Cring..

The phone alarm sounds from under the pillow. I saw the clock still pointing at 06.00 WIB, I went on to sleep. Not long ago my eyes closed, my phone rang again right next to my ears, making me shocked to wake up and sit on the bed. It was Aldi who called me.

What's up Aldi called at this hour, like there's no agreement to leave. Today is a work holiday, Sunday. Go back to sleep, still sleepy.

Five minutes later, she banged on my door and called my name in a loud voice.

"Viona... wake up!! Viona...!!!"

I got up and opened the door to my room, rubbing my heavy eyes to open my eyes. I saw Mother with Aldi standing in front of me. I immediately opened my eyes wide in shock at Aldi's sudden arrival.

"Bang Aldi, what's here?" ask me while tidying up the irregular hair. "Old time huh? I'm not interested, anyway."

"Geez, look at your HP. How many calls. You're the one who's still a slur," Aldi replied with a small laugh.

"Vio.. Aldi.. I live first, yes," said Mom as she walked into the kitchen.

"Yes ma'am." answered me and Aldi simultaneously.

I went straight to the bathroom to wash my face and brush my teeth. After that, I changed my clothes and rushed to the kitchen to make a warm tea. Then, bring the drink to the living room. I was still confused as to why Aldi had suddenly gone home. There is something important that Aldi wants to talk about.

"Darling, did you fall early to the house?" ask me while putting two glasses on the table.

"I want to talk about our engagement, baby," replied Aldi. "Later on, I'd like to talk to your mom about this, too. Did you tell Mom?"

"Udah, that's not important. He's just a cousin, honey. Remember, only cousins" Aldi said with a smile.

I'm going to be engaged to Aldi, geez, this is not a dream? And I'll be his wife-to-be. Hope this is real. But why would I be worried that Fira will thwart this engagement. Ah, nevermind. Lupain.

An hour later, I asked Mom to sit down and talk about my engagement to Aldi. Before, I didn't know about this. I hope, Mother agrees to this engagement. Mom sat next to me with a plate containing my favorite chocolate banana and Aldi. Then I put the plate on the table.

"Mom, I'm sorry to bother Aldi so early in the morning" Aldi said. "Mom's not busy, is she?".

"It's okay, Aldi. I'm not busy yet" replied Mother while offering a plate filled with snacks. "Come, get eaten."

"So gini, Mom. Aldi wants a fiancee with Vio, what's Ngizinin's mother?" ask Aldi.

"Yes, it's okay. Mom is up to Viona, whichever is good. Who is living you," replied Mother with a smile.

After a long conversation, Mom went to the back leaving Aldi and me in the living room. Aldi was so happy to hear Mother's answer agreeing to my and Aldi's engagement. Then, Aldi told me that his family would come to my house next month for this engagement, I nodded. The clock was set at 14:00 WIB, Aldi rushed to go home. I went straight into the room, today was the happiest day. Because, next month I'll be Aldi's fiancee. And hopefully it will be smooth without the barrier of his cousin. I took Aldi's doll and hugged him in the happy crib of my heart. I ran to the kitchen to tell Mom.

"Mom.. Mother.." I called Mom.

"What's up, Vio?" I asked, putting a glass on the dining table. "Why, Son? Here we eat together."

"Fiancee's show is next month, ma'am. Aldi forgot to tell Mom, "I answered with a happy face.

After I told Mom, I rushed to the room again to take a nap accompanied by a beloved cat doll.
