Episode 1's

"Sa, called the boss to the room" said one of the boss' bodyguards, Gery.

"Okay, thank you, Ger." Alyssa smiled. After that he tidied up a bit of his clothes and left his desk to meet the boss.

It's nothing, he works as a secretary in a pretty big company, again his boss is a perfectionist, so he should always keep his appearance.

Arriving in front of the room Alyssa sighed several times. When he was ready, he went inside.

It seemed that Endru was waiting for him inside. The 60-year-old man had indeed considered Alyssa as his daughter, until the moment he reached Endru greeted him with a warm smile.

"Sit, Sa."

"Good, sir." Alyssa returned an Endru smile after that she sat in the chair facing directly to the CEO of this company.

"What did you call me?" Ask Alyssa.

Endru. "From tomorrow I won't lead this company."

Alyssa started deg-degan, does that mean she will be fired from today? Really, he's not ready to be fired.

"I'm going to hand this company over to my only son who just came home from America."

"Sorry to interrupt, sir. Not mr–"

"His mother had only allowed the two of us to meet after decades of separation and a week ago my ex-wife died. So now I'm going to leave everything to my son."

"So I was fired, sir?" Alyssa asked doubtfully.

Endru chuckled, he was sure that this question would definitely be thrown from the girl before him.  "No, I've trusted you so much and your performance is good, Sa."

"Therefore from tomorrow you accompany my son and give him complete information about this company. Explain also about the project we are working on and the schedule for the next few weeks," he continued.

Hearing that Alyssa breathed a sigh of relief, she thought she would be fired. He is very afraid, because in this day and age it is very difficult, not to mention the level of his career here is very good.

"Good, Sir. I'll do as much as possible. You don't have to worry."

"Good, that's what I like about you." Then please schedule for tomorrow all employees must welcome it well.

Alyssa nodded, sure. He's been given confidence and it's time he showed that he deserves this trust.

A black SUV is already in front of the lobby, realizing it's all employees lining up to give the company's new chief CEO and subsidiary a welcome speech.

As the man got out of the car, everyone was blown away by his good looks. The man was tall and sturdy, his skin was white, his body was stocky, everyone was definitely stunned especially the women. It is not wrong to see from the lineage of Endru Ardan Alarie.

Jevano Gautama Alarie is the only child of Endru and Marisa. They divorced from the age of 3, until he grew up never knowing who his father was.

When he entered the lobby everyone lowered their head while welcoming him warmly and not long after from the opposite direction Endru and Alyssa approached the man.

Alyssa was ordinary at first, but when the man took off his sunglasses and looked at her fixedly, his body instantly twitched and his chest felt claustrophobic given the events of a few years ago that managed to bring him here to avoid the man.

Unlike Alyssa, now that the man looked at her longingly, he had been looking for the girl everywhere to the point of going crazy and now they were met in this place.

"Sorry late, Dad. The streets of Surabaya were jammed. We're having trouble getting through traffic."

Endru patted his son on the shoulder while smiling proudly. "It's okay, like that office, Dad has?"

Jevano nodded his head. "Lumayan, maybe in the future I will renovate a little to make it look more modern."

"Do what you want to do."

Jevano directed his gaze and glanced towards Alyssa. "Dia–"

"He's Dad's secretary and now he's gonna be your secretary, Je. He's a competent man so Dad hopes you can work together."

Endru stared at Alyssa as if asking her to introduce herself.

Alyssa was aware that she was in the office, her professionalism was definitely demanded here. With all his might he tried to smile and extend his hand at Jevano.

"Include me, sir my name is Alyssa Roseana Navier, you can call me Alyssa. Nice to meet you, I hope we can be a good working partner."

Jevano gladly received Alyssa's helping hand, he could feel the hand sweating and being so cold, what was so afraid of Alyssa seeing him? "Jevano Gautama Alarie, nice to meet you, Miss."

Alyssa only smiled stiffly, while Endru only sighed. It turns out that this son inherited his cultural side. But it is very natural indeed especially considering his son who is 28 years old and not married.

Isn't she ready to get married? So it's not good that he's picking from now on?

Getting ready with the welcome Alyssa rushed to the bathroom. Her tightness grew even more reminiscent of the memories of a few years ago that broke her heart.

"I'm bored, let's split up."

"meaning? You're kidding me, aren't you, honey? What am I wrong?" Alyssa asked, whose eyes were already teary, holding back her tears.

"Bored, after all I've found someone new" he said without a doubt.

Alyssa was looking for a crack in the lie from Jevano's eyes, but this eye was looking at him firmly indicating that Jevano was not playing games right now.

"Who?"

"Gistas."

"That's it, Jev? I was wrong until you went out with my own best friend, you bad guy! you're so mean Jev I hate you!" Alyssa drowned the faces in both of her palms. Her tears broke accepting the fact that Jev was that bad at her.

Especially after he cried like this no more warm hugs greeted him, Jev just left without any guilt, leaving Alyssa who with her pain.

They dated for 4 years and at that time Jevano left her for painful reasons. That's why he wanted to go as far away from Jevano's life as possible, until he finally moved to Surabaya with his mother.

Alyssa wiped her tears, 3 years she tried to forget Jevano. Why do they have to meet again? Why is the universe so clever to play with his feelings.

"I hate you, Jevano!" Alyssa who was originally leaning on the door, slowly slumped her body. He again sobbed while hugging both of his bent knees.

It's been 3 years, why does it still feel like this? Why was it still this sick when I saw him back?
