RETURN

At eight in five minutes, Kyler's entire family was sitting around the table. The head of the table is empty . On the right are Yasmine and Erland, on the left Austin, Arion, and Sheila . 

Yasmine did not stop to continue persuading Erland to cut her hair. While Arion was busy looking at Sheila with both of their hands holding each other at the dining table. While the eldest brother was busy fiddling with his phone.

And at exactly eight in less than a minute, Friz's grandfather showed up in the dining room .  The old man who still looked young and fresh, stepped in with a movement that started nimbly.  With an appearance that was as if twenty years younger than his actual age.  Just sit at the head of the table which is usually sat by the papa.

Papah Justin did not follow the family dinner because he was busy taking care of his work abroad.Friz observed all his small family members one by one and stopped towards Sheila.

"Happy birthday, Sheila. "

Sheila smiled broadly .

"Thank you, Friz's grandfather."

"Grandfather has prepared a special gift for you, but it doesn't seem like a surprise. Austin must have told you."

"Cake of course. "said Austin triumphantly

"That's a very expensive gift, Grandpa .  It seems like too much of a birthday present.  "

Friz shook his head while smiling lovingly . " It's nothing, just a regular car. "

"Again thanks, Grandpa" said Sheila smiling sweetly

" Aunty has something for you too, Sheila. "

This time Yasmine interrupts . Staring at the attendant who was directly approaching with a large, velvety-red jewelry box in hand and placed it in front of Sheila.  One luxury jewelry box.

"I don't have to guess . Mom's gift is still the same as the year before . It hasn't changed at all." Austin grumbles, and again gets delicacies from Sheila even though Yasmine just ignores him .

"Come on, Ma . Sheila already did her 20th birthday is there nothing more special than jewelry? She rarely wears it."

Yasmine clucked at Austin, then looked back at the other waitress, who immediately returned with three other large boxes .Contains dresses, shoes, and luxury bags . 

" Yes, Austin's right. But the woman needs all this "Yasmine replies to her first child.

"I-this is a lot of auntie" said Sheila was not tasty

"It's okay for the collection. "

"Thank you aunt" said Sheila smiling haru

"Together, darling. "

Austin nodded his head not expecting this much of a prize, "At least the prize is more expensive than my watch".

"You just give me a watch?  " drums of Yasmine .

"Even so the price is not cheaper than all the gifts mamah . "

"But what do you think I'm using such an expensive watch for, Austin .  It is not a matter of expensive or not.  Why would I use a watch if I could just check the time on my phone" Sheila said

Austin was at a loss for words.

"And you're proud of your friendship that was established five years ago" Arion said .

"of course. I was the only person close to Sheila even before you who shyly approached her".

Arion grunting . A moment's silence, then all eyes were on Erland. Waiting for Erland's turn. Erland who was stared at was confused .

" What? Why ?"

"You don't intend to give a gift? " ask Austin

" I didn't know she was a birthday."

"And the most reasonable . He's not part of our family, is he ? " continued Erland

Friz growled not to like, nor did Arion. He felt he did not accept the words of his second brother.

Sheila in my heart.

" Nah, you can say it as part of the family . But we don't even know each other . Right, right ? In addition to the neighbors who live next door and I'm also rarely in this house.I also don't know what gifts I should give him .

"Your words are too harsh, Erland, "remember Friz

"You know, Sheila's like part of our family now." said Austin, who was busy fiddling with his cell phone.

"Yes, you think so. But not with me, right ? " said Erland

"Speak politely Erland! " reprove grandfather Friz

"Immediately apologizing to Sheila, you hurt her heart with your rant Erland. "

" It's okay cake. Erland is right, we don't really know each other . " Sheila was trying to stop the chaos that was beginning to awaken . 

"Sheila is okay, grandpa .  "

Yes, the only member of the Kyler family who never attended the family dinner was Erland.

Arion stroking the back of Sheila's hand was calming, it was common knowledge that Erland was indeed difficult to accept new people.

"At least say happy birthday as your empathic form, Erland" said Yasmine softly .

Erland sighed softly," Happy birthday . "

" Okay, is that it? "

Yasmine and Friz's grandfather smiled full of satisfaction and nodded.

 "Thank you." Sheila forced one smile on top, which instead looked stiff.

"Well, we'll eat first . After that , there is something important that needs to be revealed by grandfather to all of you . " Friz stopped back towards Sheila.

" Including yourself . " Sheila frowned, but then she nodded .

Placing a gaze towards Austin, the new one gave him a shoulder twitch.Dignifying that the man also did not know. 

The waiter began serving the menu at the dinner table together.  Starting from appetizers, main dishes, and desserts .  Be a second-rate birthday cake for Sheila from Friz .  First cut for Grandpa Friz, Yasmine , Arion & Austin. 

"I don't like sweet . " Erland pushed the cake given by Sheila.  But due to getting a warning look from his grandfather and mother, he pulled back the plate reluctantly . 

"But I'll keep eating it. Thank you," he said coldly .

Sheila nodded briefly and ignored Erland's indifference. After all, they never knew each other.  Besides each other's names.

"Ehhmmm ." Friz's grandfather cleared his throat, gaining everyone's attention and seriousness began to change the old man's face . 

"Grandfather wants to tell you about some things to all of you . "start

"One of them, a few days ago, Grandpa just got out of the hospital."

" Is grandpa okay now ? " Arion chimed in, looking frowned because even himself did not know about the news . 

"Grandfather is fine for now." he nodded

"Why didn't grandpa tell us? " ask Austin annoyed

"Grandpa did forbid your mama to tell . But that's not what's important now . Grandpa needs a successor . " The three waited for , one of them to be appointed .

" Grandfather won't point at any of you . "

The sentence made the three of them look at each other, except Erland who was busy knocking - knocking the tip of his index finger to the table without a sound . It looks more relaxed than others .

"You yourself will determine it . " The three frowned not understanding .

"What do you mean, Grandpa ?"
