"What?! Mother beat you to a bruise like this?!!" Gerald asked with an angry look on his face while looking at his wife.

Ayu looked at her husband, and she knew she couldn't lie so she nodded slowly and said, "yes, but I do deserve it, I was negligent when looking after the niece so the niece accidentally dropped a flower vase that belonged to a very expensive mother, so-"

"You think like that?! How could Mom beat you to a bruise like this just because of a vase of flowers? There is nothing more precious than my wife!!!" Gerald grumbled as he continued to treat his wife's body with his annoyance.

Ayu was silent to let her husband do anything and she could not say anything more to defend anyone so the room was in silence until Gerald finished applying the ointment to the bruise on his wife's body.

"Honey, I went to the market with my mother and a good person gave me a gift" said Ayu immediately opened a drawer and pulled out a watch and showed it to her husband with a smile.

The woman hoped her husband would forget his anger when he found out his wife for the first time got a precious gift.

Gerald who saw his wife's expression could understand that she was trying to calm him down so he sighed while taking the watch and putting it on his wife's hand, "it's good that you meet good people, I hope in the future you meet more good people. Sorry because until now I have not been able to make us move out of this house, even though you are always tormented here. Yesterday I asked for a cheap contract but my salary was not enough to pay for it and especially to support both of us."

Ayu faded the smile on her face, because she knew for 3 years their marriage her husband had been so tormented and was in a great dilemma because of what they had experienced in her husband's parents' house.

"We'll definitely get a way out of our problems. The important thing is that now you stop blaming yourself, work well and healthy" Ayu said.

"Sorry dear," said Gerald immediately pulled his wife's hug always landing a kiss on the top of Ayu's head.

Ayu also enjoyed a gentle hug from her husband while thinking inwardly, 'I hope there is a miracle that allows us to leave this house. At least a small, cramped house doesn't matter as long as my husband and I can have a household that we set up completely."

Ayu was completely aware that when they were staying at people's houses then their households would be under the pressure of the homeowners, and they can't complain and argue for everything the homeowner says because they just hitchhiked.

"Tonight you don't have to take a shower, the ointment in your body will wear off if you shower just wash your face," Gerald said when they were silent for a long time.

Ayu raised her face to look at her husband, "well baby, but should we continue with that one?" Ask Ayu who feels sinful to her husband if he does not serve the man.

But furious at his wife's intentions, he immediately shook his head, "I'm not a husband if I force you to do something in this condition!" Firm Gerald.

"Alright, then let's go to the bathroom," said Ayu immediately stood up until the two men went to the bathroom with Gerald who took a shower while Ayu just washed her face before they went to bed.
