Titian Love Nadia
Bagaskara Raka

This morning the air was still cold. Birds chirping alight from one branch moving to the other. The butterfly is also not absent to peek at nectar as its food supply.

It had been two days that Nadia had left for college alone without Rasya. Her husband has been in Surakarta for two days to meet the invitation as a speaker in an educational seminar organized by a college in Surakarta.

Today is Rasya's third day in Solo. Before she wakes up and does her daily chores, Nadia calls her husband to wake him up. He was still wrapped in blankets and pillows.

"Assalamu'alaikum, My dear Wife. Have you had a shower yet?" sapa Rasya teased in her phone connection.

"Wa'alaikumussalam, My Beloved Husband. I was lazy to get up early, no husband by my side," replied Nadia lazily.

"So you're not awake yet, honey? What time is it? It's just neat and it's breakfast, '" Rasya said.

"Mas, kangen. There is no spirit Mas Rasya," said Nadia spoiled.

"Mas's kangen too, honey. Tomorrow afternoon we will return to Jakarta. After that we release kangen yes," promised Rasya. "Yes, honey. Mas has been waiting for breakfast by a teammate," said Rasya.

"Well, it's still missing." Nadia sulking.

"Later noon is connected again with rest, promise," persuaded Rasya.

"Yes. I also want to get ready to go to college, Mas," Nadia collapsed.

"Assalamu'alaikum, dear. See you later yeah, emmmuach ...."

"Wa'alaikumussalam, emmuach ...."

Nadia put her phone directly into her college backpack. He grabbed a towel and immediately broke into the bathroom. No need to be perfumed, Nad, at least there is no husband too. Sure enough, it only took him 10 minutes to get out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped around his chest.

Nadia immediately changed clothes with lightning fast. Then slightly polish his face with just the day cream. After feeling enough, he grabbed his backpack and went downstairs. Arriving at the dining room, she saw that Ms. Nastiti was serving her husband.

"Good morning, Mother, Father" Nadia said to her parents-in-law.

"Right done, honey. Ready to go to college, right?" said Ms. Nastiti.

"Yes, Mom. It just so happened that this morning there was a quiz" Nadia said.

"When do you get home, Nad?" asked Mr. Baskoro after Nadia began to bribe rice into his mouth.

"Today he said the last day of the seminar, sir, the therapy he said he wanted to stop by Klaten to meet Miss Lek Milarsih," replied Nadia.

"What's? To Klaten? Doesn't he know that Leknya's mom has moved?" asked Miss Nastiti surprised.

"Moved?Move where, Mom?" ask Nadia.

"Still in Klaten too. So no need to worry, then he can call again" replied Ms. Nastiti.

"Nadia left first, Mom. Must pick up Tania first thing," said Nadia in a hurry.

"Who do you want to drive to, honey?" ask Miss Nastiti.

"I want to drive myself, just bring Mas Rasya's car, Mom. Let's not get bored waiting for an invitation," replied Nadia.

"You have the courage to bring your own car, be careful driving it," said Ms. Nastiti.

"Yes, Mom," said Nadia. He did not forget to kiss the backs of his parents' hands.

"Kok mom was so afraid that Rasya finally found out about Raka yes, sir," said Nastiti worried after Nadia was not seen in the room.

"Leave it, Mom. It's time he found out. I am sure Rasya can handle it wisely. He's not the ABG anymore like he used to be" said Pak Baskoro.

"But I'm more worried about Nadia, sir," said Ms. Nastiti again.

"Mother calm your mind. Don't worry about something that hasn't happened, I'm sure everything will be fine" Mr. Baskoro comforted his wife.

While Nadia was driving Rasya's car, now she has reached Tania's yard. Nadia honks to tell Tania that she has arrived.

"Well, you dare to bring the lecturer's car to campus, Nad? Are you ready to be the bulian material of your campus residents?" cerocos Tania who appeared from behind the door.

"Who said I was ready to be bullied? Mas Rasya's car I live here. To the campus I took your car" Nadia said.

"Why don't you just take it straight to the garage. Here you guys get out of my car," Tania asked as she placed her car keys on the dashboard of the car that Nadia was carrying.

"I just finished bathing baby Atar. I just want to get ready, but I took a shower. Just change the clothes doang," said Tania who directly entered the house.

Nadia immediately brought the car she brought to the garage to be exchanged for Tania's car. Then back to the yard with Tania's car.

Nadia got out of the car and waited for Tania to be ready to go to college by sitting on the terrace seat. "For as long as Tania dantannya, already 25 minutes he has not come out as well. Did Edos ask to add dips after seeing Tania neat and fragrant. You see, Mas Rasya's habits are the same as that, too" Nadia monologued. "Ah so added kangen with my killer lecturer that one, what is he doing now?" said again.

"Eh, speaking while smiling alone, later kesambet loh," Tania's sergeant who suddenly was in front of Nadia without Nadia knowing when Tania came out of the door. Is it possible that Tania had the science of haze halimun times huh?

"He, daydream again, let's go. Or want me to stay" Tania threatened.

"died? Who's got the car?" ask Nadia.

"Hehehe. You are the one who brought the car. Who else? I haven't been able to learn to drive" replied Tania.

Rasya has completed his duties as a speaker at an educational seminar in Surakarta since last night. However, he did not return to Jakarta immediately. As he said at that time to Nadia, he will stop at the house of his late grandfather's legacy occupied by Bu Leknya.

At 7 am Rasya departed from a hotel in Surakarta to Klaten by using an online taxi service. An hour into the journey, he had now reached the location he was heading to. After paying the taxi fare, he got out of the taxi and walked to observe the surroundings.

He is currently at the location where he used to live with his grandfather in Klaten. It turned out that the house of the late Mbah Kakung was evicted because there was a project to build the Solo-Jogja toll road. And from the news that he heard Bu Lek and his family had lived in a new house purchased from the money for the eviction of their house and land.

Rasya had indeed briefly read the news about the big project of the construction of the Solo-Jogja highway. However, he never thought that the house left by the grandfather also crossed the highway.

"It's a good thing that Nadia won't come, if until she pityes him. Lha wong I myself have not found where Bu Lek Milarsih's residence is, either" muttered Rasya.

The man is currently standing near the construction project site, waiting for his phone to be picked up by his mother's younger brother. Downstream the material transport truck makes the road full of dust. Fortunately, he always had glasses and a mask.

Not far from the project site many tent stalls are made impromptu. Rasya took the initiative to wait for his phone to be picked up by Bu Leknya while enjoying iced tea in one of the stalls. He also approached a shop that he thought was not too rame. Rasya also entered the stall directly sitting on the bench.

"Excuse me, Ma'am. Please make one iced tea, yes" he asked the shop owner without switching from his phone screen.

"Awaited yes, Mas," replied the owner of the stall and his servant.

"Please make one iced tea for the new guests that come, brother. Mother is cooking," ordered the shop owner's mother to her teenage son who was playing with his two younger siblings beside the stall.

The young man who estimated the age of the Junior High School child was immediately making Rasya's order because it happened that there were no other customers. then he put it on the table right in front of Rasya.

"Please, Sir!" The young man invited.

"Thank you, Deck." Rasya turned his attention to the young man. When their eyes whistled there was a strange swish in Rasya's heart, it felt like the young man's face was so familiar, but Rasya immediately brushed it off. "Oh yeah sister know not the people who used to live around here about now on moving where ya, Dek?" rasha asked the young man.

"Attent, Sir. I call mom. Maybe he knew," said the young man who went straight to the back to visit his mother who was cooking.

The young man took over his mother's job stirring up cooking. While the mother met Rasya. It looks like a face full of surprise in the eyes of the shop owner's mother after seeing who is the guest who is currently sitting on the bench stall.

"Rase?" greet the shop owner.

Rasya looked up again to divert attention from his phone. "Kania" he said, more surprised. "How are you? That iced tea was your son? You live around here now? Isn't your husband from the next subdistrict?" cecar Rasya streak like a track tronton material transporter of toll road construction.

The woman whom Rasya called Kania took a seat. "It's a long story, yes" he said looking sad.

The woman seemed to take a heavy breath before she began to tell a story, a look of sadness in her eyes. "My first marriage ran aground after I gave birth to my first child whom I named Raka Bagaskara. When I got married I was five weeks pregnant and my husband couldn't accept it, but he suspended his divorce until my son was born. I was kicked out of the house by my Father for making the family's good name tarnished." Kania paused his sentence, so heavy was the burden of life that he used to live alone until the tears flowed unable to bear.

"I came here looking for you. Ms. Lek Milarsih said all your family has moved to Jakarta and you are studying abroad. He asked me to forget you and not look for your whereabouts anymore. Three years I contracted in one of the houses around here, babysitting Raka alone. I work as a washerman in the homes of people who need my energy. Until I finally met Mas Lukman, my current husband. He loved me so much that I could forget you."

"So, you mean that Raka ... ?" Rasya hung up his sentence.

Kania just nodded. "The boy has graduated Junior High School, but we can't afford to pay for his schooling until High School. That's why he's helping me work at the shop. The plan is next month I want to register him go to a boarding house. My husband is now just a building porter. He's been working on this highway project. That's why I opened a stall here to help him," he added.

Waduh, why should there be Raka anyway, Thor?
