Xiji Forest.
Xiao Fan looked towards the spirit beast that was eating the grass there. The goat-like spirit beast attracted Xiao Fan. He continued to look at the goat that had the green pattern.
“I have never read about the Spirit Beast, I only know that there is a Spirit Beast in this world.” Xiao Fan was really interested in the spirit beast in front of him.
Realizing something was wrong, the goat looked around him. Xiao Fan did not have time to hide making himself known by the goat. The goat's gaze sharpened when it saw Xiao Fan sitting on the shady tree trunk.
The goat makes its distinctive sound ‘mbeekkkk.’ The air around it was seen condensing creating various vortexes near the goat. Highlights of the goat eyes showed sharp silhouettes and various slash projectiles attacking towards Xiao Fan.
Swish Swish Swish Swish.
Xiao Fan was a little surprised. However, he immediately regained his senses and smiled. Xiao Fan leaped onto the other tree trunk, making the wind slash projectile slash the tree trunk earlier into small boxes.
“A very strong attack. Actually being at what level was this Spirit Beast?” Xiao Fan was surprised to see the delicate wind projectile piece, he wondered what level the spirit beast was at in front of him.
Swish Swish Swish Swish.
Xiao Fan paused the question when he heard the sound of another wind slash projectile. Xiao Fan's eyes stared at the wind projectile, he smiled and jumped through the middle of the wind slash projectile.
Wush.
“Former Wind Gods fight with lowly wind-controlling Spirit Beasts, it will be the laughingstock of the Gods in Hell later.” Xiao Fan said to himself with a small laugh.
Xiao Fan then looked towards the goat that was shooting at high speed. However, to Xiao Fan it was just a normal run. The wind solidified and coated Xiao Fan's feet, as the feet met the surface of the ground, Xiao Fan darted after the goat.
Wushhhh.
The goat glanced back for a bit, then it created a continuous wind slash projectile while running. Xiao Fan stared at the wind slash projectile, he smiled and moved his finger.
The Sring Sring.
The wind slash projectile disappeared instantly. The goat was shocked and the spirit beast sensed danger from Xiao Fan. Quickly the spirit beast added to its running speed. The spirit beast was only the focus of one escaping from the pursuit of Xiao Fan.
“Hehehaha, you really are a cute Spirit Beast. First you attacked me and now you hope to escape.” Xiao Fan's wild laughter was heard by the goat, making the goat tremble in fear.
Xiao Fan slightly added the wind power on his feet, making him dart faster than before. The goat saw that, he focused and tried to run in the twists and turns of the tree called life.
Xiao Fan did not care about it, as he understood the entire structure of the Xiji forest made himself easily move in pursuit. Arriving near the goat, Xiao Fan moved his fingers.
The Sring Sring Sring.
Instantly the running goat was surprised and fell hard on the ground. Xiao Fan stopped at the tree trunk close to the goat lying down. He smiled when he saw the goat that had fallen on the ground.
The goat fell because Xiao Fan's thread bound the goat's leg very tightly. It made the goat lose its footing, resulting in the Spirit Beast falling to the ground.
“Yeah, the main chase is done. It was late afternoon.” Xiao Fan stared at the setting sun.
“So, goodbye.” Xiao Fan said as he stared at the goat that was lying down below, he moved his fingers to bring up some strands of thread and stuck them in various bodies.
“Finally done, huff I need a storage ring to store this corpse. For some reason, I wanted to dissect this goat for my first experiment in this World.” Xiao Fan let out a long sigh, when he did not have a storage ring.
Xiao Fan became sharp again when he felt the presence of someone darting towards him. Xiao Fan immediately stared towards the person he was in and prepared his Elemental Spirit.
Wushhhh.
“It turns out you're here, too..” The voice appeared and Xiao Fan recognized him, how he didn't recognize it when he heard his father's voice.
Xiao Feng arrived at the location of Xiao Fan, he stared at his son who looked unharmed or had scratches. Xiao Feng let out a sigh of relief but his gaze quickly turned towards the back below Xiao Fan.
“Wind goat, wait.... Son, did you kill that goat?” Xiao Feng asked curiously.
Xiao Fan who was asked the question nodded properly. Xiao Feng was shocked and in his heart felt proud of his son. His son fought a troublesome spirit beast around the territory of his Residence.
“Son, you made Dad proud. As a reward, can you ask for anything within the limits of my ability?” Xiao Feng was really proud of his son.
Xiao Fan was surprised and he felt happy with his father. Xiao Fan calmed himself down and said clearly. “I have 2 requests, Dad. First, I want a storage ring and second, a book about spirit beasts.”
Xiao Feng heard that surprised, he did not expect his son to ask for such a simple thing. Xiao Feng looked towards Xiao Fan and found that his wish was just that. Xiao Feng smiled, he felt his son was not easy to guess.
“For your first request, Dad already bought it.” Xiao Feng brought up a ring with a silver color and a small black jewel in the middle.
Xiao Fan received the ring. His father then asked him to drip his blood into the jewel of the ring. Xiao Fan nodded and dripped his blood. The jewel that was hit by the drops of blood instantly glowed and quickly dimmed back.
“For your second request, I've added books of various things in the library. You can go there to see it later.” Xiao Fan was happy to hear his father's words.
Xiao Fan bowed his body a sign he was truly grateful to his father. Xiao Feng who saw that, patted Xiao Fan on the head and rubbed it. He was really proud of his son.
Xiao Fan finished thanking and stared at the wind goat. He put the body in his storage ring. Xiao Feng saw that could not help but ask.
“Why did you save the Wind Goat's body? If you want to sell and earn money, it can but instead of better asking Dad if about money?” Xiao Fan who heard that shook his head.
“I save the Wind Goat for my experiment materials only, Father.” Xiao Fan said honestly, because he could see the person was good or bad.
Xiao Feng slightly raised his eyebrows in surprise. But he doesn't care about that. Most importantly do not harm his son which will make his wife run amok. Xiao Feng who thought of his wife rampaging could not help but shudder in horror.
“What's up, Dad?” Xiao Fan sensed Xiao Feng was afraid of something, inexplicably Xiao Fan became sharp with it.
“It's okay, let's go home. Before your mother gets angry later.” Xiao Feng said as he let out a cold sweat, Xiao Fan finally understood what scared his father.
Xiao Fan also understood that, after all, his mother was in a really terrible moment of anger. He still remembers the cliff behind the house until it was hollowed out by his mother's punch. Xiao Fan also shuddered in horror at that.
Xiao Fan and Xiao Feng walked home together. They didn't want to make the Lioness wake up because they were late coming home.
