CH 08 Out of the Forest
Xiao Lei walked out of the Xiao family residence in the morning, Xiao continued walking until he was about to enter the Divil Forest, only Xiao Lei felt that he had been followed by a group of people secretly. But Xiao Lei remained calm from earlier because he knew they would attack when they arrived inside the forest. So before entering the forest Xiao Lei stopped and pretended to be afraid to risk entering into the Divil forest while Xiao Lei himself had his meridians destroyed, the real Xiao Lei was provoking the emotions of the groups that followed him, because when they were emotional it was Xiao Lei who had the opportunity to use animal monsters to hinder them and then look for a temporary hiding place.
After a day and night Xiao Lei continued to look afraid to enter the forest, some groups were seen getting annoyed and causing movements that Xiao Lei was very aware of. With the right time estimate for them to start attacking, with that time Xiao Lei also broke into the Divil forest which he understood very well because of the map of his mother's legacy. Xiao Lei herded them all into the lair of a level 1 beast monster and made the animal angry then hide into the cave not far from the nest.
Outside the groups that followed Xiao Lei were fighting with the monster beasts and had been overwhelmed. Meanwhile, Xiao Lei entered into the cave that should have been a level 3 monster beast guarding many treasures including rare medicinal plants, monster core crystals, and many others, and the most important thing was the portal stone to activate the teleportation array towards the innermost part of this Divil forest. Since the current Xiao Lei did not possess any strength and only had a small storage pouch which meant that the supply was not much, it started to enter the cave slowly. Xiao Lei who was powerless and with this shattered meridian actually made his presence unnoticed by the level 3 monster beast and easily took the stone and fled when the animal the monster is asleep. Xiao Lei had indeed deliberately not taken any other treasures because other than to save his life, he also did not have enough storage equipment, and Xiao Lei was planning to take them after his strength was sufficient. After arriving outside the cave Xiao Lei resumed his journey.
The days passed by Xiao Lei had obtained 4 portal stones and was currently only lacking one portal stone to activate the arrangement. Xiao Lei who was covered in wounds from the fight when he took the previous portal stone remained persistent in obtaining the portal stone until the end.
"luckily I still have a lot of tricks, this time however I have to activate the arrangement and get the treasure!" babble Xiao Lei to himself.
When the distance was not too far to go to the next place Xiao Lei decided to rest while treating his injuries and strategizing because this time Lei would face off against a level 4 monster king.
"Roar, you daring son of a bitch took my stuff!" said the monster king.
Xiao Lei who did not know the max of the monster king could only guess from the expression of the angry king.
"Relax my king, I only borrowed it for a moment, hehe" Xiao Lei said awkwardly with a trembling body
"I'll bring my king's souvenirs later." continued Xiao Lei as he ran as fast as possible.
The angry king chased after him while roaring.
