Chapter 51 Time for vengeance

On the spectator bench. Me and my team are sitting next to Aaron's team. We all kept quiet after the game. Maybe their team felt that they were all too weak. In fact, my team is too strong.

  While I was sitting next to Leon, someone hugged me from behind.

  "Raphela!!" While hugging me.

  I also looked towards him. It turned out that the one who hugged me from behind was Novaria. He seemed to be very happy when he hugged me tightly.

   "You look really good playing!" novaria said with a hand that hugged me tightly.

   "Thank you Novaria." while stroking her long hair.

   I am tired of being less and less with her cheerful existence. Adam's team and Reinhart's team were still sitting on the bench in the Field waiting for the match to begin. 

    "Who do you think will win Raph?" asked Novaria who put her hands on both of my shoulders.

   I don't know, actually I can't guess who won either. Both teams are equally strong. The Reinhart Team consists of Tom, Xavier, Matt and Gary, and Team Adam, which includes Michael, Luci, Raymond, and Frans.

   "It's hard to guess with the content of their team like that" I replied.

   "Yes, looking at it, it is so. But I'm more interested in Adam's team" Leon said.

   "Especially there is Michael and Luci who are famous for being fast in running with Adam who has a stat above Average. Allows to put great pressure in the game." Vincent sat on Leon's left side.

   What Vincent said was true. We all know that Adam had statistics above the average Ordinary man. In fact, it could be categorized that he was the successor of his older brother who currently occupied the number 1 Top Ranker in Jermuntz.

  Thus, it was easy for him to get past anyone he should. However, Reinhart and Tom could not be underestimated. Their stats were also not much different from Adam's.

  Both teams are very difficult to guess the outcome.

   "Adam and Reinhart are attacking." I muttered as I folded my arms.

   The two of them will fight each other to score as much. Tom and Frans help each other.

    "Of course it's that influence, is it their existence?" ask Novaria.

   I was quite confused to answer it, because the existence of the two of them who are known for their ability to support someone is equally. And also the existence of others can not be taken lightly.

    "Yes their existence is quite influential. It's just that the other existences can't be taken lightly either." Trying to explain to Novaria.

  "Gee! As it means, I quite understand." said Novaria while nodding a little.

   It's good that he understands the words I say. They all started getting ready for each other. Alvian who was holding the ball in the middle was immediately prepared to throw the ball.

   He made sure both teams were ready. He looked back at Reinhart and Adam in turn. It seems like they are all ready for each other. Alvian started throwing balls.

   Adam and Reinhart jump together. The ball was picked up by Tim Adam first. Luci began to drible his ball on the spot while looking around. Adam and Michael had already run forward quickly. 

   Reinhart and Gary immediately chased them both away. With Frans' position in the middle and Raymond guarding at the back so that there is no Counter Attack directly.

   Luci started to progress slowly while dribbling the ball in his right hand. Xavier began to approach Luci. He tried to reach the ball in Luci's hand. However, Luci is able to scratch Xavier so he cannot reach the ball.

  Xavier tried to keep reaching him but Luci still moved the ball to the right, left and back to avoid reaching his hand. Until finally Luci throws his ball down past *************** Xavier. 

  Luci immediately ran chasing the ball past the right side of Luci. He quickly picked it up and immediately passed it to Adam with his back to his body. 

  I was a little amazed at the way he passed. Although it looked easy, the accuracy was so high that Adam could catch it easily. Adam jumped to the back and threw the ball at the ring.

  The ball goes into the ring. Score 2-0 for Team Adam's lead. Thanks to Luci's very magical operand. Luci and Adam did a Toss.

  The ball is now being held by Tom. Without much time, Tom immediately ran while dribbling the ball forward. Passing Adam, Michael at the same time.

   Luci, Frans and Raymond are standing guard at the back. A cover of Reinhart and Xavier immediately followed Tom's movements.

  They did a Pass to Pass triangularly which left Luci, Raymond and Frans confused. Until the ball goes back into Tom's hands, Tom immediately makes a throw leading to the Ring. The ball went into the ring.

   Now the scores of both teams are the same. 2-2. So far, the game has been pretty stressful. Neither team gave up at all. It's pretty exciting when you look at it.

  "Wohh! Tom drove quickly past the two of them" Novaria chirped.

  "No wonder I see it that way. When I fought him last month alone, he was able to escape from my pursuit" I replied.

  His speed is worth watching. It's just that, he often did a movement in origin without thinking first. 

  The ball was taken off the field by Raymond. Then he passed to Frans who was not far from him. All of a sudden, he immediately threw the ball from the tip like I did. Unfortunately, the ball did not enter the ring.

  But I didn't expect it to come in. The ball is now in Reinhart's grasp. All members of Reinhart's team immediately advanced into the opposing area without a single guard. Each one of them gets in the way of each other one on one. 

  Reinhart, who was blocked by Adam, looked calm and did not show a panicked expression on her face at all. He hummed on the spot looking at Adam's hand. He moved to the right and to the left but could still be followed well by Adam.

  Until, one of his team was headed into the Area Free throw Line. Reinhart made a deceptive move to outwit Adam. He moved to the right and Adam followed him. However, he did a Bounce Pass towards the left. As a result, the ball escaped from Adam's guard and began to lead to Gary who was in his Free Throw Line.

  Gary immediately jumped to catch the ball that soared. He immediately did a Dunk when he got the ball. At the moment the situation immediately turned around with Team Reinhart leading the point temporarily.

  Reinhart and his team quickly returned to the Areas. Unfortunately, Counter Attack was directly done by Team Adam. Frans immediately threw the ball away toward Adam who was willing in the Reinhart Team Area.

  Adam also got the Ball and immediately did a Jump Shot from the 3-Points Area. The posture of his body when jumping was like he was already an expert in doing so. He threw his ball just as he was in the phase when he reached the end of his jump. And. yes, the ball went in perfectly without touching the Ring at all.

  The position began to move with Team Adam leading. 

  "A very good technique. He can do Jump Shot with the Ball without touching the Ring at all" chirped Leon in front of me.

   "Is Jump Shot really hard to do with Leon?" ask me.

   He also looked at me. "It's not difficult anyway, just with the ball that goes as perfect as it is, we can be sure the accuracy is very high," replied Leon.

  "Means Adam is perfect? He is proficient in all academic and non-academic fields." Vincent asked with a chin up.

   Time passed quickly, now there were 5 minutes left. Scores from both teams 15-11. Since then they have been playing as usual. The Reinhart team relied on speed and Team Adam relied on his 3-Pointer. 

   The ball is now being held by Matt who stands the center line. The Defense Zone Strategy is by Tim Adam. With Raymond and Frans guarding the Corner Zone, Michael and Luci are guarding the 3-Point Area and Adam is standing guard near the Midline. Matt was starting to get confused. Because there is no Empty Space that can be used to pass.

   But Matt did a backward move. No one expected what he wanted to do. He immediately threw his ball towards the Backboard of Team Adam. When the ball is thrown, Reinhart and Tom work together. Tom did a Screen to Michael and Luci guarding the 3 Points area. Reinhart ran unattended to Free Throw Lane. 

  The ball does not go into the ring. However, Reinhart immediately jumped in to do a Rebound and inserted the ball into the Ring with a Dunk. No one thought Matt would do that. I could see Tim Adam's face filled with shock.

   "The way to escape from the Defense Zone was quite unthinkable. How can he trust his Team to do a Rebound ball," chirped Leon with his body.

    "Whichever team will win the match, this can only be seen at the last minute" I said.

    "The two of you were so serious. Are you watching their game?" sela Isaak's.

    "I'm just looking" I replied.

    "I'm a little bit interested in basketball. That's why I'm watching their games" Leon replies.

    "From the time we first met you already liked Leon Basketball. When you're playing street basketball against other school kids" said Novaria.

   "Still inget aja Nov. whereas I've quite forgotten the same incident." 

   "Why not want, your people invite me to play basketball even though they do not know each other. And I also knew about Basketball at that time."

   Seconds already show the number of 30. 30 seconds left. They all played immediately with high speed and heavy intensity of field pressure. Score by score printed. The current score is 40-41. There's only 5 seconds left. 

   The ball was held by Frans. With such a time, It seemed like Team Reinhart would win the match. But, unexpectedly, Frans threw the ball from end to end just as he had done. 

  All eyes were on the floating ball. Time goes on fast. The ball bounces right towards the ring. 

   TSSS

  The ball had surprisingly entered into his Ring along with the time that was gone. The score changed to 43-41 with Team Adam winning. Frans did a reckless thing with time that was only a fraction of a second. 

   Frans also did a Celebration by pointing at me who was in the Spectator's Bench. The look in his eyes seemed to prove that he could do what I did. 

  I was surprised when he pointed at me. Was that a challenge directed at me? Then, I will gladly accept it. 

   "DORAH!! Reinhart even lost before fighting me. I'm not playing anymore.." Kroenzi with a lethargic face.

  We were all shocked by what Kroenzi said. I forgot! He joined my team just because he wanted to defeat Reinhart. What would happen if Reinhart had lost first before the match. With that decreased spirit, it was impossible to defeat Team Adam later.

   "Yes-yes. Kroenzi's spirit. We can play again later to win." I'm trying to make it spirit.

   "It's just spirit if you don't fight Reinhart." Kroenzi replied.

   Damnit.. Her child-like attitude pissed me off. However, I have to find a way to restore his spirit. What am I supposed to do now?

    "It can't be so dong Kroenzi. We are a team, we must have the same vision. Throw away that stubbornness of your head" Leon said, advising Kroenzi.

   "We as a team should be able to have a vision" said Vincent.

   "There's no harm in trying to fight Adam's team to win. Maybe if it will get a Gift from Mr. Gritz," said Isaak.

   These 3 people finally understood my feelings. The three of them tried to get Kroenzi excited again.

   "No No No. I'll be excited if my opponent is Reinhart." Kroenzi shook his head. 

   What do I have to say to get his spirit back on fire.. I started thinking about what to say to her. Uh! A lamp appeared in my brain. 

     "Hey Kroenzi, you said you wanted to beat Reinhart, didn't you?" ask me.

     "Yes, you're taking me like that."

     "Then you can still beat Reinhart even if Reinhart doesn't play anymore." I tried to convince him.

    "You think.. If we are against Team Adam, it means automatically we have also defeated Team Reinhart is not it? Team Reinhart lost against Team Adam. If we defeat Team Adam, then without thinking we have also defeated Team Reinhart." I said as I crossed my legs while sitting down.

    His expression that had been lethargic began to get excited again. "yes! Why don't I think about it huh. well, I'll get excited again HYAHH!! To defeat Reinhart!" kroenzi said, standing with a burning spirit in his body.

   Fortunately, it can make him excited.

   Since it was my Team's turn and Adam's Team's turn to play, my team went back to the Field. But before that, I also stroked Novaria's hair so that I could get excited.

   "Remangatin me again Nov!" I said while stroking her fine hair.

   "Definitely Raph!!" replied Novaria with enthusiasm.

   "Hahaha. yaudah I went down first huh. Dah.." while waving at him.
