Shabita leaned against the head of the bed while Toni was sitting on the side of the bed holding Shabita's hand. The girl was initially reluctant to hear the story of the young man, but in order to make Toni calm then he would listen.
"I wasn't like this before. I'm a nice and simple young man."
"Then why are you so?" ask Shabita. He started to listen to Toni's story.
"Would you like to hear my next story?"
Shabita just nodded. Toni started to tell stories while looking to the past.
A sweet, rosy-skinned young man of good stature and sharp-nosed, white-clothed butt-arm was looking for fish in the sea. It was Tony himself.
"Toni! Tony!" call a beautiful yellow-skinned girl straight, dressed in yellow to him.
Toni looked from a distance and after recognizing who was calling her then she immediately ran small. "What's up, Deck?" ask Toni.
"The boyfriend came and asked me what was going on?" Santi pouting.
"Just kidding" Toni said as she pinched Shanti's nose.
"When do you want to propose to me?" ask Santi slowly.
Toni let out a sigh, this was the tenth question he had gotten in this month. Not that he does not want to be serious, but he does not have enough capital to apply for people's children. "Sister hasn't dared to propose. You, do you know this brother is poor in treasure and a job that doesn't make a lot of money."
Santi pouted hearing Toni's reasoning. "I'm tired of hearing you talk like that every time we talk about a proposal. If you're serious about coming home, ask me."
"I'm afraid of being rejected."
"Your head is the only one that doesn't exist" Santi said.
"Sister's not ready yet, brother's savings are not enough." Toni holds onto Santi's shoulders, asking that the girl be understood.
"Come, if you do not come also in these weeks I am compelled to accept a candidate from my father!" force Santi.
Toni is worried, she does not know what to do to prevent Santi from being married to someone else. Let alone capital to apply, eat paspasan. Toni talks to her parents.
"Remember Toni, who is she and what are we?" His father talked while smoking.
"Don't want to apply, living capital to eat everyday is difficult," said his mother while folding clothes.
"But our relationship has been going on for a long time. It might just be cut off" Toni argued.
"Son of the rich, remember it's Toni. Getting married is not only a few thousand capital, it is not enough just to KUA. We need the capital for the party fund and its surrender." Dad came back to smoke his cigarettes.
"How much are you saving?" sindir Mother.
Toni looks at her parents who are busy with their respective activities, while she thinks about her future and Santi.
The next day Toni came in a neat white shirt to Santi's house. The girl saw him from the window. Coincidentally her room was in the attic then the girl immediately ran down the stairs and opened the door for Toni.
"I'm coming, is your father home?"
"Some, in!" Santi pulled Toni to sit down. "I call, wait here" he said.
Tony looked at the whole living room. There were expensive things he could not afford in his house. Statues, jars, televisions and other precious objects.
"Dad, he's coming!" santi said excitedly.
"You can't go out to see him, let me just go."
Santi nodded. "Good, Dad."
Santi's father headed for the living room, Toni immediately stood up when he saw a fifty-year-old man coming towards him.
"You, Toni?"
"Yes" replied Toni, nodding and holding her hand forward.
"Yes" replied Toni.
"You mean you came here to propose to my daughter?"
"Yes, I seriously want to marry a son, Father."
Santi's father walked past Toni. Both hands were held back. "How much capital do you want to apply for him and what is your job?" Indirectly the question was menghohok for Toni, he felt sick and embarrassed asked like that. "Only armed with love, where can my son live from it all."
"I will try" replied Toni.
"How many years? What are you graduates, I heard SD did not graduate while my son was a graduate. You may borrow his degree to make a fake degree. It's good to be married to my only child."
"I will try myself" replied Toni calmly. But in his heart was very offended by the insults of Santi's father.
"Prove it first. I don't like to hear flirting, I like proof." After saying he left Toni without looking at her face or asking Toni to sit back.
Toni did not wait until Santi met him, the young man came home with a hot heart.
"Why else are you?" ask her mother who is cooking in the kitchen. He was astonished to see Toni coming with an angry face.
"There's nothing" replied Toni. He must bear his own heartache so that his parents do not hate Santi. "I need venture capital," Toni said later after her heart cooled back down.
His mother stopped his activities of chanting sambal. "Where can capital come from, our people are poor with no wealth?"
"I'm confused about this too." Toni scratched her head.
"Oh, yeah. In the village next door there is our land, try to work on it."
"It takes capital for seed" replied Toni prustasi.
"Borrow from your friend" his mother advised.
"Everything is like us."
"If you can't, why force it? Just live your life as it is. Matter is God arranged. Not at this time there will be a next time" his mother advised. The woman returned to the chili.
Toni was silent, sighing. He has to prove it to Santi's father.
"Dad doesn't like you being in touch with Toni. He is poor and uneducated!" His father spoke in his daughter's room.
"But Santi just love Toni" replied Santi.
"Can love really fill your stomach?"
"But-"
"No word but! You've chosen a doctor and I'll arrange your marriage soon."
"No way!" reject Santi. Her chest felt tight almost crying because of her father's decision.
"Indeed until when do you continue to expect the man to be established. That's impossible!" sangal His Father.
"Give him a chance" please Santi.
His father sighed and turned to face his daughter. "Life is not just love, your beginnings are happy, but children make you suffer. Parents can resist hunger, then how can as parents let their children starve. Moreover, Toni is poor where she can finance your child's school, let alone finance maybe buy a simple toy she can't afford."
How sad the insinuation, makes Santi feel sick and disappointed. "What did you tell him?" He wanted to know if Toni heard his father's insinuations.
"As I explained to you just now."
Shame is also sad to feel Santi. He could not imagine Toni's feelings and it was fitting for the young man to leave without saying goodbye to her. His tears flowed without him noticing.
