The Wild Empress of the Evil Emperor

The Wild Empress of the Evil Emperor
67. Chapter 67: I'm a Good Man (1)

Everyone could feel Ling Xi's growth in strength.

However, Gu Ruoyun simply looked at him with an indistinct expression.

Ever since the battle began, he felt that something was amiss with Ling Xi's cultivation base, as if it was unstable. This meant that although he might seem like a Martial Soldier, his original strength was only as high as level 7 of the Qi collection ranks. But did his master not warn him about the disadvantages of practicing this cultivation technique? Did he know that he COULD NEVER use whatever ultimate offensive technique he had? He might deal the same damage as an actual Martial Warrior with this technique, but it would cost him his ability to cultivate again in this lifetime!

He sacrificed his entire life force - only to avenge it.

"Ha ha ha!" Ling Xi laughed heartily amidst the chaos. The malice and revenge had completely consumed the slightest bit of humanity left in him. "Don't blame me for what I'm going to do, Gu Ruoyun! You signed the waiver, so now I'll fulfill the requirements. Say hello to your mother and father!"

A cold white light reflected from his sword. His presence had shifted right before him. His sword might be cold but it was nothing compared to the crazy and excited grin on his face, which was evoked by the thought that his sword would cut off Gu Ruoyun-neck

Destroy it!

In an attempt to defend himself, Gu Ruoyun managed to find a wooden stick for herself and she swung it when Ling Xi was about to attack. The roar blocked the sword, fending off its physical attack, but the energy of the two fighters pitted against each other, emitting a shock wave of light that shattered all the debris it came into contact with. The ground shook because of that power.

After that, there was blood.

Blood flowed down from his arm where a shockwave had tore through his wound. A red liquid dripped down, pooling around Gu Ruoyun, painting a strange picture of her in the middle.

Ling Xi was not the least bit shaken. He sneered, and in the next millisecond, he somehow stepped into his personal space, right behind him.

Humans always had an instinctive feeling when someone was watching them intensely, and Gu Ruoyun acted on that instinct, twisting her body - just in time to see the sword coming slashing down her forehead, and heard the man's hateful voice,

"The servant you brought to me in the Heavenly Spirit Formation... Shame.. I'll give it all back to you! Die, Gu Ruoyun!"

The shout seemed to echo from his sword as he swung it at his head. He had completely forgotten Shi Yun's request...

"NO!" Shi Yun's expression darkened. "Gu Ruoyun cannot be killed this way - her mental energy will be gone! Ling Xi is a moron-you ruined everything!"

Already late. There's nothing he can do to interrupt

"You motherfucker! Stop right there!"

Elder Yu had not expected to see this scene as he rushed home from work. It's so bad for his heart!

In fact, this is very, very, and very bad. If the young master knew this... If he knew what had happened to Gu Ruoyun, the head would have rolled in the Azure Dragon Kingdom. That year when the young master heard that his beloved eldest sister was trapped in a difficult place, he stormed into the Azure Dragon Kingdom with thunderstorm clouds and lightning. He must be forcibly arrested and dragged home by his own Master, with an additional few years punished as penance!

The young master is not basically a rebellious person. He's a good person - as long as no one hurts the people he cares about. But behold, her favorite Lady Gu is here, a few inches from death by the hands and swords of that Ling family bastard! Anyone could imagine how furious the young master was. He had to relive the pain of losing another relative – The bitter anger born from within would be so great that even Master would not be able to endure it this time!

Ling Xi, you bastard* bastard!!!!
