, "I can not confirm further, Juragan. Since then just be on guard from the possibility of unwanted things. I have not dared to act anything."
Juragan Juanda said, "Hhmmm." The man asked, "Who first saw my son's grave?"
"Sarkim, Juragan," replied Mbah Jarwo while pointing at the young figure beside him. Sarkim held up his index finger and also said in a trembling voice, "I-iya, myself, Nurse."
The eyes of Juragan Juanda are sharpening. "When did you find the grave in this state, Sarkim?"
Sarkim glanced for a moment at Uyat who stood among the people of Juragan Juanda's innate, then replied broken in fear, "P-morning earlier, Juragan. Exactly so early. S-I immediately ran to tell the residents and met with Mr. Uyat in the middle of the road. Then we both report on—"
Tukas Mbah Jarwo instantaneously, "Yes, Nurse. They came straight to report to me. I kept telling Uyat to tell you right then and there. While me and Sarkim rushed here just in case."
Juragan Juanda thought for a moment. "How many people know about the demolition of my son's grave?" he returned to Mbah Jarwo and Sarkim.
The old figure of the Village Chief turned to Sarkim. "Who are you telling me, Kim?"
Sarkim replied in fear, "Only Mr. Uyat and Mbah alone."
"You sure?" Juragan Juanda wanted to convince.
"Bye-yeah, Juragan. Of course I am sure," replied Sarkim as he glanced at Uyat. "Right, right, Mr Uyat?" tanyanya asked for affirmation.
Juragan Juanda along with those present there, simultaneously turned towards the same figure. Uyat replied with a great heartbeat, "Yes, Juragan. I think so too."
Everyone who was there was also relieved.
"Then, what will you do with the grave of this deceased Sukaesih, Juragan?" Ask Mbah Jarwo. "Are we not going to report it to the authorities?"
"No need, Mbah," replied Juragan Juanda. "Now, let no one know anything about this."
"Lho, why, Juragan? Doesn't this include a crime? We have to investigate this incident and find the perpetrator—"
"Don't talk to me, Mbah!" yelling Juragan Juanda jerking. "I know that! But I don't want this case to spread outside the village!"
"I'm sorry then, Juragan," Mbah Jarwo said, bowing his head. "I'm just trying—"
"My family is still grieving, Mbah," the perlente man said coldly. "I don't want my wife to come back later. Suffice the story of our son, Sukaesih, stop here. Let him sleep well all the time."
"I understand, Juragan," said the Head of the Village chose to budge, even though he really wanted to know the perpetrators of the demolition of the graves of its citizens.
Then Juragan Juanda Wiratadiredja ordered the people he brought earlier to immediately hoard the sinkhole Sukaesih. "Do it as soon as anyone sees us here!"
"Okay, Juragan!" answer them in unison. Then everything immediately descended into the tomb with the hoe clasped tightly in hand. One of the men was whispered by Juragan Juanda before performing the task. The figure then nodded, then joined the others. The rest stood around the edge of the grave including Mbah Jarwo, Uyat, and Sarkim.
"After this work is done, we gather in a saung in my garden. Everything, without exception," Juragan Juanda said as he glanced at Mbah Jarwo and the two men beside him, Uyat and Sarkim. "There's something I want to talk about with all of you" he added, followed by nods of the figures.
Sarkim and Uyat looked at each other. Whisper one of them while paying attention to the process of reducing the Sukaesih grave, "Juragan want to say what, yes, sir? Is he going to sue me?"
"demand what? What are you wrong, Kim?"
"I don't know myself" said Sarkim, overwhelmed with questions and worries. "But I'm afraid, he might suspect that I'm the one who's doing the demolition of his son's grave."
"Hmmm, you did it?"
"Of course not, sir," said Sarkim. "How could I have done something so stupid. Anyway, what do you do? Sukaesih died unnaturally, sir. Suicide. I'm even afraid his spirit he's gonna shake."
"Ssttt, watch your words, Kim," Uyat reminded. "When you look at Juragan Juanda, he'll be offended."
Quickly Sarkim covered his mouth with his palm. He glanced for a moment at the richest figure in Sirnagalih Village. It looks Juragan Juanda is focusing on paying attention to his errand boy who is tidying up the graves of Sukaesih.
"I'm still amazed, sir," the young man added moments later. Uyat turned his head and asked, "What's more, Kim?"
"Juragan Guanda …."
Uyat turned his head for a moment towards the perlente man earlier. "Why with him, Kim?"
Sarkim thought for a moment before answering. "Why doesn't he want this to be reported to the police? Does he not want to know who did it, arrested, or—"
"Ssttt, didn't he just give a reason? You heard it too, right?"
