Chapter 3 The Teaser

There was a knock from behind the door, breaking the concentration of men who were struggling with archival sheets on the table.

"Get in!!" tell Axelle to someone who knocks on the door.

A young woman in a blazer suit and a red miniskirt blushed, entering the room quite spacious. He brought along files that his superiors had to sign. The scent of perfume from his synthetic body, poured out into the entire room.

"What's Bella?" axelle asked with both eyes fixed on all the archives she was checking on the table.

"This is sir, there's a file you need to sign." The woman bowed, deliberately revealing a pair of beautiful assets to tempt the cold man's desire. Such shameful things he has done so often. But unfortunately, the man never showed any interest in her.

"Keep it on the table!" tell Axelle not to turn away from her job.

Bella put the files on the table and then wagged her curly hair to get the attention of the man of her dreams.

Bella gently panned a pair of hazel-colored eyes before her. "I don't need applause from you, Sir. All I need right now is that you can forgive me for the flippancy of my attitude just now. I desperately need this job because I'm the only backbone of the family."

"Oh, so?" axelle replied, as if she didn't care.

"Yes, sir," replied Bella, disinclined.

"Well, I'm not going to fire you" Axelle replied.

"Thank you very much, Mr. Axelle." Bella took a deep breath, she felt relieved that she would not lose the job she loved so much.

"I didn't fire you, but your position as secretary turned into Office Girl!" ketus Axelle's.

"O-office Girl?" bella was surprised.

"Yes, Office Girl." Axelle sat back on the seat of his greatness. "Do you mind, Bella?" He shook the chair.

Bella shook her head, resigned to the decision given by her superiors. "I don't mind, Sir. The most important thing for me, still being able to work here and earn an income."

"Good!!" praise Axelle. "Now, get out of my room and pack your things. Because tomorrow morning, the table's already occupied."

Bella nodded thinly. "Good, Sir. Excuse me."

Axelle shook her hand, gesturing that she wanted Bella to get out of her room immediately.

Bella sighed and whistled to get out of the CEO's room and tidied up her belongings. He looked around and took a breath.

It's been a week, Daniel's been getting a job out of town. And during that time he did not once reply to messages or contact his lover. There are only three days left on their anniversary. He seems to be unconcerned because his request was not granted by Louisa.
