You're In My Grips

You're In My Grips
Chapter 26

Diana's grandmother confirmed the position of her glasses, looking at the two people before her eyes intensely. Because he saw a very rare sight, Erick possessively continued to hold Dara's fingers.

"Did I see wrong?"

"No. I have something to say and it's important news." Erick smiled as brightly as his heart.

"What?"

Dara coded Erick not to express that one-sided desire, how he could think of getting married while he did not yet want to be tied to the marriage itself.

"Me and Dara are getting married, Grandma."

"Wow, that's amazing news. Is this true news or are you just making it up." Find Diana's grandmother.

"What my face looks like is lying, Dara and I are now lovers. I don't want to put it off again, even if she doesn't want to get married too soon." Erick looks sad.

"Huh, poor Dara." Granny Diana muttered while leaning her back, the look of a sad face was clearly visible on her wrinkled face.

"What do you mean my grandmother's an unlucky carrier?" Erick who heard the murmur of the grandmother felt unacceptable.

"Finally you realize, too, you're bringing bad luck to Dara." As for Sela Alan who had just arrived, she was excited when she saw Dara.

"Shut up." Erick was upset, his mood instantly changed when he saw Alan's arrival, it was no longer an open secret. "Why do you always mess up."

"Eits, relax, man. I didn't mess up, I saw Dara and got me straight here."

"Ck, you can't go near Dara."

"Why?"

"Because Dara is Erick's future wife," Erick did not answer but Diana's grandmother.

"What?" how shocked Alan was and almost had both his eyes removed from place, turning his gaze to his smiling cousin brother triumphantly as if mocking him. "Huh, I'd love to sew her mouth so as not to be able to smile at me." Of course the sentence was just stuck in his throat.

"Why are you looking at me like that? Still can't believe it? From now on you must not approach my future wife and must take a distance of one metre when necessary."

"Ck, yesterday you made it hard and now you're being possessive."

Dara and Grandma just sat quietly hearing the endless fights, the debates never end like dogs and cats.

Diana's grandmother glanced at Dara and gave the code so that they immediately left the two people who were still arguing, not to tease her but she wanted to chat.

"Grandma, what if they realize we're not there?" whispered Dara who held back her laughter.

"Leave it, they always make me dizzy even the twins are getting me stressed with their behavior every day. I'd love to have a granddaughter, but fate has written me down who should accept the four grandchildren." Diana's grandmother complained, while Dara shook her head smiling at her behavior.

His entire gaze was turned to stare at the room that belonged to Grandma Diana, no one knew why time was traveling so quickly. The statement of feeling was revealed by Erick, until now he was trapped.

"I noticed you were daydreaming, ever since Erick told me to marry you, that's when you daydreamed a lot." Grandma Diana locked onto stare at her interlocutor very intensely, she wanted to know what kind of thing was troubling the girl in front of her.

"Eh, I'm not daydreaming." Elak Dara nervously made Diana's grandmother smile shaking her head.

"You can't lie to someone more experienced than you. Although I often forget and senile do not make me stupid by not understanding someone from the expression of his face. Just like experienced people, the salt acid of life has been tasted."

Dara was silent for a moment, thinking whether she would tell the truth about the lingering taste in the heart. "I'm not ready to get married yet" she said, playing her fingers and distracting herself.

"Didn't you love each other? Why don't you want to marry Erick? Did he hurt you? You can tell me directly."

Dara immediately grabbed the wrinkled hand, feeling guilty about her words of honesty. "It's not so Grandma, I don't want to bond a marriage. Moreover, this relationship has just begun." His feelings of fear and trauma in the past, where he was abandoned in an orphanage. She felt herself to be alone, demanding her independence at a very young age. Do not want if the incident repeated to his son later, what if he separated and accidentally left the child alone and circumstances forced him to be more independent.

"Be at peace with the past, I can. If you're still stuck, then forever you won't advance in your life." Diana's grandmother smiled warmly, she was the happiest to hear the news of the wedding. Dara's nature impressed her, her innocence and innocence won her trust so quickly. He even trusted Dara more than his grandchildren.

"I can't be sure, Grandma. Erick's decision has a burden on my heart."

"You can do it, and I believe it."

After the departure of Diana's grandmother, Dara began to think about the words of the old woman. It's true, but it's not as easy as turning your palm. Now she was glued to the window, after daydreaming long enough to decide to go to the kitchen because her hungry stomach wanted to fill it immediately.

Dara opened the fridge and looked at some vegetables and meat, smiling at the thought of what she would cook.

"Let's start," he muttered in his own monologue, clipping his hair high and starting to dwell in the kitchen.

Yes, the smell of cooking makes anyone tempted to try it. Dara who was busy in the kitchen was suddenly surprised by a pair of hands that were coiled around her slender waist, she turned her head and it turned out to be the work of her lover.

"Don't bother me cooking, go there!"

"You kicked me out?" erick deliberately showed the look of his sad face.

"It's not. Don't show any affection here, what if Dicko and Dicki saw it? What if Grandma and Alan were watching, too?"

"Just let grandma and Alan see it, especially that guy."

"He's your cousin, not your enemy."

"Who knows from cousin to enemy, he could have stabbed me in the back and snatched you from me."

How to get rid of long breath considering Erick's increasingly possessive attitude hugged him tightly. "What about the twins? They're kids it's not worth seeing this."

"You take it easy, there are many reasons to give them." Erick said so sure.

"What are you doing?"

When the two turned their heads and saw Dicko and Dicki staring at them innocently, the panicked Dara unintentionally elbowed Erick's stomach which made the man grimace in pain.
