WHEN DARKNESS COMES
A different girl

At exactly 10pm local time, the evening's lecture was over. Students come out of the campus one by one. Including Daniah and Elena.

“Dan, are you still friends with him?” elena asked as she looked at Rich from a distance who was sitting him on the bike.

“Of course, she is my best friend,” replied Daniah walking closer to Rich, followed by Elena.

“Can I get acquainted with him, Dan? She's so charming,” Elena whispered from behind.

“Iya!”

Rich smiled looking at Daniah. He got off the bike and greeted his best friend.

“You okay Rich? Sorry to keep you waiting,” Daniah said when she saw Rich seemed cold.

“I just need a hug, to be warmer.” Rich tapped in while pulling Daniah into his arms.

“Wow! Is this what I saw? You guys look like more than just friends.” Elena commented.

Daniah let go of Rich's embrace, then looked at Elena intently. “El, watch what you say!”

“I’m sorry.” Elena laughed softly, then she approached Rich and extended her right hand at the man. “Hey, Handsome. I'm Elena.”

“Richard,” replied Rich shook Elena's hand for a moment.

“A pretty cool name,” praise Elena, while staring at the two blue beads of the man.

Rich just smiled faintly in response.

“Then I excuse.” Elena immediately resigned herself.

Daniah and Rich look at Elena's departure.

“Isn't she an attractive girl Rich.” Daniah said she was still staring at Elena's back which was getting further away from her sight.

Rich raised one of his eyebrows, turned his head and looked at Daniah. “Don't try to be a matchmaker, Dan!” Rich said flatly.

Daniah looked at Rich cynically. “Once again you can read my mind! Ah, is mind reading one of the perks of a Hunter?!” Daniah asked and sneered at his friend.

“Please just say so!” rich answered and then lifted Daniah on his bike.

Daniah screamed in shock, as Rich lifted her without any weight at all. “Rich, you're crazy! How could you do that? My body is heavy!” Daniah was still shocked by Rich's actions just now.

“This is also one of the privileges of a Hunter!” Rich replied while chuckling softly, then he got on his bike.

Daniah rolled her eyes lazily, then hugged Rich from behind as the man started to ride his bike.

The night air is very cold this autumn. Rich felt a chill run through the streets to the castle that was far from the city. Rich with his super strength pulled Daniah's hand until the girl moved to sit in the front seat, facing him.

“Rich!!”

“Help me, Dan!” rich replied without one of his hands holding the gas motor, while the other hand hugged Daniah's back.

Daniah let out a long sigh, she was actually very surprised by all the actions Rich had done to her. But, out of pity with Rich, she ended up hugging Rich like a koala child hugging her mother.

“Get tight, Dan!” exclaimed Rich, then he used his supernatural power to accelerate the motor in his vehicle very quickly.

“Rich!” Daniah screamed in fear and immediately hugged Rich very strongly.

Not long after, the motorbike driven by Rich had arrived in front of the ancient Alberto Castle. Daniah was terrified, and still hugged her best friend tightly.

“Dan, do you feel comfortable being in my arms?” asked Rich while chuckling softly.

Just contact Daniah immediately let go of his embrace, looked at Rich fiercely and then hit the chest of the field a little strong.

“Cih!” Daniah was just upset, trying to get off the bike, but he couldn't because he was still sitting opposite Rich on the bike.

Alberto stood by his window, staring down outside the castle. He saw Daniah talking to Rich.

There is a sense of dislike when you see Daniah near Rich. He clenched both his hands tightly.

“Actually I'm very unwilling if you go inside that castle!” Rich said when Daniah said goodbye to him.

“Rich, Please! Don't talk about this anymore, okay!” Daniah begged his friend.

“Dan, you don't understand how worried I am!” Rich hissed as he looked up, staring into the topmost window of the castle. He knew that Alberto was currently watching them.

“I can take care of myself. After all you have given me a protective necklace, so I will stay safe,” Daniah replied as she cupped Rich's face with both hands, then kissed the corner of Rich's lips at a glance.

Rich held both hands Daniah who was still cupping his face, he closed his eyes while gulping his saliva violently. It felt like he wanted to return Daniah's kiss, but he was afraid he could not hold himself back anymore. Given the status of both are only friends.

“It's been night, Dan. Get inside the castle immediately. The night air is getting colder,” Rich said.

Daniah smiled and took off the jacket she was wearing, then gave it to Rich.

“Thanks.” Daniah smiled and moved from there to the castle.

Rich looked at Daniah's back. He was very worried about his best friend, what else Daniah had to live in a castle with dirty bloodsucking creatures.

After making sure Daniah has entered the castle. Rich immediately rubbed his left hand quickly until a blue light appeared. The blue light expanded, and suddenly faded again along with the disappearance of Rich from there.

Daniah closed the castle door and immediately locked it, but she gasped in shock when she heard Alberto's voice right behind her.

“It looks like you enjoyed your trip with that Hunter?!” Alberto said with a very flat and cold weight.

“It's none of your business, Mr Al! You know about Rich?” Daniah turned her body after mastering her shock. Now he stared intently at this pale man standing before him.

“Yes, she has a very special aroma. He is the greatest enemy of Vampires.” Alberto answered as he approached Daniah, sniffing around the girl. “Even the aroma can disguise your very fragrant aroma. What a marvel!” hiss Alberto, then stared intently at Daniah.

“Therefore I feel safe with him!” Daniah looked at Alberto no less sharply. There is no fear at all.

Daniah's answer seemed to contain a strong insinuation for Alberto. Because the man left Daniah while he was injured.

“Surge! You're blocking me Mr Al!”

Alberto shifted his body, giving way to Daniah.

“Thanks!” Daniah walked up to the stairs that would lead her to her room without caring for Alberto.

Alberto immediately followed Daniah from behind. Should he be the one who's angry ‘kan? Why was it that girl who looked so upset with him?

Alberto shook his head slowly, Daniah was different from the human girls he had met before.
