Calming Hugs

A few minutes earlier...

Brey was busy enjoying a drink with his friend, Bella who had been in his sight since then suddenly disappeared with the giant man. Brey starts not caring about what Bella is doing, because it's not time they settled the dispute yesterday. Brey still needs calm, and still gives Bella time to think.

Almost half an hour Brey doesn't see Bella and the giant man back, making Brey ask inwardly where the two of them went.

"Of Brey, you're still looking for that woman, there's a lot of women who are sexier than Bella, here" Paul said, making Brey very upset.

Brey said, "be quiet, Paul," said Brey, "do you see where they're going?" keep Brey.

Everyone just shrugged their shoulders because they didn't know. Brey is starting to have a bad feeling. The man immediately put down his drink glass.

"Sorry friend, it looks like I want to get some fresh air first" Brey said.

"Find some fresh air or look for Brey" Jeremy teased.

Brey just grinned in response, saying goodbye to them.

Brey exits the campus parking lot, wanting to make sure Gerald's car. The car is still parked there.

"They're still in college, why am I feeling so bad? Bella, I hope you're okay, " thought Brey.

Brey keeps looking for Bella. That unpleasant feeling, made him restless and frustrated. Brey went back inside the campus building. He walked every hallway and class. Not finding it on the ground floor, he went back up to the second floor. The atmosphere of the campus was getting darker, but Brey was sure something was wrong. His footsteps grew more confident when he saw one of the classes there. He quickened his pace, and faintly he heard the sound of a woman crying.

"PLEase...!!!"

That shout made Brey's eyes widen, "Bella...!" shout Brey.

Brey ran towards the voice he heard. When convinced it was really Bella's voice, Brey tried to open the door.

"Locked," thought Brey.

Brey kicked the door many times, even using the power of his body to break down the door.

Braaakk...

Brey managed to open the door, his eyes wide open as he looked at the helpless state of Bella on the floor. The woman cried and asked for help. Furious, Brey pulls Gerald's large body.

Punch after punch was thrown by Brey at the man. Gerald who was heavily drunk, could only sprawl without fighting back. After Brey vented his anger, he immediately opened his suit, he immediately covered Bella's body which was almost naked. The woman cried and her body trembled in fear. Brey hugged Bella tightly.

"Don't be afraid, baby, I'm here. You're safe now. Bella, don't cry anymore, you're safe" Brey said, trying to calm the woman down.

"I'm afraid of Brey, I'm afraid." said Bella trembling.

Brey gritted his teeth, eager to kill the man who nearly raped his love.

"Sssstttt.. baby, calm down. Don't be afraid anymore, I'm with you" said Brey continues to hug and calm Bella.

The sound of a groan of pain from Gerald's mouth, making Bella more tightly embrace Brey because she was still afraid. Brey immediately lifted Bella's body.

"We're not done yet, asshole...!" chirp Brey to Gerald before stepping out to bring Bella home.

Brey takes Bella to her car. Along the way, Brey continues to curse and curse Gerald. Bella who was beside him could not stop crying, the woman continued to hug her own body while trembling.

"Bastardly man, if anything happens to Bella, I won't spare you. I'll make you regret touching my woman" Brey thought.

Brey pulls Bella's hand, trying to calm her down. But the touch just makes Bella surprised and frightened.

"Bella, it's me... I'm not that jerk, I'm Brey. I'm sorry for coming so late, baby," Brey said.

Bella let go of her crying again, the woman was crying louder. Brey pulls her car over, pulling Bella back into her arms.

"Damn it...!" brey.

"Darling... Do we need to go to the hospital?" ask Brey.

Bella shook her head.

"All right, but please calm yourself. You're really safe now" Brey asked, letting go of his embrace.

Brey wiped away Bella's tears that kept flowing down her cheeks. The man kissed Bella's forehead to calm her back down. After Bella calms down, Brey drives back to her car.

Brey takes Bella to her own apartment and doesn't want to leave the woman she loves alone. He didn't want Gerald to do anything to him again.

"Why are we here, Brey?" ask Bella.

"This is my apartment, I don't want you back there. Don't be afraid, baby, I won't do anything to you. You stay here tonight, okay!" answer Brey.

Bella nodded her head making Brey relieved. He got out of his car while turning towards Bella's seat. The man helped Bella down, and she immediately raised Bella's body again.

"I'm better, you can put me down, Brey" Bella said.

Brey smiles but he doesn't listen to Bella's request. The man continued to carry Bella until he reached his room. Brey lowered Bella slowly on the sofa.

Bella held her hand, "can you not leave me Brey, I'm afraid. Stay close to me" Bella said.

Brey crouched down in front of Bella, she stroked the woman's pale face.

"I'm not going where Bell is, I'll always be with you" Brey replied.

"Don't go..."

Brey sighed, he got up and took Bella's hand. The woman follows Brey into the kitchen to get a drink.

"Drink.." said Brey.

Bella nodded her head while drinking the water.

"You sure you're not hurt?" ask Brey.

Bella shook her head, "I'm fine. I'm tired."

Brey lifted Bella's body again making the woman gasp again.

"Brey..."

The man immediately took Bella to his room, he threw Bella's body into his big bed.

"You can change your clothes with mine and then go to sleep" Brey said.

Bella held Brey back, "I just want to sleep, stay by my side. Don't leave me Brey."

Brey nods her head, pulling a blanket to cover Bella's body. The woman closed her eyes, holding Brey's hand.

Gerald groaned in pain, his face swollen from the blow he received from Brey. He regretted hurting the woman he was supposed to protect. Gerald has long been interested in Bella, wanting to invite Bella to a free relationship but not as she does now.

"Fucking drink.." said Gerald annoyed.

Gerald went back to his apartment. But the man immediately headed to Bella's room to apologize for his actions.

Arriving in front of Bella's room door, Gerald actually sat there. She believes Bella is still scared.

"Oh My God's...What do I do.." said Gerald annoyed, "this drives me crazy." he added as he woke up and returned to his own room.

Gerald undoes his intention to apologize to Bella, because he believes Bella may not want to see him at this time.

The ringing sound of the phone woke Brey up in the middle of the night, Brey looking at his phone screen. His father called him John Mahardika.

"Hallo pah's..."

"Where are you Brey, there's a problem at the restaurant. You go there now" said John in a panic.

"But pah.." But the call was already closed by his father.

Brey is confused as to how, it looks like this is serious about his restaurant but on the other hand he is unlikely to leave Bella in this state.

"Oh my God, what should I do?" think Brey.

The man's anxiety makes Bella wake up.

"What's Brey?" ask Bella.

"Did I wake you?"

"It's okay, it's just that you look really agitated. What's up Brey?" ask Bella again.

"It looks like there's been a problem with my dad's restaurant, so..."

"Go away. I'm fine."

"But..."

"Room back when it's done" Bella's army assured Brey.

Brey let out a long sigh, he looked at Bella's face in confusion.

"I promise to be back soon" Brey said, leaving Bella with a heavy heart.
