That day, there was a group of students from one of the private universities in east Java. They were on their way to a remote village. The group will conduct a Real Work Lecture (KKN), in a remote village called Sumber Kantil Village. their KKN is the KKN of choice from campus. Which as long as they do KKN, their living costs will be borne by the campus. Instead, they will carry out every activity in the village in accordance with the tasks that have been prepared by the campus.

The student group consists of 18 best students with high GPA values from various majors on campus. They consist of 6 students and 12 students. Eighteen of these students were selected from each of their courses. There are those who serve as Student President (Presma), There is a Chairperson of the Student Senate, and some of them are chairmen of HMJ (Student Association of Majors).

Before traveling to KKN. First they are collected by the campus to determine their small organizational structure later. And in the meeting was composed the position of every member of KKN. Abian who was then the Presma (Student President) was appointed as the leader of the group.

Now the twelve students are on a mini bus that takes them to the village, where they will KKN. Although the village they were heading to was quite remote. But they enjoyed their journey. They sang cheerfully, joking and full of laughter happened on the bus.

It took them about four hours to reach the location they were headed to. Their location is far from the city. Their vehicles had to pass through steep mountain slopes and quite meandering its journey. This is the beginning of the life of the city children in a village that is quite far from the city where they live. Three students riding a motorcycle followed the bus in front of him. They bring the vehicle so that later in the village they have a vehicle to facilitate activities while there.

During the journey they saw the expanse of rice fields, sugar cane fields and houses of villagers who were quite far from each other. Not to mention the streets that are still a lot of rocks. It became a new sight for them.

Arriving at the village, they headed to one of the houses referred by Abian earlier.

Mr. Kasno, a middle-aged man in a mega-overcast batik outfit was sitting on the porch of a large house. The man seemed to have been waiting for the arrival of a group of city students who would KKN in his village.

The arrival of Abian and his group was welcomed by Mr. Kasno, not only that, hot tea and fried bananas were prepared for them. And Mr. Kasno's welcome made the hearts of the students happy because the homeowner was quite friendly for their arrival.

Mr. Kasno, he is very capable and authoritative. He quickly adapts to Abian and also his group members. Mr. Kasno turned out to be the former Village Chief in the village. So that Mr. Kasno is really the right informant for these students to do research.

Mr. Kasno also gave an explanation to Abian and his group about the condition of his village. As a former village head, of course, Pak Kasno mastered the conditions that exist in his village.

Abian and his group listened carefully to the explanation of the host they would rent for a month and a half. Because after all they are new people aka newcomers in Sumber Kantil Village. So they don't want to act that violates the rules there. They have been wanted by the campus to maintain manners while there.

"Anyways you're in someone else's village. There are customs that you must take care of while here. You are guests but that does not mean you can be arbitrary. Take care of your alma mater's good name. We entrust this trust to all of you, "message one of the lecturers who took the eighteen students to Sumber Kantil village.

While team B went to the field together with Mr. Kasno. They are equipped with equipment to harvest cassava. All this time they have always lived in a crowded and polluted city. Once they arrive in a village that is still very cool it makes them always capture the moments they find there.
