It did not feel they had reached the hospital and now Alona was in the ER while Edward sat on a chair while staring at the ER door with a feeling of worry regardless of blood stains on his clothes.

Nearly two hours of waiting and finally the ER door opened making Edward get off the chair and walk towards the ER door as the doctor came out.

"How's my wife doing, Doc?" ask Edward with a worried tone.

"The knife puncture wound on his stomach is not too deep and thankfully carried in time because the patient is almost out of blood loss. Fortunately we have stock of his blood" replied the doctor.

"Can I see it?" ask Edward.

"It will soon be transferred to the treatment room, you wait in the treatment room" the doctor replied.

Edward just nodded his head then the doctor said goodbye to Edward to check the condition of other patients.

Not long before the ER door was opened appeared two nurses pushing the cage where Alona was lying.

Now Edward sat in a chair near the bed while holding the hand of Alona, whose eyes are still closed.

His tired body added late at night finally Edward put his head on the bed by using his two hands and Alona's hand that there is no infusion as a bearing his head.

It didn't take long for Edward to sleep soundly until the next morning. Early in the morning Edward had woken up because his body was sticky plus his clothes were stained with blood made Edward go home to the mansion and ordered his men to stand guard in front of the treatment room.

Fifteen minutes into Edward's departure, Alona slowly opened her eyes and looked around her room while remembering what had happened.

"I'm where? Am I dead?" ask Alona.

"But impossible because my hand on the infusion means Edward's brother took me to the hospital? But who knows who might have told his bodyguard the proof he wasn't there" Alona said, pulling an infusion needle.

Alona walked slowly towards the door and peered through the glass and Alona saw two bodyguards chatting in front of her bedroom door.

"I have to get out of here, but which way?" alona asked as she looked around her until she looked towards the bathroom.

Alona walked towards the bathroom then looked towards the sky - the sky and saw there was a vent made Alona close the bathroom door and then rose by using a closet.

Alona pushed the vent to the side and then climbed upwards regardless of the stitches in her stomach being injured.

Fresh blood dripped on the bathroom floor, the pain of trying on the opponent as the pain was nothing compared to the pain given by her family as well as her husband.

Alona managed to climb to the ceiling and walk on all fours for up to ten minutes then she saw that underneath there was an empty toilet.

Alona slowly descended after Alona managed to walk while holding her stomach that felt sore then opened the bathroom door.

Alona peeked at the bathroom and she breathed a sigh of relief as it turned out to be empty. Alona came out of the bathroom and walked towards the door and she was grateful that the hospital hallway was empty.

Alona walked slowly until she reached the rear hospital parking lot to coincide with a woman who was putting the goods in the trunk of the car making Alona walk towards the woman.

"Help me, please" Alona.

The woman closed the trunk door of the car then looked at Alona in surprise.
