"You hit him? How severe?"
Afgari. "Not until I hit you, ma. I know boundaries too. I'm just trying to get out of me, that's all."
Mikaya breathed a sigh of relief. Luckily he had given the provision of understanding to Afgari, however the man was still his biological father. He only hurt, but not with a grudge let alone to hate.
"Now you already know how the shape of your birth papa. So now how do you want?"
Afgari turned and looked at her mother's face.
"I think that's enough, ma. Enough for the first and last meeting, I don't want to see her face again."
"You really don't want to see him again?"
"Yes, what's it doing? He doesn't even deserve to call me papa should."
"But you did when you met him?"
Afgari.
"Why?"
"Maybe it's a form of gratitude I'm the same as him, thanks for without him I would never have existed in this world. So I called him papa in front of him."
Mikaya reviewed a thin smile. The understanding he had been trying to give to Afgari was not in vain. Afgari can still control his emotions even in front of people who have been hurting him.
"Mama's proud of you, son. You can control yourself from your anger."
Afgari let go of her embrace when she remembered something.
"Oh yes, ma. There's a prospective female student on my campus who wants to register and she was bullied by a senior. He said he was the son of a pelleccehhan victim twenty years ago. I think it's Aunt Mira's son, the human victim of the biaddabb."
Mikaya was surprised to hear that. After a long time, there is now more news about Mira.
"You sure?"
"His face is a bit like Aunt Mira from the photo that my mom once showed me. I think he's a aunt's son, Mira. But, according to mama what she's the result of-"
"No," concluded Mikaya quickly. "Although he is Mira's son, I'm sure he's not your brother. That incident happened when you were six months old, if he was the son of your father, his age would not be far from you. Must be a year younger than you. But you said he just wanted a college list, right? You have been in college for almost three years. He's an estimated eight dozen, while you're twenty-one. Maybe Mira recovered from her trauma and so married her same fiance who on that day came to the apartment and saved her."
Afgari nodded her head.
"Yes, that makes sense too, ma. Means aunt Mira's really healed."
"Mama hopes so too. Thankfully, Mira is well and happy with her family. If you can ask the same help you make sure whether the girl is Mira's child or not. If it's true, you try to talk well with him, you ask where he lives, mom really wants to meet Mira."
"Yes, ma. I'll try to talk to him later if I see you again."
Mikaya hopes that Mira will actually recover and have a small family. He is also very concerned about what happened twenty years ago. He does not intend to discuss it again and make mental and old wounds Mira open again, he just wants to be happy. That'sthat's all.
