Still Missing

Zahra sobbed making Reyhan let go of his embrace, and unbundled his intentions. He just vented his frustration

Reyhan exited the house driving at high speed. We stopped at Cafe D'Amor. He asks Gita to have someone drop off a cup of coffee for him, then walks up the stairs to the second floor.

Reyhan was sitting in his favorite place on the side of the balcony.

Vino finds out Reyhan's arrival, and approaches him. He sat down in front of his brother and asked "What did you do to Zahra, he almost committed suicide on the beach. Luckily I was following her this afternoon.She cried after driving Mama home from the park,"

"What?" Reyhan surprised.

" Don't you promise to make her happy?"

" It's all Vanessa's doing again, sending us pictures while we slept in bed."

" What? when did you do it?" Vino was surprised, he got up from his seat full of emotions.

" It all happened because I was drunk, when you were engaged. I was frustrated then. I feel like I'm not doing anything. After I woke up I found Vanessa next to me naked."

" It's worth Zahra being angry, if you weren't my brother I might've beaten you up."

A waitress delivers a cup of coffee, puts it on the table and leaves.

" Is she pregnant?"

"Let's go, I looked for him but he dodged. But I'm sure I didn't do anything with him" Reyhan said.

" How could you know, weren't you drunk back then?"

Vino's words made him doubt himself. He sipped a cup of coffee and left.

Vino looked up at the sky, his heart muttering, "Vanessa, do I have to step in again,"

While Zahra is getting restless, she feels guilty for ignoring Reyhan. She is still a wife. The pain and disappointment have covered her love and longing.

Deep down he longed for the good days with Reyhan. Her heart could not help but still deeply love the man who married her for almost one year.

The night was getting late, he was still awake. I also thought about Reyhan who came out of the house with anger and disappointment. His heart wondered, where is he, what is he doing and who is he with?

Reyhanpun kembali pulang. Ia mrnjumpai Zahra tertidur meringkuk di sofa kamarnya. Pipinya basah, bertanda ia habis menangis.

Reyhan menatap iba pada wanita yang telah mengisi hari-harinya dengan kebahagiaan, canda tawa hari penuh gairah. Kini ia sedang terluka karena ulahnya di masa lalu. Reyhan merasa bersalah telah membuatnya bersedih.

Reyhan mengangkat tubuh Zahra ke atas ranjang. Ia berbaring di sampingnya. Meskipun ia tahu Zahra akan marah ketika bangum ia ada di sampingnya. Wanita yang jadi candu baginya itu kini tak sudi tidur bersamanya lagi.

Reyhan masih terjaga memandangi wajah mungil istrinya itu. Tiba-tiba Zahra memiringkan badan memeluk Reyhan. Matanya masih terpejam namun bibirnya menciumi pipi Reyhan

Reyhan bertanya-tanya, apakah ia sadar atau hanya mengigau. Iapun tak peduli lagi. Ia sudah sangat merindukan belaian lembut istrinya. Iapun melancarkan aksinya membalas ciuman Zahra bertubi-tubi. Tangannya bergerilya keseluruh tubuh. Herannya Zahra tak menolak, ia semakin bergairah.

Zahra baru tersadar ketika Reyhan sudah menindihnya, " Apa yang kamu lakukan?" teriak Zahra.

Reyhan terus melanjutkan aksinya, Zahra tak bisa berkutik melawan pria berbadan kekar itu. Kedua tangannya telah terkunci oleh kedua tangan Reyhan. Reyhan kembali berbaring memejamkan mata, senyum kemenangan nampak di wajahnya.

Sementara itu Zahra terduduk menutupi tubuhnya dengan selimut, " Kenapa kamu memperkosa aku sewaktu aku tertidur?"

Reyhan bangun dan mendekatkan wajah kehadapan Zahra dan menjawab," Bukan aku yang memulai, kamu yang mulai mencium dan meraba-raba tubuhku, aku hanya mengikuti keinginanmu."

" What? I thought it was just a dream" Zahra said shyly covering part of her face with a blanket.

" Apa? jadi kamu mimpi berhubungan dengan seorang pria? katakan siapa pria dalam mimpimu itu?" tanya Reyhan yang semakin mendekatkan wajahnya kearah Zahra.

" Sudah, bukan urusanmu!" ucap Zahra seraya menenggelamkan wajahnya di bawah selimut. Ia terlalu malu menerima kenyataan bahwa dirinya yang merayu Reyhan tanpa sadar padahal berkali-kali ia sudah menolak Reyhan dan melarang mendekatinya. Hatinya bertanya-tanya "mengapa aku bisa bermimpi yang aneh-aneh, pakai ngelindur lagi."

Seperti biasa selesai sarapan Reyhan berangkat terlebih dahulu kekantor. Ia mencium kening dan kedua pipi istrinya, meskipun tak mendapat balasan. Jangankan balasan ciuman mesrah, senyumpun kini hampir tak terlihat dari wajah Zahra.

Zahra left for the office by driving her own car. When he arrived at the office, he felt less excited. He was sitting in the corner of the loby alone staring out the window.

Novan looked at Zahra and sat down next to her and said, "Have I beaten your husband who has made you sad? tell me who he is?" novan said in flames.

Reyhan who had been observing Zahra from behind the wall became furious at the words of Novan. He said to himself, "Basan snot brat dare to beat me, fortunately, if not for Zahra asking to hide his identity I've beaten you,"

" Hey, new employee here?" call Reyhan to his wife.

Zahra stopped and turned around.

" What's up ?"

" Get me some coffee!"

" I'll say OB, later,"

" I want you,"

Zahra irritatedly made a drink for her boss.

Reyhan returned to his room, before long Zahra followed with a cup of coffee. Reyhan asked Zahra to sit down.

"I hope you're patient, I'm trying to find Vanessa we're gonna get it all done,"

" I saw him in the garden with a baby,"

"Not necessarily the baby, I'm still with my feelings, I didn't do anything with her."

" It's up, if it's proven, I'll stick with my decision, get divorced!!"

Reyhan finds a bright spot in Vanessa's existence. He postponed all his work, immediately he headed to the location informed by his hired man

He's headed for an elite housing estate. A security guard still does not want to open the gate. The security guard called Vanessa first. He was just at the gate after the security guard hung up.

Reyhan entered the mansion, his heart trembling after hearing the cry of the baby. It is still in his opinion that it is impossible for him to do so. There's no way the baby is his son.

Vanessa came down the stairs, staring at the man who a few months ago broke off her engagement relationship because of another woman.

" Whose baby is that?" reyhan asked when he heard the sound of the baby crying.

" Do I need to tell you? I won't show your son to you "

" Don't mess with Vanessa, where could she be my son? we never do anything?"

" How can you remember? you're drunk,"

" We prove it by DNA testing,"

" I've guessed you'll ask for it, I won't want to do it,"

" What is your purpose, why did you just appear, after the child was born?"

" Do you want to take responsibility if I tell you I'm pregnant?"

" Of course,"

" Oh, I'm sorry, baby, I'm not the kind of woman in novels and soap operas. I'm already hurting," Vanessa said as she approached Reyhan, her finger stroking Reyhan's back. Reyhan was silent with anger.

" What is your purpose in suddenly appearing here, sending you those photos?"

" I'm gonna make you guys suffer the way I feel. I'll torture you slowly with your guilt for your child and your curiosity" Vanessa whispered cynically to Reyhan's ear.

" So crazy lady!" Reyhan shouted as he shook Vanessa's hand that was wriggling in his arm.

" Yes I'm crazy! I'm crazy about you. And now if I can't have you, then nobody else can have you,"

" Don't fuck around! if you touch Zahra by the end of a fingernail, I'll kill you" Reyhan said.

" Look at what I'm going to do, I'm sure you'll regret hurting me, Go!!" Vanessa kicked Reyhan out.

Reyhanpun came out of Vanessa's house with a chaotic feeling.
