Edward and Calvin were together. Elsa's bullet made it through Papa Bastian's shoulder. However, the pen that Edward had been trying to use for his signature, landed perfectly, right in the heart of Elsa.

Edward who saw the body of papa Bastian was about to stagger, quickly, he ran over to papa Bastian. He immediately threw the body of Elsa who was smiling satisfied, even though her life was on the verge of death.

Bruk!

Elsa's body immediately fell to the floor, but her eyes were still open and still slightly conscious.

"Mama hiks hyks." Calvin immediately cried hugging his mother. His hands shook so violently when he saw that his chest was covered with fresh blood.

Not only the chest, but the mother also vomited blood, making Calvin even more afraid.

Elsa was not able to say a word, she was even more coughing blood until in the end a few seconds later she was unconscious.

"Bah!" edward said very worriedly.

"The woman should be taken to the hospital immediately" said papa Bastian who is still thinking about Elsa's condition.

"We better get to Pa's hospital" Edward said reluctantly.

Papa Bastian immediately shook his head, "Quick get him to the hospital. Let Papa take Calvin." he added while holding his shoulder that was torn by Elsa's shot.

Inevitably, Edward finally lifted Elsa's body and took her to the hospital. While Calvin continued to cry in the arms of Papa Bastian.

After a while, they arrived at the hospital. Edward immediately called the nurse to take care of Elsa. While he immediately helped papa Bastian to get inside by using a wheelchair.

"Bah, sorry Edward," Edward murmured softly when he saw his father-in-law entering the ER room.

The handling room for Bastian and Elsa is separated, as Edward is so reluctant to see or know Elsa's circumstances. He wished that the woman could die.

Almost an hour papa Bastian was treated, but there was no sign of the doctor coming out and telling his condition. Before long, Nisa's mother came along with Faiz and Erish in hysterical tears.

"Where's Papa?" faiz immediately approached Edward.

"Darling, sorry.." That's all Edward could say. He really feels very guilty for what happened to Papa Bastian.

Just because he wanted to help her, his father-in-law's life was now threatened. In fact, Edward did not know how he was doing at the moment. Supposedly, it was Edward who was in there, not his in-laws.

"Ba—how did this all happen? a—what really happened? why the hyks hyks hyks." Mama Nisa was unable to continue her words, her body immediately fell and was unconscious.

Edward immediately raised Nisa's mother's body and took her to another room. Edward also immediately told Faiz everything so that there would be no more misunderstandings. However, Faiz did not respond, and he did not cry anymore.

His face was flat, he did not know what he was feeling at the moment. Her husband becomes a murderer, while Calvin becomes an orphan. And now, his papa is still unclear.
