Edo's suspicions

Edo is in the operating room. He was waiting for Marlin who was in surgery to remove a bullet lodged in his chest.

Even so panicked, Edo ordered his men to pick up Mirna's aunt.

An hour passed. The operation was over and the doctor came out of the room. Edo rushed to the doctor who treated Marlin to ask how the man was doing.

" How's he doing, Doctor?" ask Edo to worry.

" The situation is stable. Lucky the bullet didn't hit his heart, he was just being drugged. We'll move her to her treatment room after this" the doctor said.

" Thank you, Doctor."

The doctor nodded and immediately left from Edo's presence.

While elsewhere. Precisely in a warehouse that has just been used to hold Marlin.

Edwin peeked at some people who were carrying Edward's stiff body. The woman was shocked and shut her mouth to see her husband who was lifeless.

Yep. Edwin returns to the warehouse to tell Edward where Cleo is. But what he got, he instead saw the husband who was stiff lifeless and was buried by Edo's men.

" I'll make sure they die in my hands" said Edwin growled with a stifled yet quivering voice.

The middle-aged woman seemed to be restraining her emotions. She is deeply grudged by the death of Edward, her husband.

" I promise you, Edward. I'll make them die in my hands, sooner or later."

The woman clenched her hands tightly. Her tears dripped and streaks of anger emanated from the look on her face and her red eyes.

Then he moved his foot back out of the place. After seeing Edo's men who had gone away.

Now that Cleo is out of the hospital, she becomes quiet if there is no Bryan beside her.

Reza can't do anything. He only continued to hold back his emotions when the woman never answered every greeting made by him.

He understands and is aware of his mistakes that may have been fatal. The baby is gone because of his own actions.

Cleo was now in the backyard of her mansion. He stared at the green grass with a blank look.

Cellphone ringing. He immediately turned to the flat object beside him. The name of Edo was there and it was quite a relief.

He reviewed the thin smile on his lips and hurried to grab the phone and slide the green button there until the call was connected.

" Hello, Brother. When are you gonna pick me up?"

Edo stunned. She was so shocked when she heard the words from her sister when her phone connection was connected.

His frown indicated that he was thinking hard. What happened to her sister until she asked when she would pick her up.

" What's up? is there a problem? did Reza do you any harm? just say it, let brother directly teach him a lesson" Reza said.

Cleo did not answer. His lips smiled when he heard the concern of the older brother he had not met for a long time.

Yep. After hearing Cleo's decision a few months ago. Edo decides to return to his country, where his family company stands.

He entrusted his sister to Reza. He was very confident that the man would take good care of his sister.

" No, sis. I'm doing fine. I just want to take a vacation and meet you. I miss my sister and want to stay with you for a few weeks" Cleo told the court.

" What about Bryan?" ask Edo.

" I'll take her on vacation, brother. Because he's on a long holiday" Cleo said.

Edo seemed to think. He was sure something must have happened there, but Cleo wouldn't tell him.

' Okay. I'll investigate her myself, ' Inner Edo.

" sister. But I asked my brother to ask Reza for permission. I'm afraid she won't let me go on vacation if I ask her permission myself" Cleo continued.

Edo was suspicious.

" Well, I'll call Reza to inform you of your plan" Edo said.
