Please take care of my son

"Jasmin. You're gonna be okay." Windi Lirih.

Jasmin nodded weakly. "I don't feel strong, Windi. I don't feel strong enough to hold on." Jasmin began to shed tears that he had been holding back.

"Jasmin. You have to be strong for Arthur." Windi Pinta.

"Windi... do you know that I lived only for Arthur for a long time? I'm holding out just for Arthur. Since childhood Arthur I have taught to be independent because I realize that my age will not be long with Arthur. I didn't want to see Arthur feel awkward when I wasn't with him." Jasmin began to cry profusely recalling her son's face.

"And right now, I don't think my time will be long. I feel more and more helpless." Jasmin closed both of his eyelids as pain began to strike his body.

"You all right?" Windi looked worried.

"I'm fine." - Jasmin then opened his eyelids.

"Jasmin. Many prayers are with you so that you can get well again. Do you know Jasmin, the more intelligent Arthur becomes. You're right that he's such an independent kid that I feel so salute to him." Windi tried to switch their conversation to have Jasmin smile again. And succeeding, after listening to his words the smile on Jasmin's face appeared.

But it was only a moment, because a moment later Jasmin's face withered again when remembering his illness. "Windi.. Can I ask you one favor?" Jasmin asked with teary eyes.

"Whatis that? If I could I'd do it for you." Answer Windi.

"Windi. Windi. I know you can predict how I'm doing right now." Jasmin paused his words for a moment.

"Windi... Can I ask for that one favor when my time is up and I can no longer look after my son even see his smile?"

"I asked when that time came take care of Arthur for me. Please take care of Arthur because no one else can take care of you as sincerely as you." Pinta Jasmin.

"Jasmine..." Windi shook his head not wanting Jasmin to continue his words.

"Windi. Even though I know it's gonna be hard for you, I don't know who else to turn to. Arthur doesn't have anyone else in the world if I don't exist. Grandma, Grandpa, even her real father didn't want her whereabouts. Please Windi." Pinta Jasmin again.

Windi did not answer Jasmin's request because at this time he could not imagine what if what Jasmin said would happen. He could not imagine how sad Arthur would be if he knew his birth mother was dead and could not accompany him to old age. He really could not imagine how sad Arthur would be.

"Windi.. please.." ask Jasmin again.

Windi raised his bowed head. "Jasmin.I will take care of Arthur with all my heart until you recover from your illness. I'm sure you'll recover and be able to accompany Arthur into adulthood." Windi said he did not want to justify Jasmin saying he wanted to leave.
