Letter of approval of father/guardian of the future wife,

Personnel official certificate regarding the status of not/ever married, from the soldier concerned,

Certificate of status has never been married/widow/young from the competent authority, or,

Divorce certificate/death of the husband of the prospective wife or certificate of divorce/death of the wife and prospective husband when they are widowed/youth,

Police Notes Certificate (SKCK) from the local police about the behavior of prospective wives/husbands who are not soldiers,

Letter of TNI doctor about the health of the soldier concerned and the prospective wife/husband, the,

Six pieces of photo fitting size 4x6 soldier concerned and future wife/husband, the,

A baptism certificate or certificate from the relevant church official for Protestants and a bath letter that is not older than six months for Catholics and a letter of sudhi wadani for those who are hinduism.

Marriage permission is given if the marriage to be performed does not violate religious norms held by both parties.

After being granted permission, both will get written evidence in the form of a Letter of Opinion of Religious Officials (SPPA) and are required to face the commander/limit and religious officials in their respective units for marriage guidance.

The marriage license is valid for six months from the date it was issued.
