WHY LOVE

WHY LOVE
S2 - Papa the Protector

Anita had just arrived at the boutique parking lot and had not yet come down, but her phone rang. He frowned, rarely did Malik call him.

"Huh..."

"Mbak Nita, have to go to the house!"

Not yet finished saying hello, Malik hastened to speak from afar with a serious tone.

"What's wrong?"

"Your husband is doing something. Cepetan to the house, mbak!"

And he was stunned. Once home, the situation inside was very messy. Tumbled chairs, toppled tables, broken flower vases scattered as well as shards of shard scattered in the living room and near the dining room.

"What's going on?" Anita only finds Malik who invites her to sit in the family room.

His cry could not be contained as soon as he heard Malik's speech. Not crying over the condition of her husband whose face is out of shape, but crying over the fate of his household that might not be able to continue. Moreover, all families now know the ugliness of her husband. Enough to get here.

Jimmy is evacuated to Surya's room and gets treatment as he roars with pain. Anita tells Surya to take Jimmy to the hospital for intensive care. Despite his hate and disgust, his human side remains.

Nico's cornered reaction made him even more sobbing. Nico was right, he didn't follow his sister's ultimatum long ago. Not not knowing Jimmy's dagger. In the office, her husband had a scandal with the secretary until the woman asked to be married. But a large amount of money in nominal terms can solve the problem until the secretary resigns from his job. She remained patient and discouraged, her husband would change.

I'mtired.

That's how he feels now. Tired of heart and mind made him decide to just stop.

"Holy, sorry...."

Anita recalled earlier as she approached Saints who were about to leave the house. But Suci even rewinded his body with a look of fear, and turned his face.

Yeah, reasonable. He understood the disappointment and anger of his sister-in-law. But he did not mean to apologize for Jimmy's behavior because it was inappropriate to be forgiven. He intends to apologize and regret for the disaster experienced by his sister-in-law. Maybe it was because he was out of the house. Leaving two adults in the house, let alone her husband was still drunk.

"Mommy, where's the Holy Aunt going?"

Naura's arrival made her hurriedly look away. He rubbed his two wet cheeks and shrunk his watery nose.

"Naura wakes up, there's nobody in the aunt's room."

The child continued to yawn and rub both eyes and lay down on his lap.

Anita was confused as to what reason to make. "Holy Auntie with Manda again to Umi's house. I'll go there first." He rubbed Naura's hair with mixed feelings.

"Naura wasn't invited." Naura frowned and sulked to be delivered to Umi's house.

"Naura the day after school, baby." He tries to give understanding. "Tomorrow we'll go back to Bali."

"Before Naura came home wanting bobo again with Manda. I will not see you for long."

"Mommy, plis...." Naura sulks. Staring at him with glazed eyes. Naura asks to be delivered following Amanda.

He shook.

As a result of his refusal, Naura cried loudly and ran away leaving him.

"Naura...." He screamed hoarse. The little girl ran into the room.

Anita breathed a long and heavy breath. It was as if there was a huge rock pressing against his chest. The dizziness in his head was getting pulsating.

Father and Mother came in the afternoon with panicked faces. They do not know what the problem is so Malik told him to go home immediately.

The surveillance camera footage that Malik plays makes Anita shut her mouth. Shock.

It turns out that reality is more dramatic than just listening to stories.

Moreover, the Saints who experienced it, could have been traumatized. He also saw her cringe and shocked not to play.

Father and Mother are heard saying serighfar and head bobbles. And then looked at him sharply. Anita bowed down if she got an outlet for her parents' anger.

It is not love that keeps her married. The beginning of a marriage based on sincere love for a young college student whose life is all but short, is slowly eroded once Jimmy's nature changes. The trust given by her to manage the hotel and villa, made her husband forget his identity. For the first two years, she felt the joy of marriage. After Naura was born, Jimmy enjoyed partying and hurrah.

She persevered in the hope that her husband would return to the right path. She persisted with optimism her husband would return to good character as when dating. His unbroken prayers and hopes prove to the family that his choice was right. He also survived because of the words of Father who always ringed in his ears.

"Anita, I don't agree you married her not because she's poor. But I don't think he's being sincere with you, son."

"No, Dad. Jimmy's a good guy. I loved him so much and was amazed by his hard work that he was able to graduate college with his own efforts. Please, Dad. Restui us."

"Well, if you force it. But no matter what happens, you have to swallow the consequences yourself!"

And he had to swallow the consequences of his choice that turned out to be wrong. For years he played. Happy and cheerful in front of his family, yet crying behind his back.

"Dad don't talk now. Wait for Nico to come. Come, Bun...!" My father and mother left him. He saw clearly a look of annoyance and anger on the faces of his parents.

He returned to exhaling a long breath. Getting his head down. Not to mention Naura who locked herself in the room. Snuggle.

Nightfall. Anita is like a defendant in the midst of a family gathering. There was Father, Mother, and Nico staring at him. I don't know what's in the hearts and heads of those three loved ones. He is facing judgment.

Amanda kept crying and not stopping. Suci has tried to make the cute baby want to suckle. But unlike usual, baby Manda refused when the mother offered a source of nutrients that are usually voraciously aspirated. Patiently, Suci fondled so that the child would stop crying. Even though when Papa Nico is at home, baby Manda can be calmed by him once he whines.

"Darling, mimi yes.don't cry, son. Cape..cup cup...." Suci sat down because he was tired of standing petting and he offered back ASI. Baby Manda refused. He looks frustrated.

"Holy, let me be that fat." Salma took the baby Manda from the Holy lap. He and Candra had already heard of the problem when the magrib had arrived home. He was initially happy to see the presence of his sister-in-law and nephew. But growing compassion once heard the story from Umi.

"Cup cup cup...kesayangan ateu...has been crying dong...cape dear...." Salma takes baby Manda out of the room followed by Candra.

"Holy, your son can feel that his mother is sad, your emotions are unstable. That's the effect on ASI being bland, so Amanda refused."

"Try to calm down, son." Umi rubbed the back of Sacred who lowered her face and then sounded sobbing.

"Take peace of heart and mind.this is the test of God...."

"Umi Weight...." Saints lay their heads on Umi's lap. His body was shaken from crying again.

"Why should I be treated so badly, Umi. If this is a test, why does God test me like this.I always keep myself from maksiat...this is not fair."

"Sshh, don't say that, son. Istighfor...." Umi stroked Holy hair, channeling the love of a mother to the child who was unstable in emotions.

"God will not humiliate His obedient servant. The proof, you survived thanks to your husband's intermediary who helped at the right time. God made your husband forget to miss things at home, then moved him to go home. That's no coincidence."

Saints calmed down a little to hear Umi's advice. Crying subsided. He said Istighfar with a sigh.

Candra opened the door of the Sacred room to complain. "Umi, Manda can't be soothed."

"Let's be with Umi" he said as he moved and told Suci to rest.

Sholawat chant as Umi cradles, making baby Manda's cry slowly subside and fall asleep. It had been half an hour more in the sling, it felt quite sound, plus his shoulders felt numb. Umi laid her down near the Saints who looked veiled.

"Slow down, Umi." Sacred Word once Umi lowers baby Manda.

Just recently Umi straightened her hands because of soreness, baby Manda woke up and returned to crying loudly. As if protesting for no longer being in a sling.

"Bang, call Nico!" Umi surrender. Perhaps his father was calm. He tells Candra to ask Nico to come home soon.

The phone in Nico's hoodie pocket vibrated. He ignored. The focus is on listening to Anita's words that began to open up her household problems so far accompanied by sobs.

Nico is more listening than talking. His intention to imprison Jimmy was dismissed because his brother had made the decision to sue for divorce. He followed Umi's advice to make a decision taking into account the bad. And her brother's decision to divorce, she strongly supported. He will also provide supervision if Jimmy will not accept and do evil to his brother.

The phone in his hoodie pocket was back vibrating for the fifth time. He reached into his pocket and stared at the screen of his phone. Candra called.

"Yes Bang?" He answered without leaving his father's office. Heard his son's backsound crying and being pacified.

He immediately stood up as soon as he heard Candra's explanation. Making everyone who was in the room frown at him.

"Yes. I'm home now." He put the phone back in his pocket.

"Nico, what's wrong?" Mother looked at him worriedly.

"Amanda was crying, Bun. Just stop for a little while because cape...keep nagis again, he said."

"I'll go home first."

"Mother's coming." Mother stood up to be ready but she prevented it.

"Mother tomorrow. It's already night. Mother must be cape too. If you want to spend the whole day there, it'll be good." Her advice made the mother agree.

Nico drove his car at high speed on a fairly quiet road because it was past 9 p.m. It only took 15 minutes to reach the Umi residence.

It was not only his son that had to be placated, but his wife as well.

He grabbed the baby Manda from Umi's sling. Stay in the room of the three of them.

"Unfortunately Papa..kangen Papa yes...cup cup..." He nodded with a slow swing. He kissed the cheeks of the child who wept without tears. The child's instincts know the presence of Papa the protector. Her crying subsided and seemed comfortable in the father's cradle.

Now he turned to look at Suci who was watching him with glazed eyes. Slowly he sat down near his wife.

"You give me mimi first, baby." He looked at his wife with stinging eyes.

"Your mother did not want ASI.had been forced too.." The saint shook without spirit.

"Try again..." He handed over the calm baby Manda with twitching eyes.

"Mama should also calm down.don't be scared anymore...Manda doesn't seem comfortable seeing her mother sad."

"Mas don't go. Don't go anywhere." Saints looked at him with dark eyes.

"Yes, baby." He kissed the Holy forehead to calm down. The holy eyes are still in fear. Seems to be traumatized.

"Bismillah...." Nico helps bring the child's mouth closer to its nutritional source.

"Come, baby..mimi first.cape yes cry....Papa won't go again...."

Miraculous.

The voice of Papa Nico makes baby Manda suck breast milk as soon as his red lips stick with the tip of his nutritional source.

He smiled with relief and so did the Saints.

"Our son is hungry, baby...." Nico tidied Holy hair and held it without disturbing breastfeeding. Intentionally kiss and caress he did to suggest that the wife feel safe and protected. Of course it is done with all my heart.

"Sure, Papa. Since Papa left Manda cry continues. Been hungry...."

Nico smiled relievedly seeing Sacred being able to smile again. Again he repeated peeping and rubbing the shoulder of the wife.
