The World For You

The World For You
CHAPTER 30

As usual Arbian days were already in the company from the morning, he checked all important documents with Randi because soon there will be a meeting with other shareholders.

Actually, since Arbian served as CEO at this company initially many objected and wanted to resign, he said, but because of Arbian's hard work and also with his brain work made Maherra's company rose rapidly and now entered into ten major companies in the country.

That's what makes Arbian so workaholic and doesn't give his body a break from work.

"When do we miss this job?" Randi was unable to.

Arbian did not answer or turn, this was his mother's request to continue the papah business which now can no longer stand firmly and must rely on a wheelchair.

"Gue was sure that if Julian was not an only child, there must be a drama where many are eyeing lo position,"

Arbian sighed and glanced sharply at Randi who started to talk a lot.

After a while the two went out and headed for the meeting room, Randi along the way felt a cold sweat.

Meetings with the higher-ups are not often they do, only once a few months or even in a year only twice but the atmosphere is different from ordinary meetings.

Randi opened the meeting room door and saw many cold eyes looking towards them.

Arbian looked relaxed and sat in his chair, his eyes staring expressionlessly at everyone who was in the room.

*

Fietta exited the lecturer's room and walked towards the campus library.

Before Fietta came across Carla who was walking in a doldrums.

"Car," Call Fietta when Carla just looks at her like she's not looking.

Carla turned around and was surprised to see Fietta in front of her.

"Eh, sorry, I'm not focused" Carla said scratching her nape.

Fietta approached Carla and noticed the girl's panda eyes which seemed to have a lot of thoughts.

"Lo all right?" Ask Fietta, actually Fietta some days not meet Carla because he was busy with the task.

"Hm, just dizzy like a thesis," replied Carla forcing a smile.

"Look, we'll have coffee, "Take Fietta and pull Carla's hand towards the cafe near the campus.

There Fietta told Carla to sit down and ordered a drink and took her to Carla.

"Thanks" said Carla.

Fietta smiled then sat down in front of Carla.

"Hero met,"

Carla's sudden speech made Fietta who had looked down now look up.

"But I don't want to, I've tried to forget him," he added.

Fietta was silent and did not respond, this was their problem and Fietta felt unworthy of advice.

Long they were there finally Carla pamit because he wanted to see his guidance lecturer.

Fietta was now sitting alone and watching the not-so-crowded surroundings.

"Excuse me, can you sit here?"

Someone's voice made Fietta turn her head and find a woman who might be Lea's age smiling kindly towards him.

"Ah yes, please," said Fietta as polite as possible.

The woman thanked him and sat down where Carla was sitting.

"You're in college close to here?" Asked the woman and Fietta just nodded.

"My husband is a lecturer and I'm waiting for him here" said the woman again with a smile that did not fade.

*

Arbian massaged his forehead feeling a throbbing in his head, a few minutes ago the meeting was over and he returned to his room.

drt. drt....

The sound of mobile phone vibration in the pants pocket makes Arbian pick it up and see Dion's name on the screen.

"Tick the photo I sent you," Dion said across the street.

"OK,"

After turning off the connection Arbian opened a message from Dion and saw a photo there.

Arbian stared at him for a long time but his eyes sharpened and there was a flash of anger when he saw the photo.

He immediately sought contact and contacted him, but there was no answer until the third call still had no answer.

"****!" His fist broke through his desk and his hands clenched.

*

Fietta got into the car and stared at the window as if pensive. Arriving at the house Fietta immediately entered the room and entered the bathroom to clean themselves.

He came out fully clothed and picked up a cell phone in a bag that had not been turned on at the cafe.

When the phone was on, Fietta was shocked when many missed calls from Arbian.

Fietta, fearing something important, called back Arbian and the three men picked him up.

"Where are you?"

Fietta who wanted to talk immediately shut her mouth, Arbian's voice was different, colder than usual.

"Sorry bi, I'm leaving campus" Fietta said, trying to shake off negative thoughts in her head.

"Who did you meet?" Arbian asked again but his tone was firm.

"Lecturers continue to go to the cafe with Carla" replied Fietta trying to be honest.

"Lied,"

Fietta frowned confused, she had indeed met Carla earlier.

"You lied to Fietta" said Arbian.

Fietta grew increasingly confused to hear Arbian's words.

"Bi, can you clear? I really don't understand" said Fietta, who felt that Arbian had become strange today.

"I saw you meet the woman in the red shirt earlier,"

Fietta finally understood what Arbian was talking about.

"Yes, she waited for her husband bi, she said her husband was a lecturer and we had a little chat" Fietta explained.

"Keep away from the woman if you ever see her again" Arbian's tone grew sharp as it held in anger.

"Why bi? you know that woman?"

"I SAID JAHIN!"

Fietta gasped at the crack, only this time Fietta heard Arbian's tone.

"Bi, I-" Fietta's speech was cut off by Arbian's speech.

"I'm busy, I'll call you back later,"

Fietta stared at her phone screen as Arbian instantly disconnected. He sat on the edge of the bed in a daze and was still digesting what had happened just now.

He wondered why Arbian's attitude today changed and what was the relationship between Arbian and the woman until Arbian snapped at him.

Fietta's head felt dizzy thinking that, he then broke down his body and held his eyes so that his tears would not fall.

New to happiness but now Fietta begins to doubt his life, should he not feel happiness or love?

Fietta closed her eyes and involuntarily fell asleep with her hand tightly grasping her phone.

Arbian placed the phone on the table violently then leaned his body on the back of the chair with a rough sigh.

He tried to relieve his emotions that increased because of the actions of his papa affair that once made his family on the verge of destruction and made the mama always cry every night.

Arbian clenched his hands and stared at the hate of the family photo on the edge of his desk, more precisely at the figure of the adult man in the photo who embraces his son and his wife.
